As we all know, WWE won the Monday Night Wars.

The question I ask is in which ways was WCW better than WWE?

As someone was wasn't watching wrestling back then I don't really know how good WCW was. I have of course seen various episodes of Nitro and a few PPV's but not enough to know how good WCW was as a whole. I know we have some people here who were avid fans of WCW.

1. They were much better at spending money unwisely.
2. Definitely a better company at letting the inmates run the asylum.
3. Easily the best at booking asinine storylines and matches.
4. Award winners in the "we have no clue what we're doing 95% of the time" category.
5. Champions at letting excellent talent go in favour of pushing old guys.

Sarcasm aside, I generally feel that WCW had a better in-ring product than WWE, although of course there are certain match exceptions.

The Cruiserweight division was far superior to WWE light heavyweight division.

DX is better though

There wouldn't have been a DX without the nWo though that was WWE ' s response to the nwo. While I agree the nwo got stale after the 80th member showed up and they split 5 times it was the catalyst for many groups. Lwo, bwo, and DX.

Yeah i mean i see your point, but just because they came first doesnt really change anything for me. DX has a different route and I enjoy their content over NWO's. But i enjoy the NWO esthetic

Honestly the nWo helped push wcw above WWE in the Monday night wars but when things got stale and they killed Goldberg ' s streak with a teaser things went to shit really quick plus you had the departures of Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, and Benoit all at the same time because to much time was being given to all the heavyweight nonsense with the nwo you can see why they started to drop in ratings.

I do have to agree with Fuji though that their in ring was much better at the time.

Oh and wcw had the best mistake in all of wrestling.

I still dont really understand what exactly the "shockmaster" is,

I'd say handing David Arquette the WHC was up there too
