Who cares if Nash was in nWo? Did you ever see anyone walking around wearing Kevin Nash t-shirts? I sure as fuck haven't. He didn't save the wrestling business with the nWo, the nWo saved Kevin Nash's career in the wrestling business. Don't twist the details.

Right, lets say it was all Scott Hall who saved his career, let's throw Hogan into that as well.

Let's totally forget the fact that the Wolfpack subfaction of Nash, Hall and Syxx were the most over guys in that group.

How is the argument regarding his career even relevant?

Saying his career sucked, he didn't draw, he was a lousy worker, is that supposed to make any difference when it comes to the validity of his opinion? Seems there's a great deal of irony when you have people on the internet who have never worked in the business, much less see even a fraction of the success Kevin Nash had, try to pass judgments on wrestlers, promotions and booking decisions.

No you have a point but at the same time if you haven't had much of a career yourself then it seems a bit cheap to be running down others.

You mean of course besides Hogan who made the whole nWo idea successful.

Look who is running down Nash though.

Jericho who hasn't succeeded in anything he's tried in any walk of life, and uber jobber Chavo. Why they are choosing to run down a guy way more influential and successful than them is anyones guess.

Kevin Nash is so good at getting attention for himself to keep his name in the headlines. I can see why he said what he said but it doesn't really hold up with Eddie because he had that personality that was larger than life. Benoit I can kind of understand because he wasn't very charismatic. In the end the business goes in cycles and it will eventually pick back up, yeah it has dropped off since that time but it will rise again in the near future.

I had a Kevin Nash shirt back in 1998 and I still have a Wolfpac shirt that I strut around in if that counts.

But apart from a two year spell in the NWO what else do have to back up the claim that Nash has been more sucessful than Jericho? Jericho has been one of WWF/WWE's most over wrestlers for over a decade now and he also had a entertaining heel run in WCW.

Jericho hasn't succeeded when he's main evented Wrestlemania 2008, feuded with arguably the greatest performer in history in Shawn Michaels TWICE, won every title, and has pretty much done it all. Yep hasn't done anything, ugh I try to give Cork chance since he really knows his UFC stuff but when it comes to wrestling, if the guy isn't over 270 pounds forget about it.

People will never give Jericho as much credit because he loves putting talent over and people who put talent over and don't hog the main event heaven't succeeded apparantely.

^Exactly. One of the reasons people don't see Kane as much of a success. Kane has always been trying to push younger talent and has been a supportive character in the back. He is such a good talent and can really main event- (hell if Undertaker can!), he surely can.

As for an earlier remark, Jericho is indeed more popular and successful than Nash. Yes, Nash is smart and has saved shit load more money- doesn't mean he is "success"full in the business. Jericho earned probably more, blew it up on a hooker- his life, who cares?

Not sure if srs or trolling.

'Being over' is your definition of success?

Nash was in THE most over stable of wrestlers in history drawing monster ratings while Jericho was the piss break. Lets not pretend Diesel wasn't one of the biggest characters of his time either.

I don't think it's even close, Nash has done way more stuff of importance and has the better legacy. He's never been out of the main event (call it politics, I call it being smart) while Jericho has been a career midcarder.

It's not that Jericho has done nothing, it's that his achievements don't stand up to Nash's and never will.

Jericho mainevented Mania 2008?
Nash mainevented 2 Mania's.

Jericho feuded with Michaels twice?
Nash feuded with him countless more times.

Jericho won every title there is?
Nash never left the main event to pick up pointless midcard titles.

You can go blow for blow and Nash wins every time.

Since when has Nash feuded with HBK "countless times"? Could have sworn it was just that once in the 90s. They were on-screen friends the whole time Nash was in the WWE in 2002-2003.

Few things

I'm guessing Jericho main eventing mania 2008 is a typo as the mania he main evented was in 2002. Nash never leaving the main event scene is kinda false since I'm sure he wasn't in the main event picture at the end of his WWF run and was in midcard angles winning tag titles in WCW and wouldn't exactly brag about him not leaving the main event scene in WCW since for a good bit there he was booking the show so not really an accomplishment. And Nash never main evented mania where did you get that from? LT vs Bam Bam main evented mania 11, and HBK vs Bret main evented mania 12.

And this too they only feuded once so what what are you talking about Cork on those certain points?
