First session on Minecraft, davetopia has arisen.

So far, I've mostly been working on home protection after a creeper blew up two of my walls. I now have a moat and I'm planning to elevate the house to keep baddies out.

I didn't like it when I played it, but when I played it I played for about 10 hours.

It's simple, but bloody addictive. I went to bed last night thinking about the upgrades I'd be performing on the house and what I wanted to do next. You can't play this game for 5 minutes, you need a good couple of hours because things snowball really quickly.

I didn't like it when I played it, but when I played it I played for about 10 hours.

The good thing about the Xbox version is that the achievements help give you some direction. Whilst I'm busy getting my feet wet, the main mission is still to get enough Iron to build a minecart railway long enough to get the achievement, and then build a portal into the netherworld.

1600 MS points. It's a lot, but the replay value is huge so it sorta works out.

I plan on grabbing some MS points for Minecraft as soon as my first paycheck at the new job comes through.

For now though, I'm working through Surf's Up for the easy 1000 gamerscore :
