WWF WrestleMania VII - WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Hulk Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter (c) (with General Adnan)

Slaughter leaves the ring as soon as it starts and Hogan chases him around it. Back in the ring, Slaughter talks some trash, then takes off his entrance clothes which for some reason he hasn't done already. The crowd is crazy hot for this as they lock up. Huge "USA!" chants start as Hogan is able to push Slaughter down. They lock up again, and this time Hogan locks on a side headlock. Hogan is able to knock Slaughter down witha big shoulder block, and he ends up outside the ring. Hogan follows him, and takes it to Slaughter outside the ring now. Adnan gets involved and Hogan goes after him but Slaughter hits Hogan with a steel chair from behind. Hogan no-sells it, and so do the ref's eyes apparently, and he throws Slaughter back in the ring. Slaughter catches Hogan with an eye poke, then takes control with some strikes. Slaughter is able to take Hogan down with a back elbow off the rebound. Hogan moves out of the way of an elbow though, then hits Slaughter with a big clothesline. Adnan is on the apron, and Hogan takes him down too. Hogan is able to hit a big Atomic Drop in the middle of the ring for a two count, and Slaughter goes back outside. Hogan rakes his back, then sends him back in the ring. Hogan slams slaughter into the turnbuckles a few times now, then hits a back body drop, and the crowd is so hot for Hogan. Slaughter is just taking a beating now as Hogan slingshots him into the turnbuckle post. Hogan goes up to the middle rope now, but Adnan distracts him, and Slaughter tries to fight back, but Hogan just hits a scoop slam, and then some elbows. Hogan goes up to the top rope this time, but Adnan grabs his foot, and Slaughter is able to slam him off. Slaughter hits a clothesline over the top rope, then takes it to Hogan outside. He hits in in the back with a steel chair that the ref no-sells again, lol then another one after the ref warned him. Did DiBiase pay off this ref or something? Slaughter chokes Hogan with a TV cable now, still outside of the ring. The crowd chants for Hogan extremely loud as they get back into the ring. Slaughter starts working over the back again, setting him up for the Camel Clutch I presume. Slaughter argues with the ref for a little while after a close two count, then goes right back to Hogan's back. Heenan says "In Iraq, you only have to count to two." :lmao Slaughter locks on a Boston Crab now and OH SHIT REGIS KNEW THE NAME OF THIS MOVE! Hogan is like a half an inch from the ropes, but doesn't grab them for some reason. Regis asks why Hogan doesn't go for the ropes, this guy is the most intelligent commentator we have. Hogan finally grabs the ropes, and Slaughter thought he won again when the ref broke up the hold. Slaughter works on the lower back some more, then goes up to the top rope himself and hits a diving knee drop to Hogan's back. Adnan distracts the ref for some reason as Slaughter goes for the pin. Slaughter goes outside to get the chair again and hits Hogan right in the head as Adnan distracts the ref at the right time this time. That got an extremely close two count, and man this crowd is so hot. Hogan's bleeding pretty bad now as he tarts trying to fight back some. Slaughter takes him down with a clothesline to kill his momentum, then locks on the Camel Clutch. Slaughter breaks it off because Hogan wouldn't give up, does some more work on the back, and then locks it on again. Hogan fights out of it to a huge pop from the crowd, but Slaughter is able to ram him into the turnbuckle. Slaughter asks for his flag now, and spits on Hogan. He lays the flag on top of Hogan to pin him, but Hogan kicks out and gets right to his feet and Hulks up. He rips up the flag, how disrespectful. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Hogan hits his big boot, followed by the leg drop for the win. Terrible feud, some odd logic, but a great crowd made this a fairly decent match. It should have been shorter, but you know I'm okay with that because it should have been worse.

WCW SuperBrawl I (1991) - NWA & WCW World Heavyweight Championships: Ric Flair (c) vs Tatsumi Fujinami (c)

