My Opinions:
Roman is a good to great worker...
Roman has no personality or charisma...
Roman was killed by his own push...
Roman is "The Guy" because he will most likely do as he told without question...
The fans have the right to boo & cheer whoever they want...
I stopped watching his matches after the Royal Rumble 2017 when he kicked
out of a brass knuckle shot from Kevin Owens. That is when I realized that
Roman is one big, greasy Samoan joke & I gave up. Granted this was before
he came out at #30 in the Rumble match itself.
Which in hindsight was simply to get Orton over as the winner.
Its amazing that their "Top Guy" can really only be used to get other people
over by having them beat the shit out of him...ven if they do look like a serial
killer.
*Looks at Braun Strowman & shakes his head*
Also...does anyone actually realize how backwards it is that Braun Strowman
is a fan favorite face? I mean he looks like a forest dwelling murderer & he
got over as a face by beating the shit out of Roman Reigns.
Like seriously...does anyone else here besides me realize how backwards that is?
We all know what the WWE is trying to do with Roman...& you can either accept
it or reject it...& I will ALWAYS reject Roman no matter what the WWE does to get
him over...because I'm not even watching the guy anymore.
Just because the WWE books a match doesn't mean I have to watch it...much like
the Ronda Rousey mixed tag match.
I don't care so I won't watch it.
Problem solved.
The WWE can try every trick/angle/storyline/tactic they want...but I'm not watching
or listening to them about this matter anymore.
I feel sorry for Roman because if he was booked probably after the Shield break up
this wouldn't even be an issue...but Vince heard people chanting for him during the
2014 Rumble & rushed everything, killing whatever potential Roman had.
I don't hate Roman...I just hate how he's been booked...and that's not his fault...
because as I stated earlier...he's most likely a "Yes" man & does what Vince tells
him to do without question...and we all know how over scripted & over booked the
entire main roster product is.
Things could have been a lot different if they just would have had Roman wear one
of those "Skeleton Jaw" masks all the time, keep his mouth shut & build him up over
time instead of rushing his push.
The powerful, silent bad ass...and then when he did speak...he could have had him
say basic direct dialogue & it actually carry some weight.
Well...they fucked that up...so now they have to deal with the consequences for the rest
of his career.

And doing what he's told is a bad thing how? That's called doing your job. And he's highly regarded with one of the richest most successful man in America. Tell me how that's negative please. If he didn't do what he's told he wouldn't have the job....

I meant that he is easy for the WWE to control...to keep tabs on...
because lets be honest Roman isn't running off to Hollywood like
Rock, Batista & Cena.
And for the record...there is doing your job...and then there is
mindlessly taking orders without question or any input of your
own.

The lengths WWE go to try and get Reigns to be cheered by fans is laughable. Next they'll have him run into a burning building to save babies and puppies and kittens
I would love it. thousands of people booing because of you. Thats like a drug.
I think what would sting is because he is trying to get them to cheer. Like if he was heel it would be different because he wants them to boo them and he's getting what he wants.
Imo it would annoy him that they are not cheering, and that annoyance will probably last till he sees his paycheck and all those 0s in it and then laugh all the way to the bank.

Vince had his own daughter eat a spear in an attempt to get Roman cheered...
which to me clearly shows he has lost his mind.
So...how would you feel if every time you signed in here...loud booing would
blare out from the speakers...and now matter what you did or what you tried
you couldn't get the booing to stop...and you simply had to smugly grin and
bare it night after night every day for say around 4 years.
That sounds like an awful drug to me.
Honestly...Roman probably thinks Vince is some crazy old man with tonnes of
money & is happy to do what he's told as long as those checks keep rolling in.
Enough money to provide for himself & his kids...and their kids...and their kids.

That's a completely different context. All i'm saying is if I was playing a character in front of thousands of people each week, and they were booing me, I would be pumped. The amount of adrenaline you would get. I would savour the moment.
Walking out into a crowd that are cheering/booing for you is accelerating. I think Roman will be upset if he got no crowd reaction.
Now bear with me here as this is a crazy idea similar to one Foley did many many years ago when he wanted heel heat and the crowd to hate him by purposely having boring matches.
As @Grievous states, this is Roman "He is a boring, generic action figure with no personality or charisma."
So my idea is the following. Make it worse, make every match short, quick and more of him being a generic Superhero. Have him get beaten, battered and then come back with the same few moves and Superhero everyone in his path. Have him cut the most cliched promos they can possibly think of using every Superhero trope in the book. Fans will hate it, but if they get in on the joke will eventually lap it all up. It could turn him into an actual character as he's purposely now trying to annoy the crowd. Make him everything people hate about him and more. He's still going to end up as "The Guy". Kids would still lap it up even more if done right, and adults will hate it and love it equally.
I don't know it's probably a stupid idea but at this stage, I think turning him into everything people hate to generate heat on purpose is more likely to get him over longterm.

Interesting idea. I do think that you would be taking away the one objectifiable good thing about Roman tho... the wrestling. Making Roman a generic Hulk Hogan esque superhero character would completely ruin Roman imo. I think the reason why the minority (or majority,,, I don't know if more people like Roman or hate him) of fans that like Roman is because he isn't the cliche super cena. He's a no nonsense "badass" who wins matches. I think they just need to continue with that character instead of doing some intricate character change to try and win over the internet smarks

Eh it's all good. In the end we will all have our opinions. End of the day, I dislike Roman reigns character on wwe. But on a human level, I feel for the guy who probably got into wrestling with the idea that everyone would like him. Or atleast a lot of people. And even though he's being pushed in a babyface way it's not working as well as it could. And that's why I feel bad on a human level. I don't hate the guy just because I dislike the character he plays.
