WWE No Way Out 2012 - Steel Cage Match: John Cena w/ Mr. McMahon vs. Big Show w/ John Laurinaitis
Big Show takes a swing at Cena, but Cena ducks. Big Show goes for the Choke Slam, but Cena escapes. Show finally gets his hands on Cena and slams him face-first into the cage. Show drags Cena back to his feet and again slams him face-first into the cage. Show steps on Cena's chest. Cena gets back to his feet next to the cage. Show goes for the Weapon of Mass Destruction, but Cena ducks, causing Show to punch the cage. Cena begins to climb, but Show pulls him back down. Show traps Cena in the corner and uses his boot to choke Cena against the top turnbuckle. Show goes for a chop, but Cena evades and drop kicks Show. Cena heads for the door, but Show throws him back into the cage. Show shoves Cena down to the mat, and he's essentially been in control the entire match. Cena fights back to his feet and goes for a running shoulder block, but Show levels him with a clothesline. Show again slams Cena face-first into the cage. Show steps on Cena's gut. Show traps Cena in the corner and lands a volley of body shots. Show charges Cena in the corner and connects with another clothesline. Cena slowly crawls toward the door, but Show steps on his head. That… looked like it hurt. Show charges Cena in the corner, but this time Cena gets his feet up. Cena catches Show with a bulldog out of the corner for a two count. Cena scrambles up the cage, but Show quickly follows up him and pulls him back down. Both men are standing on the top rope, but Cena shoves Show, causing him to crotch himself of the top rope. Cena again begins to climb out of the cage, but Show pulls him off, powerbombs him into the cage, and drops him with a face-first electric chair drop (from the powerbomb position). Show drags Cena to the corner and splashes him off the second rope for a LONG two count. Show grabs Cena by the throat, climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and lifts Cena up to the top rope by the throat. Show bounces Cena's head off the top of the cage, causing Cena to tumble back down to the mat. Show walks the top rope and flies off the middle of the top rope with an elbow drop, but Cena just manages to roll out of the way. The slow motion replays of the ring when Show landed are pretty damn impressive. Show slowly crawls toward the door, but Cena valiantly pulls him back into the ring. Cena dives for the door, but Show pulls him back into the ring. Show goes for the Choke Slam, but Cena counters and shoves Show face-first into the cage. Cena hits the ropes and drops Show with a flying shoulder block for a two count. Cena crawls toward the door, but John Laurinaitis shoves the referee out of the way and closes the door in Cena's face. Mr. McMahon opens the door for Cena, but Laurinaitis shoves McMahon from behind, causing McMahon to slam the door into Cena's face. Shown choke slams Cena, but Cena kicks out at two. Show goes for the Weapon of Mass Destruction, but Cena ducks, causing Show to take out the referee. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Show counters and connects with the Weapon of Mass Destruction. Cena is out cold, but so is the referee. Show heads for the door, but Brodus Clay makes his way down the ramp with a steel chair and promises to beat the hell out of Show if he walks out the door. Show begins to climb the cage, but Brodus stalks him on the outside. Show again begins to climb, so Santino Marella and Alex Riley charge the cage. The begin to climb the outside, but Show kicks them off. Zack Ryder charges the cage, but Show punches him through the cage. Show again begins to climb, but Kofi Kingston scales the cage and kicks Show off from the top. Cena slowly pulls himself toward the door, but Show pulls him back into the cage. Cena hits Show with the Attitude Adjustment and covers him, but the referee is still unconscious. Cena begins to climb the cage as Show tries to climb out the door. Laurinaitis tries to use the crutch to keep Cena from climbing down the cage, but Brodus detains Laurinaitis. Show continues to crawl out the door, but Cena climbs down the cage and gets to the floor first to win the match. After the match, Cena sets up Laurinaitis for the Attitude Adjustment. Mr. McMahon grabs a microphone and fires Laurinaitis, and Cena gives Laurinaitis the Attitude Adjustment through the Spanish announce table. ** I get the feeling I've seen this match before. Show is dominating a good chunk of the match. Cena is down and out, but Show makes one mistake and Cena is able to summon the powers of a God as is able to defy the odds. I can see why people think the WWE Championship isn't important as of late. Especially considering that Cena has been the main event for five PPVs in a row. I understand that he's the face of the company and is always going to be a main attraction
