WWF "Xtreme" Smackdown 02/01/2001 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs. The Rock vs. Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon)

Rock wins a fourway match on Raw to earn this title shot. And Triple H did nothing but to earn his, AWESOME. Rock and Triple H are out first and decide not to wait for Angle as they start throwing punches right away. Angle finally appears and charges in the ring but Rock tosses him back out then DDTs Triple H for a two count. Angle climbs in the ring again but Rock wails on him then knocks him back over the ropes with the Smackdown. Triple H drills Rock with the Pedigree and covers but Angle pulls Rock out to the floor to prevent the pinfall. Angle decks Rock on the floor then climbs in the ring but Triple H clotheslines him back out over the ropes. Suddenly the glass breaks as Steve Austin makes his way down the ramp to ringisde carrying a cooler of beer. Triple H glares out at Austin but allows Angle to come up from behind and plant him with the Olympic Slam! Angle covers Triple H but Rock makes it back in to save it while Austin takes a seat near the announce table. In the ring Rock is up and goes to whip Angle but Angle counters into a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count. Rock starts to fight back when Angle regains control but then charges but runs into an belly-to-belly throw. Rock covers but Triple H breaks it up as we see Austin watching the match on the floor while enjoying his beer. Triple H stomps Rock down and hits a suplex then climbs up to the top rope when Austin gets his attention, allowing Rock to cut him off and throw him to the mat. Rock whips Triple H and Triple H flies over the ropes. Angle suplexes Rock while Austin goes over and stands over Triple H then places a beer in front of his face. Austin heads back over to his seat and watches as Triple H regains his senses and swats the beer can away. In the ring Rock hammers away Angle when Angle rakes his face but Rock comes back with a Dragon legwhip. Rock then puts Angle in the Sharpshooter but Triple H is in and nails Rock with a DDT before Angle can submit. All three men are down when Triple H covers Rock but only gets two then struggles to get back to his feet. Rock is up as well and gets in hits then goes for a whip but Triple H reverses and connects with the high knee. Rock grabs Triple H for a Rock Bottom but Triple H fights out of it and hits a neckbreaker for a near fall. Angle wails away on Triple H who hits a knee to the chest then goes for a whip and kicks Angle in the face. Angle catches Triple H with a belly-to-belly suplex but Rock is now up and plants Angle with the Rock Bottom! Rock covers Angle when Stephanie tries to come in and that distracts Earl Hebner from counting the pinfall. Stephanie taunts Rock before he grabs her by the hair but Triple H nails him from behind then goes for a whip. Rock hits him with a spinebsuter then readies the People’s Elbow when Angle hits Rock with the Olympic Slam. Angle covers Rock but again Stephanie distracts Hebner before he turns back to count the pin and only gets two. Angle yells at Hebner for not counting the pin when Triple H nails him from behind and gets in a pair of rights. Triple H goes for a whip and Angle reverses him into a corner then goes for a gutwrench but can’t get him up. Triple H takes Angle down by the legs but Angle kicks him away and right into Hebner, giving us out ref bump. Angle whips Triple H bit lowers the head and Triple H hits the facebuster. Triple H sets Angle up for the Pedigree but first takes a moment to taunt Austin, allowing Angle to nail him below the belt. Angle rolls Triple H up while Austin goes over and slaps Hebner’s hand to the mat three times. I guess that counts as the three count so Angle retains. *** Awesome 7 minute sprint of a main event in the clear attempt to get rating. A ton of nearfalls, almost the entire fucking match was nearfalls, really. The only thing holding it back was the Silly ending.

WWF Raw Is War 02/05/2001 - WWF Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy (w/Lita)

Jeff isn't in Matt’s corner tonight since he’s still recovering from the Bubbabomb off the stage through the table on Smackdown. However before the match begins some music cues up and Dean Malenko comes out to the stage, making eyes at Lita. Matt and Jericho lockup to start and jockey for position then end up in a corner where they’re forced to break. Jericho locks up with Matt again and gets a headlock and a hammerlock but Matt slings him through the ropes. Jericho trips Matt and pulls him out to the floor then hits some chops before suplexing him right onto the floor. Jericho tosses Matt back in the ring then climbs to the top rope and connects with a flying elbow for a two count. Jericho kicks away at Matt then whips him into a corner and hits a clothesline followed by a backbreaker. Jericho sets Matt on the top rope then goes up but Matt throws him back down then hits a flying clothesline. Matt gets in his shots and goes for a whip, Jericho reverses but Matt comes back with a running clothesline. Matt goes for another whip, Jericho reverses into a corner but eats a boot. Matt hops to the middle rope and hits the guillotine legdrop when Malenko starts down the ramp but backs away when Matt looks his direction. Matt rams Jericho into a turnbuckle then climbs to the top rope but Jericho causes him to straddle the buckle. Jericho then ties Matt in a tree of woe and stomps away at him before the referee orders Jericho to back off. However Lita climbs to the top and takes Jericho out with a huricanrana and Matt covers him but only gets two. Matt goes for a whip, Jericho reverses it when Matt tries to go for the Twist of Fate but Jericho fights it off. Jericho then suplxes Matt over the ropes but hotshots himself on the ropes as well and both guys are out of it. Lita tries to help Matt up when Malenko comes down and nails Matt from behind, taking Lita out as well. Malenko tosses Matt back in the ring and the unaware Jericho hits the bulldog and the Lionsault for the pin. *** Really fun back and forth 5 minute match. Not as good as the Benoit/Hardyz IC Title matches. But Benoit is better than Jericho, and always brings the intensity.