I don't even want to try and talk about the confusion over the world championships here, so let's just get right to the match. We start off with Fujinami getting the best of Flair, but then Flair comes back with some chain wrestling. Fujinami matches him however, and they seem to be pretty even so far. Flair takes control with a cheap shot, then hits some of his chops. Fujinami fights out of the corner though, and hits Flair with some chops of his own before executing a back body drop. Fujinami locks on a Bow and Arrow stretch now, nice. Flair fights out of it though, then we get a near fall, kinda sloppy there. Fujinami continues to work on the lower back, locking on a Boston Crab now. Fujinami starts focusing on the legs instead now, while still working on the back as well. Flair fights back to his feet, and hits a Perfect-Plex, but his back is hurting pretty badly. Flair stops Fujinami's momentum with an eye poke, but Fujinami is able to hit a forearm for a two count. Flair rolls out on the apron, and Fujinami suplexes him back in, and Flair sells it great. Another sloppy exchange as it takes two shots for Fujinami to send Flair over the top rope, Fujinami pretty much just missed him the first time. Outside the ring, Flair crotches Fujinami over the railing to take back control. Flair works on Fujinami outside now with some chops before throwing him back inside the ring. Flair then starts working on the leg of Fujinami now. Flair then locks on the Figure-4, and has starts slapping Fujinami during it :mark: Fujinami is able to turn it over, and Flair takes some damage before getting to the ropes. They start exchange strikes in the middle of the ring now, then Fujinami locks on a Sharpshooter, but Flair makes it to the ropes. Fujinami is in complete control now as he hits a back suplex for a couple of two counts. Flair fights out of a headlock with a back suplex of his own though, and then hits a knee drop. Fujinami tries to bridge out of a pin a few times, but his back is hurt as well and Flair stops it every time. Flair tosses Fujinami outside the ring now, but Fujinami blocks and then slams Flair into the security railing and the post. Flair is busted open now, as Fujinami keeps working on him outside. Back in the ring, they exchange a few strikes, and Fujinami remains in complete control. Flair fights back however, but his comeback is cut short as Fujinami just biels him across the ring. Flair catches him with a boot to the face, but misses an Oklahoma Rolls :lmao he just flipped right over Fujinami. Flair rolls out of the ring, and flops hard on the padding. Flair catches him with a thumb to the eye as he's coming back in, then goes up top, but Fujinami catches him. Fujinami then locks on the Octopus Stretch. Flair is in this for awhile, before finally getting out of it. Both men are exhausted on the mat now. Back to their feet, Fujinami strikes Flair in the corner, but Flair comes back with some strikes of his own. They exchange now, and I feel like the crowd should be way hotter for this but they aren't. Fujinami hits a shoulder block, but both men go down. Flair rolls onto the ramp while Fujinami falls outside to the floor. Both men barely manage to get back into the ring, and Flair goes for a scoop slam, but Fujinami falls on him and gets a CLOSE TWO COUNT :mark: Flair hits some chops now, but Fujinami catches him with a small package for another close two count. More striking by Flair, but Flair accidentally hits Fujinami into the Japanese referee in the ring. Flair then rolls up Fujinami, and referee Bill Alfonso comes in to make the pin for Flair to win. The crowd chants bullshit, but I don't really know why. The match wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either. I enjoyed it, but this crowd obviously didn't because they were dead the whole time. This should have been better.

WCW The Great American Bash 1991 - Mixed Tag Team Steel Cage Match: Arn Anderson & Paul E. Dangerously vs Missy Hyatt & Rick Steiner

Alright so this match was obviously more important than the cage match for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship before it, time for this main event. So before this one even starts, The Hardliners (Dick Murdoch & Dick Slater) come out and abduct Missy Hyatt and take her backstage. We start this one as a handicap match I guess. :lmao Dangerously acts so scared of Steiner. Steiner blocks Anderson's attempt to slam him into the cage, and takes him down with a shoulder block, then a big powerslam. He turns his attention to Dangerously, and this allows Anderson to attack him. Dangerously then hits Steiner with the phone to take him down. Anderson goes to hit Steiner with Dangerously's boot, but Steiner catches him with a Steiner-line, then hits a slam and a Steiner-line on Dangerously for the win. :lmao fuck that match and fuck this PPV.

What is also so amazing is how they made a match so short so bad:lmao

WWF SummerSlam 1991 - 3 on 2 Handicap Match (with Sid Justice as special referee): Col. Mustafa, General Adnan, & Sgt. Slaughter vs WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan & The Ultimate Warrior

