Over/Under for number of times we hear about Lucha Bros. signing with WWE and then the story being disproven before it actually happens?

I'd say about 5.

At this point stop reporting it and just wait to hear "ZERO MIEDO" over the PA system on RAW or Smackdown. It's getting ridiculous.

If they buy the rights to Pentagon's Lucha Underground theme, is the only report I care about

Well within his rights to do so, just wonder if it will be worth the hassle in the end up.

Going to wait for a better source cause Dave is hit and miss. Disagree with AEW doing this. Just have Lucha Bros lose to a team or two and let them go

This whole story just sucks. AEW is doing what they have the right to do, nothing wrong with that at all. But if they're just adding injury time to the contract and then will make them sit at home it just feels sleazy. I hope either they use him or they let him out of the deal.

Don't get me wrong Lucha's handled it terribly too. If they just kept their mouth shut AEW probably would have his contract run out. Instead they fucked around and found out. Here's hoping there is a amicable solution in here somewhere.

The irony that this will hurt perception way more than any damage the Lucha Bros could have done by having success in WWE

Agreed if true. Part of me thinks this might be revenge on Tony's part for Penta allegedly already basically agreeing with WWE and Konnan. Still wrong and he shouldn't do it btw.

Yeah, like it’s within his right, but I hate when WWE does it, don’t really like it here either. It also makes people think in the future about this, and could possibly hurt some future signings as well. Gotta think smart.

If WWE doesn't want Penta solo, just holding Fenix hostage keeps Penta on ice outside of AAA too but I think it'd be weird if they had to be a package deal, I'd want either on my roster solo as well

As far as the concept of adding time, it's whatever to me. If the companies can legally do it for now until they're finally challenged, it's whatever. My only big issue I have is when people want out and they aren't used. Not being used but not wanting out means they're happy with the paycheck, good for them. If they want out but they're still being used, eh you signed the contract and now you're performing it and still on TV, I don't have an issue with that either. I just hate when people are sitting at home asking out and also not being booked.

It's possible they're refusing since that seems to happen in AEW but I dont understand why everyone can refuse booking if they don't like it as if there's not a contractual obligation to perform, I think it's more likely, if they say they don't want to do an angle, Tony says fine you don't have to and then ices them while he finds someone that will, not so much them saying "no I refuse to work"

Yeah if you are going to add time bring Fenix back to TV for a few matches to put some people over but keeping at home would be dumb. Part of me thinks if Penta was not a moron and Konnan wasn't Konnan, it doesn't happen

Maybe he's a stand up guy despite this news not working in his favour but I can't imagine dude agreeing to come back on TV to put over a bunch of guys when he's made it clear in his actions that he doesn't wanna be there anymore.

But adding injury time to workers who don't want to be there anymore just to lock them down and make them sit at home is totally something only WWE would do
