Again... Ambrose and Austin are two separate individuals. Just because two people fit a certain label doesn;t meant they both have to act accordingly with exactly how the other person would. It's like saying so-and-so isn't really a villain just because he or she doesn't act 100% like this other individual who is also a villain. Some villains murder, some don't. Some villains rape, some don't. Some steal, some don't. Some beat their children, some don't. Etc., etc. Same here. Ambrose doesn't have to act exactly the way Stone Cold would in any given situation to be considered an anti-hero and the fact that your entire argument basically rests upon this fact now feels like you're grasping at straws at this point.

Plus, Austin's character evolved overtime. When he started to become increasingly more popular throughout the Fall of 1997, he generally wouldn't attack babyfaces anymore without rhyme or reason, and they later even acknowledged his friendship with JR on-screen. He also became slightly more fan-friendly with how he would relate to them and ask them for advice with the whole "Give me a hell yeah!" shtick.
Ok

Ziggler has been heel, many times, he is a great heel, but it's not good for him.

Look how over he is, wanna do the Cesaro job on him like that?

What Tumbas said.

Ziggler is a fantastic heel but turning him heel now is putting a road block on his momentum, which the opposite he needs (obviously)

I agree with both of you. But this was actually pre-Survivor Series discussion, it's obvious that there's no point turning him now. For that matter, I'm unsure if turning him heel at SS would've been smart either. He's easily the most over guy on the roster, along with Ambrose.

Plus, with the momentum he's got, WWE should be pushing him into ME, considering what he accomplished at SS... And they're kinda doing the opposite by putting him in a match with Harper for the IC title at TLC. As much as I love Harper and I know Harper/Ziggler is gonna deliver at TLC... Ziggler should've been in a match against Rollins. That's the natural way of booking both DZ and Rollins, considering they were coming off of a compelling ME at SS. But Vince's little poster boy needs to stay relevant, so they put Rollins vs CENAWINSLOL, which is so pointless and the outcome of that match couldn't be more obvious.

- I'm also disappointed that they sold out The Authority at SS, just for free.99

I'm suspecting Ziggler's semi-rub these recent months indicates they intend to re-sign him when his contract is up.
If he does re-sign, he's stuck for another three years elevating talent not named Dolph Ziggler.

The bigger question is whether he chooses to re-sign. Will he leapfrog younger talent to travel up the card? If not, go elsewhere. He's been far from a failure in WWE.

Putting talent over should be Cena's job and he should be doing it a helluva lot more frequently. Vince just needs to learn how to swallow that pill.

Here's to hoping DZ re-signs and gets the treatment he deserves, though. Then again, I'm not sure if WWE can trust him with the ME picture again, knowing he's prone to injuries, concussions to be exact.

What exactly does he deserve? Midcard is his well deserved life, he has no business main eventing. Generic workrate without charisma or interesting character can only take you so far.

No, he currently deserves this ME push they've got in store for him. After that, I have no idea how things are gonna play out for him. Should DZ become a jabroni like Slater or Titus? No. He's better than that.

However, I'd much rather see Ziggler in the ME picture for a while than Mr. Burial aka John Cena. If Cena was putting talent over more frequently, I'd have no problem with him being in the ME or if he turned heel. But we all know that's not gonna happen.
With talent like Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose, Wyatt, Zayn, Balor and Owens, there's no need for Cena to be in the ME picture all the time.
