I still just think it’s weird and random bringing up the Shield stuff now. If anything, this should’ve been the angle in 2016. When Roman still had the gear, the music, “Belive That” etc

Roman was still using all of that until basically when this title reign started. It was what maybe a week in when he finally changed it? I think it worked for the most part.

Here's an interesting idea, do you guys think the main roster should bring back certain titles like the European title and the Television title and turn them into actual midcard titles while elevating the IC and US championships to upper Midcard titles?

Would you want another set of the womens tag titles with that?

Actually I'd make the women's tag titles a tri-brand thing. NXT/RAW/SD. But...

Make the Women's championships unified, and then give the women a secondary title to work with. At least it's an idea.

The women’s tag titles were supposed to be tri-brand and then WWE just dropped that shit with no explanation lmao. This is what I mean when I say their booking doesn’t warrant anymore titles. That’s literally why Sasha left for months. She wanted herself and Bayley to defend the tag titles across multiple brands to increase the relevancy and then WWE just had them drop it to the Iiconics after a month for no reason so she became disillusioned.

I always kinda find it funny how slightly overblown WWE losing money in 1995-1997 is. WWE was losing TV Revenue and merchandising money but were still faring pretty well (better than on average) against WCW in the PPV buys department.

It is true they were doing well on PPV, but it wasn’t offsetting their costs. There’s a reason he breaks his contract with Bret Hart in 1997. He legitimately couldn’t afford to pay him what they agreed to only a year ago.
