If I can use this thread to say this, I'm optimistic for Wrestlemania. And as I thought 31 and 33 were quality shows greater than the sum of their parts, Mania 34 may surpass them both in terms of card quality, and if you remember watching those shows, this match won't be the end of the world.

But I look at both main events and remember how going into both, I didn't like the match happening, but the show was going along nicely and paced pretty well and gave us enough variety to get through the night that ya know what, let's see what happens in the ME.

I figure after a quick buffer match, we'd be coming off two interesting spectacles with stuff that got us talking (Cena's match, the mixed tag) and two quality matches (Asuka/Charlotte, AJ/Nakamura) that'll leave us either in a high at that moment of bored to tears. It's up to them to deliver.

At this point I worry more about the match itself than the reaction - ooooh Roman getting booed oh no - but how will these two match up to get an entertaining match? Will the crowd be too fatigued after an 8-hour show to care? Will they try to sell the drama of finisher kickouts?

No...Finn actually has a character with personality & charisma.
If I may ask, what is Finn's character? Cause since he's returned he's just been a BC ripoff (Ironic, yes). He may be over with the crowd, but he really doesn't have any more character or depth than Roman. The demon thing seems to have been put away, and all he's been doing is yucking it up with Gallows and Anderson.

An eight-year-old kid that blatantly ignores the "don't try this at home" warning puts more effort into wrestling than Brock does.
Yeah same. I have no idea what Finn is suppose to be in WWE. All I know about him on the main roster is that he was a very successful wrestler in Japan and has had history with other former NJPW guys. That about it. Oh yeah he smiles a lot too.

He has a very good character arc and motivation tho The demon shit is really cool too. Is he suppose to be supernatural?

Well first of all...he's Irish...so that gives him a natural charm & charisma...
(see Becky Lynch for another example of this) which is more than I can
say for the Samoan Plank of Wood in SWAT gear.

The Demon thing is an option...& the creative team could do more with it...
but the WWE creative team aren't really that creative...so they can take
the blame for that.

And again "Yucking it up with Gallows & Anderson" at least shows he can
interact with people he's not trying to pin.

I personally believe comparing Finn to the Plank of Wood is an insult...but
hey...its your opinion...you do you.

Oh yeah he smiles a lot too.
Better to smile than have the same boring, smug expression on your face
night after night.

Again...like I said...the Demon could be so much more...but the WWE
refuse to use it in any kind of interesting way. Its a real shame.

I would just keep the demon as a thing Balor uses in big matches. We know its to do with Irish Mythology, and that's all I need to know. I don't really want to see stuff like Balor thinking hes an actual demon and having powers and shit.

Well all nationality's have their stereotypes. I haven't seen Balor show much of that Irish charm yet (Unlike Becky and Sheamus). I mean Roman is Samoan so that means he has natural dumbness and toughness, with the natural ability in rugby and eating by that logic lol.

Hey you said that not me...

I just said Irish people have a natural charm & charisma.

Okay...well...that makes one of us. I think that would be very
interesting to see and allow Finn to show some "range" as a
performer.

But again...I like the more "theatrical" side of wrestling...hence
why I adore Rosemary/Courtney Rush over on iMPACT.

Me mams irish. So that seems to be true...for the most part. *cough* catholic nuns *cough

Moving on swiftly... Roman v Brock can go two ways. A total car crash (in a bad way) or a total car crash (in a good way). Im gonna praise WWE in this current booking of storyline. I think they have done a good job imo. Feels like Heyman has hes finger tips all over it.

Look...I'm sure the match itself will be good...as long
as Reigns isn't too stiff with his knee shots & gets
shoot punched in the head.

As far as the booking of the storyline goes...it seem
lame & desperate & overall serves to build up to a
predictable result...plus with no MitB briefcase at
hand (looks at Moron Corbin & shakes head) this
match is going down exactly how we all think it is.

I don't care about either guy...or the match itself...
and I won't be watching it.

Roman Reigns is Samoan and that gives him a natural charm & handsomeness
(see The Rock for another example of this)
