Yes... yes it is. :lol At that time he was one of the most pushed acts on Smackdown. I'm not saying he was ever gonna win the title or anything, but the main thing that's held him back in his WWE career in injuries and age, and regardless of that he was never pushed strong at first and then forgotten out. His push has been consistent his entire run on the main roster.

Obviously injuries have fucked him up but come on. His US title reign was trash bro lol

Dawg, that really isn't the point. He was getting Ws. He was a big part of the programming. And after losing the belt, he moves into the WWE Title feud with Kingston. He has been pushed relatively hard his whole run. I'm not saying he's been BOOKED WELL. But he's never been an afterthought. Which is really my whole point. People pretend every NXT call up is just buried when that isn't the case. They're just not on NXT anymore. :lol It's a different environment with different standards and different booking.

I'm not saying it's for the better either. I prefer NXT to the main roster. Their brand of entertainment suits my style more. I like most people better when they're in NXT than when they get to the main roster. But it's not because they get jobbed out and forgotten about, it's because the main roster product is not as good to me, and people are not as protected, and there is a bigger roster.

Joe has been awesome if it wasn’t for injuries he’d have def had at least one reign. Plus he’s now the best commentator in the company and has just given himself a nice steady income for as long as he wants.

I like him as a commentator. I just thought he could’ve done so much more on the main roster. C’est la vie

idk there’s only so long I can take you seriously as a big bad monster when you keep losing. That’s the problem. To me title MATCHES don’t matter if you always lose. Samoa Joe would literally come out and act like the big bad bully who would assert his dominance but couldn’t get the job done when it counted. That gets real old real fast.

What’re they supposed to do? Joe was never gonna be Champion. He’s injury prone and he’s fat; he’s never gonna get a good run with the belt.

So it’s either they put him the title picture and beat him, which you’ll complain about.

Or they’ll put him in the mid card, which you’ll complain about.

lmfao tell that to TNA. No I wouldn’t have cared if they put him in the midcard if the run was good but it wasn’t. He was champion for two months. What did he do with that run? Fuck all nothing. Give him a nice six month reign with the US belt and make the feuds meaningful.

That was hilarious and I love how the WWE on Fox twitter account keeps trolling Robert Stone with that picture
