Saturday Nights Main Event was like SummerSlam before and after SummerSlam was invented. It was huge and it had WrestleMania caliber matches on the show. Hogan vs Andre drew 38 Million viewers back in 1987. The most watched wrestling episode in history.

Saturday Night's Main Event was a spectacular, it received huge ratings and regulated Hulk Hogan's claim as a huge television draw.
It is defunct now, so children have little to no recollection. I've personally seen how 'over' Duggan was, as he had the ability to potentially make the company money. Unfortunately, there was Hogan (and then Warrior).
