With Kofi, Woods and Big E doing the "New Day" thing I don't see Ziggler turning heel at this time. I hope he gets a good face run after SS and gets people even more invested in him so he can turn heel sometime after WM next year if even that soon. I think that will benefit him more than turning him now.

I agree.

Yeah, I guess I was wrong when I thought Ziggler turning heel now (on Team Cena) would benefit him. It wouldn't, really, 'cause Rollins is the top heel on the show.

Speaking of turning on teams, if there's anyone I can see turning on Team Cena, it's Rowan. Sheamus is clearly out of the picture, although it would've been a refreshment if he wasn't injured.

I'm curious to see how they handle this Team Cena vs Team Authority thing.

Although now that I have brought it up, I would so mark out if Ziggler did drop off the ring in the OP proposed scenario, but not for the reason specified. Watching the confusion on HHH's face as Ziggler walks up the ring with a smirk on his face, to be joined at the top of the ramp by Kofi, Woods and Big E. Kind of like Owen Hart joining the Nation, Ziggler donning the nice blue outfits with a tie as he gets all preachy becoming part of the New Day movement. I would actually love that, since it would be so unexpected.

I still feel like Lesnar vs Ziggler would end with Lesnar Ripping apart Dolph over his head like an MK fatality

But Dean Ambrose will surpass 'em, he's gonna make an amazing heel, imo.

I think Dean Ambrose is one of the most talented guys on the roster, perhaps the most talented. But I don't know that he'll make a great heel. And I feel that way for one reason: he's so over right now even when he does "heelish" things. His ability to keep the crowd even when playing the heel reminds me of SCSA after his big face turn. He did the same things and had the same attitude, but he was doing those things to Vince and the top heels. As he advanced, he had to do bigger and badder things to keep "feeding the beast".

The "problem" arose when he tried to be "less babyface", because the audience was still going to cheer for him. They just liked him too much not to cheer him. When he "sold out" to Vince at WMX7, big portions of the crowd cheered him for winning the title (that could also have something to do with the fact that he was a Texas wrestler winning a title in Texas, but I digress). I can actually see Ambrose having that kind of charisma. In the end, though, only time will tell.

I agree 100%, man.

That's why Ambrose's persona just screams anti-hero, instead of settling for only one, like babyface or heel. He could do all kinds of things and people would still cheer him, that's how great he is. Time will only tell, indeed. If the suits want him to be a heel, guess he'll be one and I think he'll be doing a great job, just like he's doing now.

If I may interject and clarify what anti-hero really means.
An anti-hero would want to whip Superman or Aquaman's a**. It's something Stone Cold would do.
Dean Ambrose hasn't given any indication of that sort of behavior.

So, Ambrose is something like anti-authority now, right? I wouldn't mind seeing Dean as an anti-hero, they kinda planted those seeds when he hit Dirty Deeds on Cena right before their Contract on a Pole match, it was kinda from behind. But it wasn't exactly heel-ish either, he got cheered for laying out the crowd's hero. Well, I mean the little children's hero.

And I assume Bray Wyatt would want to whip Superman or Aquaman's ass, right? That's what kinda makes him an anti-hero.

Bray Wyatt, during his debut promo wanted to define what a hero really is and really means to people.
Depending on how they treat his face turn, he could remain anti-hero or could turn out like Kane.
A large reason the Austin character worked the way it did was because it was what society wanted to see at that time.
Post 9/11, people accepted pure heroes because it represented the ideal of what an american hero should be.

If Wyatt evolves into a brawler without changing the essence of what he represents he could be an anti-hero.

No, I get the point perfectly.

I'm just wondering why wouldn't Ambrose evolve into an anti-hero type of character? Even though he hasn't given any indication of that sort of behavior, just like you said. But, in my opinion, he kinda has when he planted Cena down with Dirty Deeds just a week before their COAP match. That could just be me, though.
I think it could work, 'cause the guy is pure gold. Time will only tell, though.

A perfect example
When Steve Austin returned from neck surgery in 2000, he investigated different superstars trying to find out who ran him over.
In this video, Austin stands by and watches The Rock get attacked without even batting an eyelash.

Skip to about 6:15 in. Once Ambrose begins doing this with regularity, then you'll have your answer.
