Deffinitly. The word overrated has been ruined. It's now just as another way of saying they don't like a popular person. Can still be used the way it once was tho.
By a "popular person" do you mean wrestlers you like? People are allowed to have an opinion and just because they think wrestlers that you like are overrated doesn't mean the term is invalid now.

Why would I bother responding to someone who didn't even understand me in the first place?
I did and I had a valid response... I think it is you who doesn't understand what I have said. Ignore the "invalid" thing I guess I used to wrong word for your small mind, let me explain it more. As "invalid" I mean't how you said the term has been completely ruined and lost meaning pretty much. Also I do think you're shitting on the term just because someone said it about wrestlers you like. I think you should stop insulting people on here just because they don't share the same opinion as you. People that immature shouldn't be on these forums lmao.

I stated the obvious neology of the word 'overrated'. But I also seid the word can still be used correctly. It's about the interpretation of the word. Which is definitely worth bringing up. Read what I said before you call me out on tuff I didn't even say.

So you think people use the word "overrated" invalidly. It is clear to me that when you talk about people using it in the wrong way, you mean when people use it on wrestlers you like. I think you should just say that you disagree instead of saying they aren't using it the right way.

Not just wrestling. People can use the word with a different meaning to the original meaning in many circumstances. Not uncommon when the conversation is on wrestling or any sport