Post Match : Malenko starts advancing on the hurt Lita on the floor but Matt goes out and pounds away on him. Perry Saturn comes out and attacks Matt but Jericho comes to Matt’s aid and manages to fight off both Radicalz. Jericho heads back in the ring and dares both guys to come and face him but behind him is…Eddie Guerrero! Eddie jumps Jericho from behind and stomps away at him as Malenko and Saturn join in for a 3-on-1 beatdown. Matt tries to help Jericho out but Malenko decks him while Saturn plants Jericho with a butterfly powerbomb. Eddie lays the IC belt over Jericho’s face then climbs to the top and hits the Frog splash right on the belt! The Radicalz then head out triumphant with Eddie showing Jericho that he’s back from his injury in a big way. :mark:

WWF Raw Is War 02/05/2001 - WWF World Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz vs. The Undertaker & Kane

Kane starts for his side against D’Von and gets in the first shots then plants him with a sidewalk slam. Kane whips D’Von into a corner but eats a boot and D’Von gets in his offense until Kane hits a back suplex. Kane goes for an elbowdrop but misses and D’Von hits a dropkick followed by an elbowdrop for a two count. Bubba tags in and gets in some right hands then goes for a whip but Kane reverses it and hits a backdrop. Kane climbs to the top rope and connects with the flying elbowedrop then covers but D’Von makes the save. Taker tags in and pounds away at Bubba in a corner then whips him into another corner and clotheslines him. Taker whips Bubba back the other way but eats a boot then Bubba comes out but he runs into a clothesline. Taker grabs Bubba’s arm and walks the top rope then clubs him in the back and whips him, hitting a big boot. Taker goes for an elbowdrop but misses just like Kane earlier and Bubba comes back with a Russian legsweep. Bubba trips Taker by the leg and sets him up while D’Von climbs to the top rope and hits the “Wassup” headbutt. Kane then comes in but the Dudleyz catch him with a double flapjack before clotheslining him over the ropes. The Dudleyz whip Taker looking to hit the 3D but Kane trips Bubba from the floor while Taker DDT’s D’Von. Taker covers D’Von but Bubba barely saves it then heads out while Taker tags Kane to take over on D’Von. Kane pummels D’von in a corner and hits a suplex followed by a legdrop then covers but Bubba saves it again. D’Von starts to fight back and comes off the ropes but Kane boots him down then tags Taker to take over. D’Von fights back and whips Taker but Taker hits a flying clothesline and again Bubba has to make the save. Taker whips D’Von but lowers the head and D’Von hits a swinging neckbreaker then makes the tag to Bubba. Bubba exchanges punches with Taker who then whips him and Bubba kicks the face but Taker no-sells it. Bubba hits a back suplex for a two then whips Taker into a corner and charge but runs right into a choke. D’Von breaks up the chokeslam when Kane comes in and all four men duke it out then spill out to the floor. The referee tries to restore order when Kane scoops D’Von up but D’Von slips out and shoves him into the post. Bubba and Taker roll back in the ring and Bubba whips Taker but Taker comes back and hits the chokeslam. Suddenly Edge & Christian run in brandishing chairs and look for the ConChairo on Taker but Taker ducks it. Taker fights off E&C then grabs a chair and nails Christian with it before he and Edge can escape from the ring. The referee is back in and Taker covers Bubba … but instead of counting the pin the referee calls for the bell? Apparently the referee saw Taker holding a chair and assumed he used it on Bubba so he’s DQ'ed the brothers. The referee then wisely beats it out of the ring while Taker and Kane glare at E&C for costing them the belts. *** This was actually really good. They got 9 minutes, and did a really good of telling a story of "Big men brothers vs. Two tough motherfuckers" but needed a real finish after going that long.