The heels stall on the apron before Slaughter finally starts with Hogan. Justice gets involved early as he takes something from Slaughter's hand before he can use it on Hogan. They finally lock up, and Slaughter takes control with some strikes in the corner, but Hogan turns it around and sends him into the opposite corner hard, then him and Warrior trade some shots on Slaughter as Hogan takes out Adnan and Mustafa. Warrior gets a tag and Slaughter gets hit with a double clothesline, then reverse atomic drops Slaughter before tagging Hogan back in and hitting a double big boot. Mustafa breaks up a pin, and Justice yells at him as Warrior gets another tag for some more double team on Slaughter. Hogan gets tagged back in, and hits a diving axe handle. Hogan stays in control, and Justice gets in his face now for choking Slaughter. Slaughter takes advantage of that, and tags in Adnan who takes it to Hogan with some strikes and back rakes. Mustafa gets tagged in now, and they double team Hogan as Slaughter and Warrior has Justice's attention. Mustafa locks on the Camel Clutch now, and Warrior comes in to break it up. Slaughter comes back in now and hits a back breaker for a two count. Slaughter accidentally slams Hogan into Justice and they just meet head on. Adnan gets tagged back in, and the announcers tease Justice turning on Hogan as Slaughter gets tagged back in. Slaughter goes up top, but Warrior slams him to the mat. Warrior gets the hot tag, and takes out Slaughter with like 8 clotheslines before he accidentally runs into Justice. Hogan comes in now to break that up as Slaughter take down Warrior and tags in Adnan. Justice breaks up that double team as Adnan just does more back rakes because that's all he knows. Mustafa comes in, but Warrior blocks his suplex and hits his own. Slaughter gets the tag and takes out Warrior before he can make the tag. Warrior ends up ducking a clothesline and hits his own. He fires up too much and ends up falling down :lmao Hogan gets the hot tag, points the finger at Slaughter, then hits a big boot. Warrior takes out Mustafa and Adnan, then goes after them with a chair. All three run back stage as Hogan uses some kind of powder to blind Slaughter. Hogan hits the leg drop and Justice counts pretty fast compared to his other counts for the win. That was weird, not too bad but not very fun to watch either. Weird booking though, didn't care for this match at all.

ECW Hardcore TV #26: Sabu v.s The Tazmaniac.

This was Sabu's debut in ECW... and I couldn't stop laughin' durin' this match. The set up for moves was just terrible. Taz didn't have the ring awareness that he garnered a couple years either yet. They attempted to use a table half way through the match but it just fell apart on them but guess what? That didn't stop them from tryin' to use it. At one point Taz tried takin' a piece of metal from the table to use as a weapon but just ended up strugglin' with it until he decides to set up more garbage instead. My favorite part of the match was when Sabu would stand in front of Taz in the corner and do backflips leadin' to weak lookin' blows. It was just so bad that couldn't take it seriously. What a fantastic debut, I wouldn't let you back in the building. The effort was there though as both guys tried to put on an entertainin' backforth brawl but it was mostly just ill-timed suplexes by Taz and random dives from Sabu.

WCW Halloween Havoc 1991 - 2 out of 3 Falls Match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Lex Luger (c) (with Harley Race) vs Ron Simmons (with Dusty Rhodes)

They're very careful at the start of this one with some lock ups, but no one can get an advantage. Luger takes Simmons down first with a side headlock, but he's right back up. Some chain wrestling here by both men that Luger quickly breaks up with the ropes that was pretty nice. Luger pushes Simmons into the corner, and goes for a cheap shot, but Simmons blocks it and takes it to Luger, but then misses a dropkick. Luger has control now with some strikes, but Simmons starts fighting back with some of his own. Simmons hits a facebuster off the rebound, then a big clothesline on Luger finished with a powerslam. Simmons then hits a big Spinebuster and holy shit that was the first fall. That finishing sequence was actually a lot of fun, and I think I enjoyed it more than I should have. Rhodes gets Simmons pumped up as this second fall starts, and Luger still sells his back like he's dead. Luger goes for a suplex quick, but Simmons blocks it with one of his own, then slams him into the turnbuckles before hitting a back body drop. Simmons is able to hit a bulldog-ish move for a close two count. Luger is able to get a breather with a cheap shot, but Simmons quickly locks on an inside cradle for another two count. Luger is able to throw Simmons outside through the middle rope now, but Simmons comes back in with a sunset flip for another close two count. Simmons is in complete control as he goes for a shoulder block, but Luger sidesteps it and Simmons goes outside the ring hard. Luger is in control now as Simmons gets back in the ring. Luger gets a two count after an elbow drop and Race goes "Jesus Christ you could have counted to 10!" :lmao Simmons starts to make a comeback, but Luger silences him with a powerslam, but he can't get the cover in because his back is causing him too much pain. Simmons starts fighting back again, but Luger catches him with a big clothesline out of the corner for a near fall. Luger gets frustrated now, and hits a suplex for another two count. Luger locks on a reverse chinlock now, and uses the ropes for some extra leverage. Simmons finally fights out of it, then rolls up Luger for the closest near fall of the night :mark: Luger is back in control after that, but man what a false finish. Simmons is able to get a backslide pin now for another close two count, then goes for a shoulder block, but Race grabs his leg. Rhodes comes over and nails Race now. Luger goes after Simmons with a crossbody, and Simmons almost goes over the top rope, but Race holds Simmons so Luger only goes over, which gets the DQ. So we're tied 1-1 now. Luger takes cheap shot early, and his right eye is bleeding like crazy somehow. Simmons no-sells some strikes and the crowd is crazy hot for him as he blocks an inverted atomic drop and hits a clothesline for a two count. Simmons hits an inverted atomic drop of his own now, then sets Luger on the top turnbuckle. Simmons hits a superplex, then slowly covers him and man that was a close two count. Simmons hits a big powerslam, then goes up top and hits a diving shoulder block, but Luger rolls outside of the ring. Simmons follows him, and slams him into the steel railing, but then Luger moves out of the way of a shoulder block, and Simmons goes right into the ring post. Back in the ring, Luger hits his Attitude Adjustment piledriver for the third fall. That was actually a really fun match, especially it being Simmons's first main event. The crowd was hot and the action was good, but the booking hurt it. The first fall was weird, and I don't even see the point of it being 2 out of 3 falls either.

