I love that Punk promo you chose. That was pretty much the beginning for him as a tweener. That promo had everyone just floored.

It always gets me how people mention how The Rock did or didn't write his promos so John Cena is better or whatever. The fact is that whether or not The Rock wrote his promos is irrelevant. Could anyone just go out in the ring and deliver them like him? Denzel Washington is told exactly what to say in every movie he's ever done, does that make him anything short of a phenomenal actor? No. It's all about the delivery and these guys did it the best.

I really liked those ECW promos too, it seems like almost everyone who stepped foot in that promotion had their best promos there. I still think Austin evolved more in WWE and became better vocally in front of a live crowd. Those ECW promos are still legendary though.

It was always going to be a toss-up between Rock and Austin for #1, so nice way of justifying your opinion. Also, props for having Cena in there, as I hear so many people say he's bad on the mic. and I'm like "what?!" You want to see bad on the mic, go find a Sheamus promo.