WWF Raw Is War 02/05/2001 - Rikishi & Haku vs. Too Cool

Don’t know why Rikishi is facing Too Cool again since he already beat both guys single-handedly not too long ago. Rikishi shoves Grandmaster Sexay down to start us off and Sexay wails away on him then goes for a whip, Rikishi reverses it and Sexay comes back with a foream. Sexay goes for a Sunset Flip but can’t get Rikishi over and Rikishi goes for the sitdown splash but Sexay dodges it and tags in Scotty 2 Hotty who dropkicks Rikishi’s face. The Too Cool guys follow up with their combo elbowdrop then Scotty gets in his shots. Scotty comes off the ropes and blocks a hiptoss but Rikishi clotheslines him down then Haku tags in and helps Rikishi hit a double thrust to the throat. Haku works Scotty over in a corner and caps off with a headbutt then hits a chop followed by another headbutt. Rikishi tags in and Scotty tries to fight back but Rikishi stops that with a right then whips him hard into a corner and goes for the running butt splash but Scotty dodges it. Sexay tags in and peppers Rikishi with rights then goes for a whip, Rikishi reverses him into a corner but eats a boot. Scotty nails Rikishi with a superkick but Haku superkicks him in response and tries to follow him out to the floor but Sexay crotches him on the rope. Rikishi is down as Sexay climbs to the top for the Hip Hop Drop but Haku causes him to straddle the buckle. Scotty is in and bulldogs Rikishi then follows up with the Worm. Haku tosses Scotty out through the ropes and goes after him on the floor while Sexay recovers and this time nails Rikishi with the Hip Hop Drop. Sexay covers Rikishi but pulls up and goes after Haku on the apron instead of getting the three for the win. Haku nails Sexay with a shot to the throat then Rikishi hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Rikishi drags Sexay to a corner and climbs up looking for the Banzai Drop when Scotty tries to stop him. Rikishi headbutts Scotty away then proceeds with the Banzai Drop on Sexay and that’ll do it for this match. *1/2 FUCKING AWESOME semi-squash. Too Cool bumped awesomely on everything, and made a brief awesome comeback, before they were ultimately murdered by DAT ASS.

WWF Raw Is War 02/05/2001 - Al Snow (w/Head) vs. Chris Benoit

Both men lockup to start and end up in a corner where the referee forces a break but Benoit gets in a shot. Benoit chops and kicks away at Snow in the corner but Snow reverses positions and gets in his offense. Snow goes for a whip but Benoit counters and throws him shoulder-first into the ringpost. Benoit goes for a whip but Snow reverses him into a corner and nails him from behind. Snow goes for a whip but Benoit wrenches his arm then tosses Snow through the ropes. Benoit goes out and Snow fights back but Benoit pulls Snow into the steps and stomps away at Snow’s shoulder before tossing him back in the ring and hitting an armbar takedown. Benoit whips Snow and goes for the shoulder again but Snow slides under him and hits a pump-handle suplex. Snow wails on Benoit while favoring his injured shoulder then whips him and connects with a clothesline. Snow whips Benoit into a backdrop and slams him then climbs to the top rope and nails him with the moonsaults. Snow then climbs up to top again and connects with a second moonsaults then covers him … but only gets two? Benoit kicked out of two moonsaults. Snow headbutts Benoit’s shoulder and goes for another whip but Benoit reverses him into a corner. Snow slides to stop himself but Benoit slaps him in the Crossface and Snow is forced to give it up. *3/4 GOD DAMMIT Benoit squash matches are AWESOME it's up their with Vader squashes. Benoit's arm work was damn good and Snow working the match with his arm just hanging made it that much better.

WWF Raw Is War 02/05/2001 - No-DQ Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin & Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) vs. The Rock & Kurt Angle (w/Trish Stratus)

