I really didn't have a problem with Iron Man 2, thought it wasn't as good as the first, but I still enjoyed it. I mean, fuck, it had Scarlet Johanson and all her boob-filled glory. I thought Mickey Rourke did a pretty good job too.

Whiplash is just a shockingly bad villain, that was the issue with Ironman II.

But looking at the third one, Marvel marketted as an adaptation of The Extremist but from any trailer I've seen, doesn't come across at all like the The Extremist Arc unless the only thing which is adapted is the Extremist mutation virus...

Iron Man 2 wasn't a disaster, but it very much just felt like it was just filling the space between Iron Man and Avengers, didn't really feel like a film in it's own right.

Saw this a couple days ago and was VERY impressed. Great film, definitely better than 2, I was a fan of just about everything in it. A must-watch if you're a superhero movie fan (and who isn't?)

Possibly the worst comic book movie of all time; had all the potential in the world, I'd rather watch 2 on repeat over this. At the moment of the "Plot twist" I just wanted to walk out.

I've never seen two posts within minutes of each other have the exact opposite opinion like this :hm:

lol

saw it last night, I stayed seated for my gf but I stopped caring about the movie the moment the plot twist happened and I didn't want to be there a second longer.

Which plot twist exactly?

Just my opinion, out of all of the ones I have seen, this is up there with Superman Returns. I don't want to post spoilers but I'll just say the character name;

Mandarin

OZ I defly disagree with your post, it far worse than 1 and 2; the source material was shit on, maybe it is a entertaining movie to some, but to me, as a marvel fan, this was just straight garbage.

I haven't and don't walk out of many movies but if I was alone watching this, I would have walked out.

Don't see why the 2nd one was far worse. I especially liked the big fuck you to Chris Nolan at the end.

Never go into these things with high expectations.

That's always my philosophy, but even I had pretty high expectations for this one and wasn't disappointed at all

I saw the one twist coming but was still ok with it and I think that we could get another related twist down the line. Far better than most Superhero movies out there.
