As you all know Swagger won the MITB at WM 26. Ever since Christian came back to the WWE he has proven that he does deserve a world championship and he can look good as a world champion. During his time in ECW he carried the brand and added much needed credibility to the ECW championship. Now the brand is gone obviously and he has the opportunity to win a real world championship. But will he ever win the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship?

Christian is at his very best right now but still he is not at the top of the ladder. The guy deserves it. It can be argued a few years ago that maybe he was best suited to be in the mid card however since his return he has busted his ass off and worked harder than anyone else in the company. So where the hell is his much deserved reward? For all most everybody it seemed he would finally get his chance by winning the MITB. Despite his huge momentum, it didn't happen and some people now think it might not happen period.

Do you think the day will come when Christian is finally main eventing as a World Champion? Is there no hope after he lost in the MITB at WM 26?

Personally I will wait and see what happens at the MITB PPV until I lose my hope. That might truly be his last chance.

Yeah I agree with you on the MITB ppv maybe being his last chance. I think their have been reports over the years that Vince Mc Mahon has never had the highest opinion of Christian, now I dont know if that's true or if it was that maybe it's changed. But the evidence so far ( especially with Swagger winning the MITB match with no momentum going into it) that Christian just might not have Vince's eye as a future main eventer. We'll see.

Christian helped make Jack Swagger. They had great matches and in PWI magazine it was a nominee for match of the year, the tv title match they had. He got a good match from Ezekiel Jackson, TWICE. He made Zach Ryder look like a contender. Getting good matches from anyone is one of the defining qualities of a great star. Just ask Ric Flair.

Unless Vinny Mac dies rather soon, I don't see it happening.

Jeff Hardy was back in WWE for over two years before he got the title, and he was more popular than Christian. Give it time and wait to see what happens. I don't really care of he wins a world title or not in WWE, tho obviously I'm in the minority.

Jeff Hardy returned and had a confrontation and match with Edge who was WWE champion then. Christian returned to a confrontation with Jack Swagger who wasn't a proven commdity yet. Jeff also didn't have the success in TNA that Christian had.

Christian didn't exactly return to WWE, the re-invented Instant Classic Christian Cage did. Vince resents that.

Yeah, Jeff's return was treated as a big deal. So was Christian, only on a different show. After that Jeff feuded with Johnny Nitro and Carlito, while Christian reigned supreme on ECW.

It really is a defining quality that not many guys possess. The fact that Christian built himself up to be credible as a main eventer while making stars out of nobodies at the same time really shows some serious talent. Swagger already looked good but Christian gave him a nice boost up to the top. Hell he made Dreamer look great after he jobbed in ECW for years.

Yes, yes and yes! Tommy Dreamer's last great match before Christian was the tag match against Foley/Edge with Funk almost 4 years ago! Some not all his fault,(Khali feud), but by the time Dreamer gave his nice farewell, Christian helped give him back some ring integrity.

Bigger question right meow is this. Now that Edge is a face and is soon to have nothing to do.

Are they going to reunite Edge and Christian or be too intimidated considering their not close to being in a spotlight you'd want to them to be in if you wanted this epic reunion to shadow the meaninless rehashes we've seen of the Hardy's, DX, great teams only to face mediocre talent constantly losing all value and nostalgia. Would it be worth to rekindle the team when they're both burnt out and have nothing to do? What's inevitable, a Heel turn in let;s give them a month or an actual rekindle of E&C from bottom to top reclaiming the tag titles and revisiting magic against new faces?

Edge/Christian feud would be awesome.

Anyways, I think Christian will eventually get his chance and with all of these wrestlers apparently taking some time off soon, who knows, maybe they will finally squeeze Christian into some worthy of a title shot. He was good enough to at least take the ECW belt.

Christian is the best worker in WWE right now.