Vince set this up in the opening segment of the match mainly cause he had nothing better to do. Austin jumps Angle after his posing in the corners to start us off while Rock and Triple H head out to the corners. Austin stomps Angle down then whips him and hits an elbow and follows up with an elbowdrop. Austin whips Angle again and hits the Thesz Press followed by the right hands then sets Angle on the top rope then goes up and hits a superplex. Austin slaps Triple H to tag him in and Triple H gets in Austin’s face about it but that allows Angle to tag in Rock and Rock wails away on Triple H. Rock then goes for the Smackdown but Triple H jabs the eyes to stop it then gets in his offense in a corner. Triple H whips Rock but lowers the head and Rock kicks the face and this time is able to hit the Smackdown. Rock goes for a whip and Triple H reverses him into a corner but Rock comes out with a clothesline. Rock whips Triple H but lowers the head and Triple H hits the facebuster but Rock comes back with a DDT. Rock readies for the Rock Bottom but Angle slaps Rock’s back to tag himself in the two of them have a chat. Rock eventually heads the corner but not before he decks Angle and Triple H follows it up with a snap suplex. Triple H slaps Austin to tag him back in and Austin chokes Angle on the middle rope then hits the straddle. Austin whips Angle and hits a spuebuster but instead of covering he whips him again and goes for the Stunner. Angle shoves Austin away but Austin backdrops him over the ropes then goes and drops Angle on the barricade. Triple H watches this go on when Rock brings him in the ring the hard way then plants him with a spinebuster. Rock readies again to hit the Rock Bottom but Angle makes it back in the ring and nails Rock from behind. Angle also decks Triple H … when The Big Show comes down the ramp? The heck? Angle tosses Rock out through the ropes and Show attacks Rock on the floor and hits a short-arm clothesline then finishes Rock with the Final Cut. Show departs while Rock is down and out, much to Angle’s delight when Austin nails him from behind to remind him who his opponent is. Austin tosses Angle through the ropes when Triple H goes out and rams Angle into the announce table. Austin decides to ram Angle into the table as well and the two take turns ramming Angle into the table while Rock gets helped to the back by a group of referees. (Wait didn't Jericho do this 2 weeks ago?) Anyway everyone heads back in the ring but for whatever reason Earl Hebner thinks that Triple H is the legal man. Triple H goes for a whip but Angle reverses it and Triple H tumbles out after Austin pulls down the top rope. Austin goes out to help his partner back to his feet but Triple H shoves him away then rolls back in the ring. Angle hammers away on Triple H and whips him into a corner but Triple H comes back with a neckbreaker. Triple H crawls toward his corner looking to tag but Austin walks over to another corner and holds out an arm. Angle plants Triple H with a belly-to-belly suplex while Austin goes back and this time looks ready to tag in. Angle goes out and brings a chair in the ring but Triple H cuts him off and drills him with the Pedigree. Triple H covers Angle but Austin comes in and ends up distracting Hebner from counting the pin for his partner. Triple H is furious and glares at Austin who flips him off so Triple H takes a swing at him but Austin ducks it. Austin flips Triple H the double bird and Triple H gets all worked up when Angle nails him below the belt. Angle whacks Triple H with the chair then covers and gets the three with no attempt at a save from Austin. Angle celebrates but Austin takes him out with a Stunner then departs the ring while calling for his beers. Stephanie checks on Triple H and Trish tends to Angle while Austin chugs his beer on the stage in celebration. *** Really fun 8 minute match that did a good job building the Austin/Triple H feud while hinting at the other pay-per-view main event. And i realized they didn't let Rock and Austin touch each other.

WWF Smackdown 02/08/2001 - The Hardy Boyz (w/Lita) vs. Chris Benoit & Perry Saturn (w/Terri Runnels)

Once the participants file out to the ring when once again Dean Malenko makes his way out to the stage. Not surprisingly the Hardyz are distracted allowing Benoit and Saturn to punk them out to get things started. Saturn tosses Matt through the ropes then helps Benoit double-team Jeff and whip him into a double elbow. Benoit heads out to the corner when Jeff comes back with a jawbreaker on Saturn. Jeff goes for a whip, Saturn reverses it but Jeff chopblocks the knee then slides out to the floor while Matt clotheslines Saturn. Matt unloads with rights on Saturn then comes off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Matt goes for a whip, Saturn reverses but eats a boot and Matt hops to the middle rope and hits the guillotine. Matt covers Saturn but Benoit saves it so Matt decks Benoit but Saturn plants him with an exploder suplex. Benoit tags in but runs into an armdrag then Matt whips him into a corner and nails him with a gutwrench suplex. Matt goes for the ropes when Terri grabs his ankle and Matt ducks a clothesline from Saturn but Benoit nails him. Benoit follows up with a snap suplex that gets a two count as Malenko continues to look on from ringside. Benoit tags Saturn and holds Matt on his knee while Saturn climbs to the top and hits a flying kneedrop. Saturn covers Matt but Jeff barely makes the save so Saturn rams Matt upside down into the turnbuckles. Saturn whips Matt and hits a superkick then tags Benoit in and Benoit whips Matt and hits an Atomic Drop. Benoit slams Matt then climbs to the top rope and connects with the diving headbutt but hurts himself as well. Saturn tags in and headbutts Matt then sets him on the top rope and goes for a superplex but Matt fights him off and hits a moonsault. Matt crawls toward his corner when Benoit tags in and cuts Matt off from making his tag but Matt elbows him away and makes the hot tag to Jeff. Jeff hits a dropkick followed by an inverted bulldog and Saturn comes in but Jeff takes him out with a headscissors. Jeff nails Benoit with a spinning heelkick then takes Saturn down and hits the double legdrop but Benoit nails him from behind. Benoit whips Jeff into a corner but Jeff runs up the turnbuckles and hits the Whipser in the Wind. The Hardys turn and plant Saturn with a double flapjack. Both guys whip Benoit into his partner in a corner and Matt drops down into position as Jeff goes for Poetry in Motion when Benoit ducks it but Saturn takes the hit. Matt takes Benoit out with the Twist of Fate then clotheslines both Saturn and himself over the ropes while Jeff climbs to the top rope and hits the Swanton Bomb on Benoit. Terri tries to come in and distracts the referee so Lita pulls Terri out when Malenko grabs her. Matt nails Malenko but Saturn knocks Matt into the barrier. Jeff dives off the barrier with a clothesline on Saturn but Malenko throws him shoulder-first into the ringpost. Malenko tosses Jeff back in the ring where Benoit slaps on the Crossface and Jeff is forced to give it up. ***1/4 Nothing special but still the usual good match from these guys. They did have a AWESOME match on SD 3/16/2000.

