I'm super suspicious about that stipulation. I'm still fully expecting some kind of shit housery to happen but it also could just simply be them putting Drew over clean as a whistle in his home country.

Just heard a theory that I like and now think it's very plausible. Punk basically does the Bret angle where he tries to screw Drew again but this time accidentally whacks Priest with a chair or something and actually gives Drew the win by mistake

See I was thinking something along those lines but slightly different. I still fully expect TJD to get involved in the match, Punk comes out and inadvertently costs Drew. My only sticking point with that is I don't know why Punk would want to come out to combat TJD.

I do hope neither happen tho

My idea is either she helps Priest retain, and Drew just doesn’t get it yet, but that’s a bad call tbh.

The other, is she tries helping Priest, but ends up being more of a distraction when he’s just yelling at her to go away, and stay out of their business, which gives Drew time to set up the Claymore, and when he turns around, Drew hits it to win. If they go with either, this is the way, as Drew definitely should win.

I mean there's every chance Drew doesn't win because Gunther has the title shot at SummerSlam but I think it would be a really poor choice to blueball the UK fans twice with having Drew not win the title. This one would be even worse with it being Scotland.

My only logic for them not putting it on Drew is because they don't want to do him and Punk for the title and back themselves into a corner.

I asked because I was thinking about Gunther's shot at Summerslam. Was going to ask would they really want to do heel vs heel with Drew.

But it's heel vs heel either way I guess. Unless a Babyface wins MITB and cashes in before Summerslam
