I think Dean Ambrose is one of the most talented guys on the roster, perhaps the most talented. But I don't know that he'll make a great heel. And I feel that way for one reason: he's so over right now even when he does "heelish" things. His ability to keep the crowd even when playing the heel reminds me of SCSA after his big face turn. He did the same things and had the same attitude, but he was doing those things to Vince and the top heels. As he advanced, he had to do bigger and badder things to keep "feeding the beast".
The "problem" arose when he tried to be "less babyface", because the audience was still going to cheer for him. They just liked him too much not to cheer him. When he "sold out" to Vince at WMX7, big portions of the crowd cheered him for winning the title (that could also have something to do with the fact that he was a Texas wrestler winning a title in Texas, but I digress). I can actually see Ambrose having that kind of charisma. In the end, though, only time will tell.