WWF Smackdown 02/08/2001 - WWF World Tag Team Titles: The Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian

All four men duke it out to start but the Dudleyz get the advantage then whip E&C and knock them both down. E&C bail out to the floor but Bubba brings Christian back in the hard way then whips him and hits a backdrop. Bubba slams Christian by the hair for a two count then tags D’Von and D’Von whips Christian into a clothesline. D’Von whips Christian when Edge makes a blind tag and Christian goes for a crossbody but D’Von ducks it and Edge takes the hit instead. D’Von clotheslines both E&C then whips Edge into a corner and clotheslines him. D’Von decks Christian then hits Edge with the count-along punches but Christian snaps his neck on the top rope. Edge comes out with a heelkick then hammers away on D’Von and hits a dropkick but only gets a two count. Christian tags in and whips D’Von then hits him with a Russian legsweep and covers him but Bubba saves it. Edge comes in without a tag and whips D’Von into a corner then eats a boot but comes back with a heelkick. Christian tags in and sets D’Von on the top rope before tagging Edge back in. Christian climbs onto Edge’s shoulders as they set up for the stackplex but D’Von fights them off then clotheslines Christian, knocking both guys over. D’Von makes the tag to Bubba and Bubba pummels Edge then whips him and plants him with a sidewalk slam. Bubba hiptosses Christian and hot shots Edge on the top rope then plants Christian with the Bubbabomb. Bubba slams Edge and sets him up while D’Von climbs to the top rope and connects with the Wassup headbutt. Bubba is about to send D’Von out for a table when Christian charges at them and runs into a double flapjack. D’Von whips Bubba into an Avalanche on Christian in a corner but turns as Edge nails him with the spear. D’Von nails Edge with a neckbreaker when Christian comes off the ropes and both men clothesline each other. Edge is to his feet first and climbs to the top rope but Bubba cuts him off then goes up and hits a superplex. Christian is up and drills Bubba with the Unprettier but D’Von clotheslines Christian and himself over the ropes. Edge and Bubba are down in the ring while D’Von and Christian are on the floor … when sure enough Kane’s pyro goes off as The Undertaker and Kane make their way down the ramp. Edge drapes an arm over Bubba and the referee counts the 1..2..but Taker goes in the ring and pulls Edge off then chokeslams him and gets a DQ’ed called, getting revenge for E&C spoiling their chance at the belts on Raw. **3/4 Nothing special but still the usual good match from 4 guys. And the predictable Taker/KANE run-in kinda hurt this.

