Redknapp was rubbish in his first run as Pompy (Portsmouth0 manager but has been great in the past season turning Pompy from relegation scrappers to uefa cup contenders. It may be to do with the different owners since he came back with more cash, even though he has used minimal funds (Last season).
As for Sven, he has proved to be a hit at Man city and has made some interesting signings which will help City get the goals they didn't score last season.
As for Heinze, I hope he comes to Liverpool but I could see the deal being delayed until January or even worse, he moves to Juve or AC Milan

1) it will never have the spirit of anfield. the atmosphere will never be duplicated no matter what.
2) yea, it'll hold 60000. and if they exanded it to 100,000 it will still get a full show.
3) the thing isnt bad, its just not the same. it'll help profit to get more players though...

Its the fans that make Anfield what it is, not the stadium. Still, the "this is anfield" sign would be gone
yeah i know anfield had a mythical aura to it,but if a bigger stadium means more gate money,better players and us beating man utd regularly then i'm all for it.
Anfield is a historical stadium that will be remembered for a long time but at the end of the day the owners will want a bigger stadium, which = more income, which is more inportant than atmousphere but that will probably be quickly developed into the new stadium and be even louder with the extra seats.

Today is the Asian Final between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
As a summery, i think the biggest shock was Australia's performance, i thought that they will reach the final and play against Iran or Japan. But anyway, lets see what kind of perforamance those two teams will bring out tonight. I think Saudi will win it as they are more experienced in playing cup finals and strong league in Asia.

Rumours now that Michael Ballack might join Real Madrid. Well, i think Mourinho used Ballack as a central to Defensive midfielder, which is not the best position for Ballack to give his best performance.
And i think that in Real Madrid they want him to play Zidan's role; ie. to be attacking midfielder (Which is the best position for Ballack to play in).