WWF No Mercy 2001: WCW Tag Team Title Match, Hurricane & Lance Storm v.s The Hardyz(c).

Pretty fun opener here. It was a bit all over the place but it developed as a competetive back and forth contest. The exchanges Hurricane had with his buddies the Hardyz were the best moments. Lance Storm did his thing to and showed some great cohesiveness with Hurrciane. If it wasn't for the fact that at one Hurricane dove onto his own partner I may have actually had this over *** but can't do after that dumbassness.

**1/4-**1/2

Test v.s KANE.

This is about what you'd expect from these two guys. It wasn't anything special. Just a tough bout between some below average workers. Exchanges of big moves lasted like half the match, no real transition to them. Also, Test was allowed to cheat thanks to Nick Patrick which doesn't help when I rate things.

WCW Mayhem 2000: Cruiserweight Title Match, Kwee Wee v.s Mike Sanders.

I honestly felt watchin' this that the belt meant nothing and considering how great some of the competitors in this division were and are it was fuckin' lame. I don't mind Mike Sanders either. The Kwee Wee character should have never existed though. So black hole sun, ya know. Some cool fast paced, light heavyweight action happens but it's overshadowed by what was mostly a sloppy, unorganized mess. Just fuckin' awkward.

WCW Mayhem 2000: 3 Count(Shannon Moore & Shane Helms) v.s Jamie (K)noble & Evan Karagias v.s The Jung Dragons(Jimmy Yang & Kaz Hayashi).

This isn't really my kind of thing. Too much nonsense happening yet it was entertainin'. I'll give it that. The match just starts in the aisle way while one team is in the ring. The referee waits for them to get to the ring but the action is so fast and FAKE that he doesn't know what is goin' on. I never heard the bell ring but I guess that's okay if you are gonna have a Dragon Gate kind of spotfest, right? Yeah, this was mostly just an exchange of big moves and a lot of kickouts and break up attempts. I just couldn't get too invested in to it because it just seemed like they were tryin' to entertain the fans and not win a match. I'm sure some would mark like a bitch watchin' this stuff which is cool if this your kind of thing. I'd rather watch a Finlay brawl.

WCW Mayhem 2000: Non-Sanctioned Match, Mancow v.s Jimmy Hart.

What a waste of time. Mancow in a wrestling ring is a joke. Jimmy Hart doesn't help either. Garbage.

WCW Mayhem 2000: Hardcore Title Match, Big Vito v.s Reno v.s Crowbar(c).

Another triple threat of sorts already, great booking WCW. This didn't escalate or anything either it was just random nonsense. WWE's Hardcore division had some crap but it was much more interestin'. This was just dull. At one point Reno and Big Vito avoid hittin' each other and I'm like okay? Then there was no discussion at all just stumblin' around the ring before they decide to team up on the champ. I guess it was planned in the booking stage... If you are gonna do that shit you gotta set it up. Dumb shit. They end up brawlin' to the back later on and the match ends two minutes later after some more lackluster brawling and an off-balance, almost dangerous table spot. Well that move didn't end the match but the finish looked much less effective anyways.

WCW Mayhem 2000: Filthy Animals(Rey Mysterio & Kidman) v.s Kronik & Alex Wright.

Now we get a handicap match, wonderful. I guess the match was supposed to be just between the Filthy Animals and The Boogie Knights but Disco was hurt so they paid off Kronik for 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Kronik are already bad havin' them distracted by a stop watch angle just makes them worse. There were actually some good exchanges in this match but they involved Alex Wright. However even Das Wunderkind makes mistakes. There was a head scissor at one point done by Kidman comin' from outside the ring except Kidman misses Wright's head but this doesn't stop Wright from grabbin' his legs and takin' the move anyways. Looked hella stupid to me. Also this match went from fast pace to slow power moves in the matter of seconds. The flow was atrocious with Alex Wright constantly askin' for the tag after every big move Kronik did. I would have rather this had just been Alex Wright by himself. Kronik up and leave at 7 minutes and 30 seconds and a shortly after a series of moves from the Animals, Wright is put away. Eh, another match on this pay-per view that is just all over the fuckin' place.