WWF Smackdown 02/08/2001 - Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley) vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho gets on the mic and chastises Triple H for not having confidence in him for the representatives match and he may not be Triple H’s representative so he’ll settle for being his personal butt-kicker. Jericho also mentions this match came as a result of a lottery and that leads into some jokes about Stephanie, as usual. Triple H goes right to work on Jericho and whips him but Jericho comes back with a flying forearm. Jericho gets in his offense and stomps Triple H down in a corner then whips him into a corner but eats a boot. Jericho takes Triple H down by the legs and goes for the Walls of Jericho already, Triple H fights out of it and tries to set Jericho up for the Pedigree in response but Jericho backdrops him over the ropes then knocks him off the apron with a springboard shoulderblock. Jericho goes for a whip on the floor which Triple H reverses but Jericho springboards off the steps and hits a forearm. Jericho tosses Triple H back in the ring then climbs to the top rope and goes for a missle dropkick but Triple H swats it away. Triple H hits a clothesline and stomps Jericho down in a corner then chokes him and plants him with a vertical suplex for a two count. Triple H chokes Jericho on the middle rope then distracts the referee while Stephanie gets in a choke as well. Stephanie goes for a slap when Jericho blocks it and grabs her by the hair but Triple H nails him from behind while Stephanie tumbles to the floor. Triple H whips Jericho but lowers the head and Jericho kicks the face. Jericho whips Triple H but he lowers the head and Triple H hits the facebuster followed by the high knee for two. Triple H hops to the middle rope but Jericho cuts him off with a dropkick then goes up and hits a Frankensteiner. Jericho goes for a whip, Triple H reverses but Jericho hits a spinning heelkick followed by a pair of clotheslines. Jericho hits a chop and goes for a whip, Triple H reverses it but Jericho comes back with a rollup for a near fall. Jericho goes for a whip, Triple H reverses into a corner but eats an elbow and Jericho climbs to the top rope and connects with a flying elbow but only gets two. Triple H comes back with a hangman’s neckbreaker then goes for a whip but Jericho reverses and hits the bulldog. Eddie Guerrero makes his way out but Jericho decks him on the apron. Jericho then goes for the Lionsault but Triple H blocks it with the knees then hits the Pedigree and it’s over. The Helmsley's celebrate while Eddie climbs in the ring stands over Jericho while giving him the business. However Steve Austin comes out to the ring with a beer in each hand as Cole reminds us of zero tolerance. Austin offers Triple H a beer but Triple H refuses while Eddie says he’d happily accept a beer and gets ignored. Eddie gets in Austin’s face saying he’d like a beer and Austin offers him one … then lays him out with a Stunner. Austin then insists that Triple H share a beer and they stand nose-to-nose when Jericho takes Triple H down and puts him in the Walls of Jericho. Triple H is tapping out while Austin trash talks him before placing a beer can in his face then stomps it, spraying beer in Triple H’s face. Austin gives Triple H a beer bath then heads out having gotten another one over on Triple H who has yet to get one back on Austin in this feud. **1/2 Another good match from these two, HHH's bumping was great in this and so was Jericho's comeback.

WWF Smackdown 02/15/2001 - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit

Austin gets in the first shots and hammers Benoit in a corner but Benoit reverses positions for his shots. Austin regains control and stomps Benoit down in the corner and Benoit bails out to the floor for a breather. Benoit hops on the apron and rams Austin into the buckles then goes in and hits a snap armwringer takedown. Benoit kicks away at Austin then hits some chops and goes for a whip but Austin reverses him into a corner. Austin clotheslines Benoit from behind and lays the boots to him then whips him and hits a knee to the chest. Austin hits a suplex followed by a vertical suplex but does rub his chest to sell how much Benoit’s chops stung. Austin chokes Benoit on the middle rope and hits the straddle then covers but Benoit grabs the bottom rope. Austin goes for a suplex but Benoit floats over and hits more chops then goes for a whip but Ausitn reverses. Austin reverses it and goes for the Stunner, Benoit shoves him away but Austin comes back with a clothesline. Austin goes for the Stunner again when Benoit counters and goes for the Crossface but can’t get it locked in. Benoit eventually gets the Crossface locked in and Austin grabs the rope but Benoit refuses to break the hold. The referee pulls Benoit off so Benoit continues stomping away at Austin in a corner and hits another chop. Austin catches a kick then goes into a STF but Benoit grabs the rope. Triple H makes his way down the ramp and watches from ringside as Austin points him out to the referee before kicking Benoit below the belt. Austin goes out and rams Benoit’s leg into the apron but Benoit kicks him away and over the announce table. Austin tries to recover when Benoit clotheslines him back over the table then unloads on him with right hands. Austin fights back with chops but Benoit rams him into the timekeeper’s table then tosses him back in the ring. Both men exchange shots when Austin whips Benoit but Benoit kicks the face and follows up with a clothesline. Benoit whips Austin into a corner and hits a suplex then climbs to the top rope and hits the diving headbutt. Benoit goes to cover him when Austin surprises him with a rollup but Triple H distracts the referee from seeing it. Austin glares at Triple H when Benoit nails him from behind then throws him shoulder-first into the ringpost. Ausitn tumbles out to the floor as Triple H walks towards him and grabs a chair…but just slides it in the ring. Benoit brings Austin in the ring then grabs the chair as Triple H distracts the referee but Austin cuts Benoit off. Benoit comes back and readies the chair again but Austin nails him with the Stunner and that gets the three! Triple H is not happy that his plan backfired while Austin gives him the double bird for his troubles.

