I think you're still missing the point of the track record. Jeff is showing here he'll never change.
Why does he have to? He's a grown ass man.

It's not like we don't lionize Flair for the same behaviour.

I just looked it up and it was X-Pac, not Hall, that fucked with Hayes' hair.

If you don't see the difference between Flair being an idiot on his own time and this:

I don't know what to tell you. That's not even counting the vast amounts of no shows he did while an addict.

If you're a major wrestling company you need a zero tolerance with Jeff to be able to trust him.

You really think WWE would let him work or even be in the building if he was intoxicated? Arn Anderson isn't there to do that anymore. 8D

And I seriously doubt Flair never worked drunk.

Forget Flair.

The point is WWE isn't going to let Hardy just pass out drunk at their events and get arrested for public intoxication.

It sets a bad example with Jeff's track record. WWE doesn't want to worry that he'll show up too high or drunk to work and then have to send him home. Why do you need to take that gamble? It's not worth it. WWE will most likely offer to send him to rehab or go home like they did in 2003.

I'm kinda with Deezy here, I'm more lenient with alcohol than anything as long as he wasn't driving (which he was last year smh so I still think it's a possibility it'll happen again). Alcohol can straight up ruin your life, but this seems relatively tame for a Jeff headline which is sad in it's own right, but that's another story :ortonout

There's a reason when you go to rehab or NA they tell you can't drink either. It's all wrapped up together. It's all addiction.

The fact is he passed out at a WWE event showing he's losing control again and then he got arrested. That's two incidents in a row.

Uso had a DUI last year and was arrested for public intoxication earlier this year.....they already set the example.

100% true, I'm not really disagreeing with you either, it's still bad but it ain't "Jeff Hardy headline" bad so that's probably why I'm just like whatever for it rn. It could def lead to worse which is what I'm watching for and hoping doesn't happen.

If you want to get Usos in trouble, too, be my guest. But, they're not responsible for Jeff's history of this going back decades.

I get where you're coming from, but that worse headline is coming if this isn't nipped in the bud now.

End of the day, he's still an adult and even if it's just legal bullshit, Hardy as an independent contractor, can still do whatever he wants in his own time.

He can, but WWE don't have to employee him while he's doing it.

It's a misdemeanor....they're not obligated to do anything.

It's not a wellness violation or domestic violence
