Illinois Wrestling Champions is a new federation started by Hulk Hogan after getting let go from TNA and Kevin Nash who never found a groove after returning to the WWE and eventually let out of his contract there. They got together and decided they were going to start their own wrestling promotion. They had a major backer who shall remain nameless. They brought in talent from both TNA and WWE with big guaranteed contracts. They have a time slot on WGN for a 2 hour show every Saturday night. As of right now there are no PPV's scheduled. All titles are vacant and the inaugural show will feature all titles up for grabs. The inaugural show will be on Saturday June 25th.

*More people will get added as time goes on. I am starting out a little small to get the hang of this. This is my first btb.

I am definitely intrigued. Great back story and a nice roster to boot. I'll be following this. I hope you keep up with it, it has major promise!

I'm definitely interested in this, Troy, and will be reading for sure. Good roster and an interesting backstory, I'll look forward to seeing what you do with it .

Rhodes as a face, and the involvement of Riley/Anderson have me iffy, but I love your tag team division, although kinda small at this point, and Kendrick/Ryder make up for all that. Seriously, looks interesting, especially the move to make Cena a heel! Very nice! Brie as his manager? We'll see how that works.

So far so good, and I now I see what you were telling me yesterday in regards to the heel/face alignments messing people up! XD That being said, I am really interested to see how this goes, and I for one love the roster as it is right now. Looking forward to the first show and I for one know who I think would be the best initial champions, let's see if I'm right about any of them!

They will debut at some point during the show, but to keep you guessing, I will not reveal them until the night of.

IWC has signed two more superstars. At this time we do not know who they are. They are set to debut on the inaugural show on June 25 with the rest of the roster. With matches already set we don't know who it will be. We will update you with this breaking news when we find out more.