***1/2 They have another amazing 8 minute match, although not as good as the first one. They had a neat bit of storytelling with Benoit getting thrown off in the first match by Austin holding his own on the mat, so he went right to beating the shit out of Austin here. Great intensity and insane hate filled brawling as well as a ton of great counters. Just a shame it ended with a out of nowhere finish.

WWF Smackdown 02/15/2001 - WWF Hardcore Title: Raven vs. The Big Show

Raven brings his shopping cart of plunder out with him and greets Show with a trash can as he slides in the ring but it has no effect. So Raven tries hitting Show with a road sign and a broom handle with the same result. Raven then tries nailing Show with a trash can lid and a kitchen sink but both those weapons are just as effective. Raven sprays Show with a fire extinguisher then tries to whip him but Show easily flings him over the ropes then pounds on him on the floor. The ninja woman appears and tries attacking Show with a PVC pipe, getting Show’s attention while Raven hits him with a stop sign. Raven tries ramming his shopping cart into Show but Show stops that with a boot and knocks Raven aside with a right. Show then throws the cart at Raven but Raven dodges it then tries fleeing back in the ring. Show goes after Raven then whips him and connects with a thrust kick. Suddenly the Kaientai guys come in with Fuanki covering Raven to steal the pin but Show grabs him in a choke. Taka climbs to the top and leaps off but Show catches him with the other hand and hits a double chokeslam. Show turns his attention back toward Raven when Albert suddenly runs in and nails Show with the bicycle kick. Albert does the same to Raven then covers him but Show breaks it up then clotheslines Albert over the ropes. K-Kwik slides in trying to steal the pin but Show Show pulls him off then chokeslams him right onto a trash can. Raven grabs another trash can but Show punches it in his face and sends Raven tumbling out through the ropes. Val Venis appears and covers Raven on the floor but Show saves it then rams Val back-first into the ringpost. Raven desperately tries to escape into the crowd but Show chases him down and throws him into a guardrail. Show signals for a chokeslam when Tazz tries to cover Raven but Show stops it and drops Tazz onto the rail. Show follows Raven to the back and rams him into an anvil case then tosses him onto a nearby basketball hoop. Hardcore Holly appears and nails Show but Show headbutts him while Steve Blackman is working Raven over. Show grabs Blackman but Hardcore breaks a 2×4 over Show’s back then helps Blackman double-team him. Blackman goes back to Raven but Show tosses Hardcore into the grandstands then throws Blackman into a wall. Show turns back to Raven as the ninja woman appears and helps Raven escape with Show stalking after them. We then get replays of everything that’s happened so I guess this match is over even though no pin was scored. *1/2 This was a ton of fun, but the wrestling was trash.

WWF Smackdown 02/15/2001 - The Rock vs. Triple H

Steve Austin comes out and joins the announcers for commentary since Triple H got involved in his match earlier. Triple H is out next and has a stare down with Austin as we get another reminder of Vince’s zero tolerance order. Triple H meets Rock on the apron and Rock gets the advantage until Triple H stops him with a knee to the chest. Triple H goes for a whip but Rock sends him into the barrier then clotheslines him and rams him into the steps. Triple H drops Rock onto the announce table and follows it up with a clothesline then glares back at Austin. Triple H tosses Rock in the ring to start the match proper and Rock comes back but Triple H hits a neckbreaker. Triple H lays the boots to Rock and chokes him then hits a suplex and a kneedrop to the face for a two count. Triple H stomps Rock out to the apron and elbows him in the chest repeatedly while glaring at Austin each time. Triple H heads back in when Rock fights back and goes for a whip, Triple reverses but Rock hits a neckbreaker. Rock goes for another whip but Triple H reverses it and this time connects with a high knee that gets a near fall. Triple H unloads on Rock then climbs to the top rope but naturally Rock catches him and tosses him to the mat. Rock works Triple H over and caps it off with the Smackdown then drills him with a DDT that gets a two count. Rock whips Triple H and Triple H hits the facebuster then charges but Rock catches him with a spinebuster. Rock puts Triple H in the Sharpshooter but Triple H grabs the bottom rope and Earl Hebner calls for the break. Rock goes for the Sharpshooter again but Triple H kicks him away into Hebner, knocking him through the ropes. Rock goes for a whip, Triple H reverses it and Rock kicks the face but Triple H tosses him over the ropes. Rock tries to recover on the floor when Kurt Angle runs down and waffles Rock with the championship belt. Angle tosses Rock back in the ring then Triple H orders him to revive Hebner while he hits the Pedigree. Triple H covers Rock but Austin attacks Angle and throws him into the barrier before he rolls Hebner back in. Triple H goes over to yell at Austin before going for another Pedigree but Rock counters into the Rock Bottom. Now Austin rolls Hebner in as Rock covers Triple H but Angle is in to break it up and I guess that’s the match. *** This was their usual fun match '00 match, they've been doing this since '98 nothing new was added.

