Jimmy Jacobs was/is a good example of what I'm talking about. Great promos, great in the ring, could pop a crowd huge, has travelled the world in basically all the major promotions besides WWE (as a wrestler at least) and is often talked about, but I feel like he's never actually given the proper credit for the work he does. Again, it is definitely still subjective. But my point is mostly that too many people say a wrestler is overrated when really they mean they think they suckIt depends on what your looking at. Technical in ring ability, sure. Loads of wrestlers who are great in Ring are not hyped up. That's because they lack in other areas of wrestling. Being a great wrestler isn't about how good your Irish whip is.
