Yeah, he even said this week on ECW, "it was this week last year in which I returned to ECW." That week last year when Swagger wasn't a nobody jobber as well.

Can't really count Orton and Batista, they weren't the tag team champions, Flair and Batista were.

On the topic of popularity between tag team partners, would it count if they were already established as single stars? Morrison was already a three time tag champ when him and Miz started tagging. TBH I only knew Jeff and Matt apart from their hair color, they dressed exactly the same during their TLC days. Wasn't until Lita came in, starting conflict with the two that really seperated them apart.

I think in the case of Miz&Morrison it counts because Morrison wasn't that established (had he won the ECW Championship before of after teaming with Miz? If before then it could be questionable whether to count them or not).

Mizorrison is one of those rae cases where two random guys (they did not come into the WWE as a tag team thus I consider them a random team) that did not make one look alot better then the other. If anything It helped the Miz moreso then Morrison imo. Before the teaming Miz was piss poor in the ring. Throughout the Mizorrison run I noticed The Miz to drastically improve. Morrison, who will always imo be bland actually was good for something and that was making the Miz all the more awesome lol

Also Morrison was under his "new persona" and no one acknowledges winning the ECW championship as an achievement on RAW or SD!, so Morrison and Miz weren't really established to RAW and SD! audiences.

Oh, herro California!
-Don't forget that Christian wasn't in the WWE for I think 8/9 of Edge's title reigns (I don't know if it would have panned out the same way or not).

Maybe, maybe not. It's hard to tell when you ask the 'what if' questions. I mean I don't doubt that Edge would have been just as successful if Christian had stayed, but it's more the timing I'm not sure about.

-If your talking about popularity, The Hardyz are equal popularity imo and maybe even E&C (Christian gets massive ovations) but if you are talking about talent then I can't think of one, maybe Orton and Batista (if you count them as a team) because they are about equally succesful but I would say Orton is miles better than Batista.

Whenever you have a duo, in any sort of capacity it seems there is always one who is destined to be more popular. Penn and Teller. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Batman and Robin. Wrestling doesn't appear to be an exception. Maybe because there has to be a showman (front man) and then the details guy who makes sure things go smooth.

I don't count Orton and Batista as a team. The do NOT mesh well.

You don't remember the big deal about Kofi dropping the accent/Jamaican thing? Triple H made a sarcastic, breaking kayfabe comment to it once lol. And according to Cole, Kofi told him to say that word about him. So they are equally moronic.

Miz is the shit.

Christian wasn't there for any.

I must have missed that....

Well, that's what Cole is paid to do. But really, controlled frenzy?

I don't mind Cole, I'd have him over King any day (he's just a horny old man) but the wrestling observer newsletter (I no this from wiki) voted him worst commentator of 2009.

I hate Cole mainly because he seems to need to put "Vintage" before every damn wrestler name/finishing move.

I miss the old days of The King and JR. Other than them and Cole, I don't think I even know who else does announcing.

That's because, "Same old shit we've been seeing for years" doesn't roll of the tongue so easily.
