The following matches ended in a tie, sending both participants into round 2. From round 2 onwards standings in the World Prediction Rankings will be used to determine winners of tied matches.

The updated bracket will be up later this week, as you can see there's at least some triple threat matches coming up in round 2, maybe even fatal fourways... should be interesting....

Ladies and gentlemen, this past weekend saw unprecidented competition in the World Prediction Championship as, for the first time ever, the Competitors of the WPC took part in the first round of the inaugural King of the Ring competition.

After the dust had settled we saw several members of the WPC eliminated from the competition but, because of the ruling that first round ties resulted in both participants advancing, we still have eleven competitors vying for the coveted prize.... in competetition which will continue this coming weekend!!!!

The World Prediction Championship commitee have been looking around the world for an event worthy of hosting the next round of the WPC King of the Ring tournament and, after discussions with New Japan Pro Wrestling about their Summer Struggle event the WPC have moved the next round of the tournament up to this coming Saturday the 25th of July to now take place at Sengoku Lord!

This round of competition will see several triple threat matches take place, with ties now being decided by standings in the World Prediction Rankings we're sure to see some extremely competitive action. AND, not only with the second round of the King of the Ring take place but our New World Prediction Champion, @Raidokken will be making the first defense of their newly won crown!

Yeah, it's more of a minor ppv for New Japan, not really heard of it myself tbh but Summer Struggle looks to be more of just a tour that's not leading up to anything so I've swapped it out.

I know right. I was feeling myself as if I was John Travolta in Grease then I went down the Street and fell on my Ass over a bunch of Marbles. NJPW had a Show today and I got to see that to see how I'm feeling for their 25th Show with Titles on the line.

God Defeated both the number #8 Seed Davey Wrestling and the #9 Seed Grim with a perfect round of 7-0 vs 6-1 and 3-4 respectively
Blaze Defeated the #5 Seed Lady HotRod 7-0 vs 6-1, Doom no-showed the match and is disqualified from the tournament.
Raidokken Defeated #7 Seed The EC by virtue of a higher placement in the World Prediction Rankings. Both competitors went 6-1, Sky no-showed the match and is disqualified from the tournament.
HOHO Defeated #3 Seed Chris 7-0 vs 6-1
