Bottom line though is your claim that guys that graduate to the main roster get jobbed out and then forgotten about is just untrue. In my opinion, the problem isn't that NXT call-ups get jobbed out, the problem is that you don't the main roster's booking as much as you like NXT's. Which if that's the case, that's totally understandable, but the two things are totally different.

Are they different though? The way a superstar is booked definitely affects their star power.

The funny thing is they come to the main roster with superstardom already. That’s what NXT is for. The only place for them to go is down and that’s usually what happens.
Truth be told, most of the guys that came from outside WWE were “stars” before NXT. NXT just let them get more polished and learn WWEs camera angles, commercial break timing, etc. NXT hasn’t created new stars in years

And you keep saying that people usually go down. Take a look, Nakamura and Bobby Roode are the only guys that were at the top of NXT to flounder

yeah all that shit you said about Samoa Joe happened at the beginning of his run which reinforces my point that they get a huge push at the beginning and then fade afterwards.
Another completely untrue statement. :lol He had world title matches in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Sorry, take that back, no world title matches in 2020 due to the two different injuries he's sustained this year. :lmao

Yeah one match and never did he come across as actually being able to win. He was just used as a throw away competitor to give the fans a breather before Kofi moved on to his next real feud. 2019 was mostly spent in his uneventful US title run.

Nah actually he was in the Elimination Chamber, challenged Kofi at ER and at the Smackville show.

And was involved in the feud that got the most screen time leading into WrestleMania with Rollins and KO before his injury this year

lmao Smackville. A glorified house show that took place two weeks after extreme rules. Give me a break.

A push is a push fam. No matter how you slice it, he's been upper midcard at worst his entire run. :draper2

Yes... yes it is. :lol At that time he was one of the most pushed acts on Smackdown. I'm not saying he was ever gonna win the title or anything, but the main thing that's held him back in his WWE career in injuries and age, and regardless of that he was never pushed strong at first and then forgotten out. His push has been consistent his entire run on the main roster.

There are examples that support what you're saying. Shinsuke and Sami probably being the best examples of someone coming in hot and then falling by the wayside.
