Jeff Hardy, who has not appeared for TNA Wrestling in over five months, announced this evening on his Twitter account that he will be on hand for this Thursday’s Impact Wrestling taping in Huntsville, Alabama.

He wrote, “Ok it’s official…time to go back2work!I will be in Huntsville,AL this Thursday with ImpactWrestling!!!!â€￾

The September 1 and September 8 episodes of Impact Wrestling will be taped that night at the Von Braun Center Arena.

Hardy last appeared for the organization on March 13 at Victory Road, competing in a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match against Sting. The match, which was contested under No Disqualification rules, concluded in ninety seconds as company officials made an audible to cut it short after deeming that Hardy was in no condition to wrestle. He was sent home the following day.

What do you guys think about this, will Jeff Hardy perform better? Will he turn face?

What are your thoughts?

Its good I just hope he has actually taken control of his life and its good that impact doesnt move around that much so he will be able to keep himself stable when he isnt taping. I just hope he doesnt hng around his brother to much because if anything is going to make him relaps it will be fatt hardy. I am not sure what to expect from him but I think he owes the fans an apology for what he did at victory road and should do that o the taping.

The thing is he doesn't actually say that he will be there to wrestle just that he will be there, maybe he is covering his bases. My questions is why would they bring him back when the whole court business still has not been sorted, he has been kept away for months because of it, surely they must wait until it is all done before bring him back. It can't hurt maybe to have him show his face, but anything else would be risky.

I also hope that he arrives clean and has tried to put his life back on track. He and his brother are in a terrible state and they are turning into the Scott Hall's of their generation. Like Keith I also wonder why they are bringing him back before his court proceedings are wrapped up. There is still a chance, albeit small, that he will go to jail so why not get that sorted before using him again.

I guess after they turned their top face, Angle, heel they have no real top faces other than crazy Sting and Anderson who they have pushed terribly. Wouldn't surprise me if they put him in the mainevent right away as their top face.

Good God if TNA bring back Hardy as their top baby face I am done with it. Im sorry but how can you make someone who is on drug charges, doesnt even show up to a ppv main event clean the top man in your company. I just dont think it will be a good move in the long run people will complain about the message it sends to their children about taking drugs and I have to say its not cool. This will be the worst thing TNA could possibly do so I hope it doesnt happen.

I don't think they have any other choice. Who do they have left for the fans to cheer at the top of the card?
