Its strange how WWE are turning Bryan heel in the way that they are. I wasn't hoping for him to be a cowardly, cocky heel but it seems thats the way he's going. Also curious to me that they would have Bryan over-reacting and boasting with his win, considering the confusion everyone had about Jericho's promo this week. I guess I though Bryan's heel turn would be a little less ambiguous.

I remember the rampage he where he went off on Justin Roberts, and the tantrum he had with Michael Cole. He can be vicious, I'm sure of it. The problem is... why? Is it just the greed of the World Title? It seems like they need to have a backstory here, more than just the desperation of the World Championship.

Andrew... do you really think a dragon on the man's clothes makes him a suitable heel? Come on dude... not even you can be that ridiculous.

Actually nevermind, scratch that... now that I think about it, you are that ridiculous.

He def can have ammo as to why he becomes vicious if they use it. From being shit on by Cole to becoming obsessed with being world champ hence why he cashed it in earlier than he was supposed to, being looked down upon because of his size, etc.

Now when you put it like that, it makes more sense. Hopefully if that's the route they take, they'll use those reasons to make it mean something.

OK watched Smackdown and could see a turn. A think they could go the "I'm starter than you" route they went to a degree with Jericho, and have him outsmart everyone without breaking the rules to defend the title. Great start to that with provoking Henry for a DQ.

Yeah after watching the end to Smackdown this week it is clear he is going heel. He walked up to Henry to get him to push him and then he went to the ref and told him to call for the DQ victory. Reaction from the fans was good as well as they really didn't know what to do, they didn't like the finish but then they wanted to cheer Bryan as champion so they were torn over what to do.

To be honest I can't see anyone turning heel unless the crowd really start booing Brian and before anyone says that he is getting booed lets its on a taped show Raw would reveal how over he is.

True dunno if that was legit heat or piped in heat but either way they're obviously building toward that direction of turning him heel slowly. If it doesn't catch on the way they want could see them changing their mind midway and maybe making Show heel or something.

I don't see how either need to be heel Brian just needs to be a bit more aggressive he's more then capable of it he just needs a shot he's like Chris Benoit average on the mic but got over due to his wrestling

I don't think it's more of a need thing but rather of just analyzing how they're going about his reign so far. Main thing being that he went back on his word about waiting until mania to cash it in and not to do it like everyone else. And how he got himself DQ without making it too obvious.

I believe it's a slow heel turn progressing here.

With his antics of late, it's clear to see that he'd be turning heel. I'd be surprised if he doesn't because the way he acts lately is what a heel would do

I think a few people were thinking of a similiar thing with John Cena when he was feuding with Batista he cheated to win the last man standing match and then even though Batista Quit he still hit an Attitude Adjustment I would say that maybe he just gets an edge that is desperatley needed for wwe boring faces.

I still see it as him turning heel. Asking the ref to call for a DQ after Henry pushed him rather than continuing the match against Show is a heelish thing to do since he would rather retain the belt than actually fight the match and earn the belt.

Totally different case really as that wasn't really a heel act on Cena's part just a clever somewhat comedic act. Wasn't that much out of his character. Bryan doing what he did was very much a heel looking thing on the other hand.

Damn I'm shocked you guys didn't make an analogy by now to a certain heel not too long ago. Bryan going heel is a good move, but doesn't this remind you to the infamous CM Punk heel turn in 2009. Punk's heel turn started by cashing the briefcase on a lovable face, but Punk didn't get much of a reaction Bryan did at first. Now they had moments where they got themselves mostly intentionally disqualified in title defenses. Punk at the Bash kicking a ref and Bryan using Henry to get himself disqualified. I'm excited for this slow heel turn, but a few things need to change. Bryan needs a new entrance theme because that corny generic theme music will not help. Also like some of you have said, don't turn him into the next Christian. I'm really excited for this move and it has Punk 2009 written all over it.
