He lost to someone who was just feuding with Robbie E. And he lost clean. In under 10 minutes.

I couldn't buy him challenging for the world title if Devon can best him so easily.

I say there's no shame in losing clean to the champion, but that's just me. Also, Devon demolished Robbie E twice in less time combined than the match he just had with Gunner, so I don't see why that's a big deal.

It'll easily be forgotten, Brandon. I can't say Gunner WILL be pushed, but if he is, he deserves more than the TV title anyways.

If this was say MMA and someone got beat by like the lowest card champion on the promotion, could you legit buy him facing the top champion?

This isn't even a good analogy because MMA fighters fight in weight classes, each with one title held by the top dog. Also, booking of challengers is determined on who you beat, so in order to get to the champion, you're also going to have to fire through the next best guy.

Anyways, fucking awesome Cowboy promo. Shit is getting real on Impact tonight.

This isn't MMA though, its a worked form of entertainment where they typically insult the fans intelligence by "forgetting" what happened a week before. Honestly, keeping the belt on Devon is not a bad idea, he can go and he's over.
