Brock Lesnar wins 35-second match at WWE house show in Chicago, fans get upset

So...basically the WWE has resorted to taking the similar type of "Heat"
that Lesnar had at Wrestlemania XX & is "twisting" it into their latest
attempt to get Reigns cheered as babyface.

I don't buy into this for a single, solitary second...

I've always known Lesnar doesn't give a shit...(which is why I have no time
for the guy...although the Summerslam 2017 main event & his match with
Styles were fantastic...mainly thanks to the others involved)...

I know how desperate the WWE is to get Reigns cheered...even if they say
any reaction is a good reaction (which is bullshit in this case)

And...

I know I will personaliiy continue to ignore him & his matches until the WWE
does something interesting with him as a character...

His wrestling is not the problem.

He is a boring, generic action figure with no personality or charisma.

I hope the crowd boos so loud they set a new decibel level for a sporting event
at Wrestlemania 34.

I hope the Network subscriptions are cancelled...
I hope the ticket sales continue to be poor...
I hope the money stops coming in...

And maybe then...just then...Vincent Kennedy McMahon will get a fucking clue.

When I saw Roman's promo on Monday I was like "Does the WWE expect anyone to buy this?"

Then I went over to Wreddit like I do to see what they had to say and they were falling for it hook, line and sinker. And they have the gall to call themselves "smarks".

I hate this angle. Let's just try to enjoy it and the light at the end of the tunnel - Lesnar without the title anymore and Reigns being put in good feuds post Wrestlemania

The best part about this match going on last is that I know when to tune out. It's much nicer than having to sit through this stale pairing live in order to get to the matches I actually care about...assuming there are some of those on the card. Despite the abundance of talent they have, WWE doesn't have me feeling very excited for their show of the year.

I think it could work. There is a chance that Roman gets cheered at Mania. The story is pretty good and Roman has been booked well. The thing is you could replace Roman with anyone and the story will still hold up. Well that's not true, considering the history between the two. As for the match itself, it could steal the show.

It certainly is a work. I mean Brock probably will fight in UFC again cuz the payday is good. He will also probably stay in wwe, cuz the pay days are good. Lesnar follows the money. But this angle is being booked smartly. It's about brock being a spoiled part timer and reigns being the company work horse. People will get behind reigns cuz they wanna see the title back on Raw every week

Its not a case of falling for anything...

Its a case of this being another sad, desperate,
pathetic attempt by the WWE to get Reigns over
as a cheered babyface.

Its so fucking forced & lame...

Its like when you were a kid & your parents told

I was always like "No!" and this is the same situation.

The WWE is treating us all like bunch of children
& keeps telling us in direct & non-direct ways to

I'm being manipulated.

I don't want to be manipulated...I just want the WWE to tell
interesting stories & allow their performers to put on the
best possible matches they can so I'm actually entertained.

That why I ignore Reigns...the WWE have made it too hard
to even like the guy.

He's probably a great guy & he can go in the ring...but I
just see him as a company puppet I'm being forced to like.

I mean, eh, at this point, I have no reaction for.. Boreman Lames, as the YT comment section calls him. WWE has forcefed him to me for four years now, and I'm just over him. It doesn't matter if you buy it or not. It's not for people like you who are so determined to hate Reigns who are going to boo him at the event no matter what. This storyline is for the people who are on the fence about booing him, and for those who may be convinced to boo him when everyone else does. This is to get those people to cheer him because he's going up against someone they're portraying doesn't care about them.

Will it work? I hope so because I don't want their main event of their biggest show to be a disaster. Is it a good plan? Not sure, but I'm sure it doesn't matter if you buy it or not.

Why do you seem to have such a hard time accepting that some people might want to cheer Reigns? I want him to win because I want to have a champion that appears on TV every week and can put on DECENT matches. Roman Reigns is in no way a brilliant wrestler, far from it, he's pretty mediocre, but you're seriously in denial of you think he's the worst wrestler in the company and you want WWE to fail simply because you don't like him. And no, I'm not a "troll", nor am I trying to stir shit up, I'm a wrestling fan who happens to not like Lesnar(a part-timer who appears once every month or two for a few minutes to suplex someone) and would cheer Roman Reigns( a decent in-ring worker who wrestles week in, week out) over him. Believe it or not, some people have different opinions, they don't need to be insulted or called a troll for it. And no, I'm not a Roman Reigns fan. There are plenty of people I would rather have as Universal champion, but I would cheer him if it's between him and Lesnar.
