WWE WRESTLER JEFF HARDYARRESTED FOR DRUNK IN PUBLIC

WWE Wrestler Jeff Hardy -- aka Brother Nero -- was arrested down in South Carolina for allegedly being drunk in public.

Jeff was arrested and booked early Saturday morning for public intoxication and impairment in Myrtle Beach, where he posed for this mug shot. Jeff's distinguishable features are on full display -- his large gauges in his ears, and his unique facial hair make him stand out like a sore thumb among the weekend lineup for Myrtle Beach PD.

It's unclear what exactly led to his arrest -- we're working on getting more deets -- but we're told he was released at some point Saturday on less than $200 bond.

Jeff is currently dealing with a knee injury -- for which he underwent surgery earlier this year and is recovering -- that's kept him out of the ring for a bit. He normally wrestles as one half of the Hardy Boyz for the SmackDown brand of the company.

Jeff was arrested for a DWI last year in North Carolina after he was reportedly involved in a car crash, and allegedly blew a 0.25 BAC.

I mean, I really hate to say it, but at this point :/ I'm just waiting for the day a story of him dying in a crash from drinking and driving, or something with drinking involved. Seems he might have kicked the drugs, as I not seen anything with that in awhile. But it's sad man.

Idk. I'm interested what the details are. Being publicly intoxicated in Myrtle Beach is incredibly normal. Go to any beach in America and you'll seen dozens of drunks staggering around. So I'm interested to see if it was something about his behavior that got him in trouble or if he just got caught at a bad time.

I think it’s just the history he has my dude. I mean yeah he’s done worse but still, he pushes his limits A LOT. I just don’t wanna read one day he drunk himself to death.

Especially the fact this guy has a terrible track record and he was arrested right after for public intoxication.

Scott Hall is my favorite wrestler of all time and he was fired for benign passed out backstage at the London PPV.

He wasn't driving a vehicle, he wasn't hurting anyone and was not resisting or lying to the cops who picked him up.

Hall was found passed out at that 2002 London PPV and got his walking papers the next morning.
