Nash on the PG Era in WWE and CM Punk: "I think the number one thing that hurts still is the fact that they’re PG. I’m a huge fan of Punk’s [but] I’m sorry, it’s hard for me to watch two grown men say they’re going to beat the crap out of each other. That’s my personal opinion.

"I’m also saying that it doesn’t look to me like he spends a lot of time in the weight room. I just think it would enhance his look and everything. We were all drug free and drug tested for years at the WWE, and there were a lot of guys that had great physiques. I think that comes with it."

My bad took physical ability as skills. Okay but even in that regard you're wrong Punk isn't lazy and always hits the gym he just isn't gonna turn into a physical freak body wise. Punk is in good enough shape to do what he needs to do. HBK obviously is in better shape than Punk but not a huge difference since like I said it isn't like Punk is lazy and it's part of Punk's appeal anyways as his thing is that he isn't the WWE prototype in stature. Plus didn't wanna go here but lets take into account how Punk doesn't do any drugs and HBK was the exact opposite and rumored to have used roids back in the day. Not that this matters anyways since Nash is just trolling anyways.

I honestly don't understand why he would say such a thing. People LOVED Eddie and Chris. They were both extremely talented smaller guys. And both of their deaths hit wrestling fans hard. Don't tell me they ruined wrestling when in all honesty, they probably helped it in so many ways.

Yeah Punk is just doughy to be blunt, not a bad thing because Brock is too. Michaels was always cut, even post finding religion and cleaning himself up.

I still want to hear why Rey should be the man, as he said before Rey came back he should have a run at the belt. Rey is small, but knowing Nash he will say he has a personality and the mask lol, like we don;'t remember him fucking over Rey

So obvious he's just saying things he knows people will talk about. PG is the problem? Really? Did Nash pay attention to the programming in the mid-90s when he was champ?

I know, that's always my argument when someone is so quick to point out that PG is the only problem in WWE and that it needs to be changed instantly.

Such a one sided slanted view in this thread.

Yeah lets write off everything Nash did and his opinion means nothing. Jericho can say Nash didn't draw as much as he wants, facts are there, nWo the biggest merch movers of all time, and when he defected to WCW they started winning the war. Where was Jericho then? Oh yeah, curtain jerking in cruiser matches. Chavo has always been a jobber and his opinion is moot.

And PHX are you seriously trying to pass off Punk as a 6ft 2in man? The guy could be wearing stilts and still struggle to maoe that height. He was only just bigger than Rey during their feud.

Quite a bit taller than Rey, barely shorter than Trips.

This argument is like going to war and saying "let's spend a billion dollars on, like, 5 really good guns." The guns work really well at first, but then the cost to keep the guns goes up and one of the guns doesn't want to be there anymore and another gun needs a hip replacement and I've lost the metaphor but you get the point. The fact that Jericho was curtain jerking is emblematic of the problem in WCW, the one that caused them to shut down 5 years after Big Kev got there.

And, arguments aside, yes it is a ton of fun writing off everything Nash did and shitting on him. I recommend it.

Nash was one part of the NWO and it is worth pointing out that he was also a big reason why WCW is no longer around today. You should judge someone's drawing power and talent on their overall career not just one part of it.

How is the argument regarding his career even relevant?

Saying his career sucked, he didn't draw, he was a lousy worker, is that supposed to make any difference when it comes to the validity of his opinion? Seems there's a great deal of irony when you have people on the internet who have never worked in the business, much less see even a fraction of the success Kevin Nash had, try to pass judgments on wrestlers, promotions and booking decisions.

Look at the pic Chris posted. Punk is not as small as you think he is. He's almost as tall as HHH and Trips is 6'4. At worst Punk is like 6'0 no way is he 5 foot something. Not that I care that much anyways as long as you're good at whatever size.

And I didn't write off Nash's career I just said his opinion on this matter is stupid as fuck and Jericho's comments were funny as hell.

Yeah Punk is just doughy to be blunt, not a bad thing because Brock is too. Michaels was always cut, even post finding religion and cleaning himself up.

I would almost pay to see why he thinks Rey should be the man over other guys who were better overall talents and much bigger since he is king midget lol.

And this page is still going on, why?

Nash trolls twitter, reminder to all that he was talking about Miz winning the title just exposed the business, and noone even pointed out the fact that he was apart of almost every kayfabe breaking moment in the 90s.

Being worked is still prevalent idn't it? smarks are the new marks.
