I'd expect a 12 hour cycle for picks to be a bit better for getting people to pick compared to 8. Way I see it is that on average you have 8 hours asleep, 8 hours at work or school, and 8 hours elsewhere. So catch someone at a time where they are not online, you'd be kinda boned.
See, it's a tough situation because your point makes sense and I wish we could have had this talk sooner but at the same time, he did sign up with that in play. It's one of the reasons that I was shocked to get sign ups because of the eight hour rule, I thought people would be turned off by it. When me and Jeffry did the league, it was 15 minutes each and I didn't like that.And it's not like I didn't give out alternative solutions of if you knew you couldn't make it, however you send me who you want to pick and if it's not taken I'll call it for you. You've already did that yourself with your number one draft pick. So as much as I respect Jet for what he did with his Xbox league, I have to be stubborn on the ruling.
We should have just had a mandatory "these are my preferred picks" thing to be submitted to you if we wanted to sign up. Would have made things easier. Oh well there is always next time