WWF Raw Is War 02/19/2001 - Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit

Austin suffered a Crossface and Rock suffered an Anklelock on Smackdown so here’s their shot at revenge. Triple H comes out to join the commentary and quivers when they show a replay of Stephanie’s Stunner earlier. The participants then file out with Austin giving Triple H a couple of beers to enjoy, making him even angrier. Rock starts off against Benoit and gets in the first shots then tags Austin in and Austin wrenches Benoit’s arm. Benoit tries to reverse it when Austin jabs the eyes to prevent it then whips him but Benoit kicks the face. Benoit hammers Austin with chops and goes for a whip but Austin reverses it and hits a knee to the chest. Austin stomps Benoit down in a corner then flips the double bird to Triple H who’s trying to restrain himself. Rock tags in and applies an armwringer when Benoit rakes the face but Rock comes back with a clothesline. Rock lays the boots to Benoit then rams him into Austin’s boot before tagging him in to take over on him. Benoit rakes Austin’s face and hits some more chops then tags Angle in but Angle runs right into a clothesline. Austin hits Angle with a vertical suplex followed by a second vertical suplex then tosses him through the ropes. Austin goes out and gets in Triple H’s face then rams Angle into the announce table and rolls him back in the ring. Rock tags in and hammers away on Angle then whips him and plants him with a Samoan Drop for a two count. Rock goes for a whip but Angle reverses and hits an elbow then gets in some stomps before tagging Benoit in. Rock counters a whip and tags Austin in and Austin hits some knees then puts Benoit in an Abdominal Stretch. Austin even grabs the ropes for leverage while laughing out at Triple H who seems on the verge of exploding. Earl Hebner sees Austin and orders a break but Benoit drives Austin into his corner where Angle tags himself in. Austin wails away on Angle and goes for a whip but Angle reverses and catches him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Benoit tags in and stomps away at Austin when Hebner pulls him away while Angle hits an elbow to the chest. Angle tags in and gets in his offense on Austin before tagging Benoit back in and Benoit hits a German suplex. Benoit holds on looking for a second German but Austin fights out of it and plants Benoit with a back suplex. Austin crawls toward his corner as Benoit tries to hold him back but Austin lunges and makes the tag to Rock. Rock wails away on Benoit then whips him and hits a belly-to-belly throw before getting in a shot on Angle. Rock hits Benoit with a spinebuster then goes into the Sharpshooter but Angle saves it before Benoit submits. Austin is in and tosses Angle through the ropes then goes out after him and continues antagonizing Triple H. In the ring Benoit gets Rock in the Crossface and Rock looks ready to tap but Austin makes it in to save it. Benoit stomps Rock out to the floor where Angle clotheslines him and stomps him before rolling him back in. Benoit whips Rock and hits a knee to the chest then tags Angle in and Angle hits a back suplex for a near fall. Benoit tags back in and hits some chops in a corner but Rock reverses positions and wails away on Benoit. Benoit comes back with a German suplex then holds on for a second German suplex followed by a third German. Benoit climbs to the top rope and goes for the diving headbutt to end this but misses it and both men are down. Both men start crawling toward the corner and Benoit tags in Angle while Rock makes the hot tag to Austin. Austin takes it to both men and knocks their heads together then whips Angle and plants him with a spinebsuter. Austin covers Angle but Benoit saves it then goes for a whip but Austin reverses it and hits the Thesz Press. Austin unloads on Benoit then goes for a Stunner but Benoit shoves him away and Austin clotheslines Angle. Austin shoulderblocks Angle in a corner while Rock knocks Benoit over the ropes with the Smackdown. Rock goes after Benoit and dukes it out on the floor while Austin whips Angle and hits him with the Stunner. Austin covers Angle … but Triple H suddenly pulls Hebner out of the ring then flips Austin the double bird. Austin gets in Triple H’s face on the apron and it looks like both men are about to commit double career suicide. Benoit brings Angle’s title belt in and takes a swing at Austin but Austin ducks and Triple H takes the hit instead. Austin punches Benoit right into a Rock Bottom and Rock covers Benoit as Hebner comes in to count the three. ***1/4 Awesome 12 minute tag. The heat segments on Rock and Austin were great and they both bumped great in this and the hot tags were just as good.

The Shield vs. Hell No and Ryback - TLC

Wow. JBL was right when he said we have a bright future ahead of us. What an awesome match. One of the most brutal matches I've seen in modern era WWE. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns can bang better than most of the roster. Ryback is also a beast for the amount of bumps he took here. Fucking awesome, love me some TLC.
