Well..anyone who's read my RPs knows I already do promos. The difference is, it's a made-up character doing them, instead of Stone Cold or CM Punk.

This comes from my experience in the PWA, where we were simply NOT ALLOWED to pursue farfetched storylines. Vampires? Nope. Monsters? Nope. Ghosts? HELL NO! We had to do stuff that would fly in a real wrestling show. So people like me, who used to be all over the place (at one point I was compared to Vince Russo) actually learned how to, you know, WRITE A WRESTLING SHOW.

Also, in the PWA we had real wrestlers (Sheamus, Barrett, Otunga, ODB, DiBiase, just to name a few), and they squared off against the made-up guys. The difference was, they were THEIR OWN characters, not their WWE/ROH/TNA characters. This helped even the playing field, and yes Slim, it can be done.

I don't think one efed will work if we don't unify it (see above), and even then it is doubtful. Simply because TTers don't like to RP, and some RPers don't like to TT. It's like trying to force everyone in Manchester to be a Man United fan. There's going to be trouble.

As for people stepping up and doing something... :)

Honestly, if you guys need help running an RP fed, meaning created characters and roleplaying to win matches with weekly shows, I can be of some help. Ran a fed for almost four years and I resigned, but the staff that I had still have the fed going. Just need a good staff, match writers, etc.

I don't fuck with e feds with real wrestlers in them, though. Created only.

I'd have to quit my lifestyle and career to take part full-time since they run together. I do quite like my apartment.

Personally, right now I think ACW is doing pretty good. I don't really know what is going on with the UWF even though I was gonna join as the Honky Tonk Man at one point. Not sure if merging them into one would change who is RPing or TTing currently.

Thanks, Fresh! YES, I am of two minds here.

A---I think the ACW is on the verge of greatness. We just popped about 10-15 new characters into the mix with a lot of murmurings for the future. I will rp promos AND storyline. IT's how we did things at PWA (Know you guys are already tired of hearing that but sorry) and I think it will work. It's all about pushing the story forward.

B--Andy and Pete's right. We did quite well in the PWA. WE had solid characters that built storyline for years. We had continuity. AND we also would still be going strong if the powers that be hadn't dropped the site and forced us into this merger.

Bottom line is this: IF we wanted to TT, we got together or started a chain rp and went' back and forth. If we wanted to tell our life history, we did it. But it ALL had to be RELATIVE to the SHOW. If it wasn't , you suffered point wise. We could do a stand alone rp or chain. YOu never knew what the show would bring, but the story always moved forward and we never really got bored. There was always a new angle to push.

I'm not for abandoning what we're doing in the ACW. If you want to join, great. Changes will come...we can talk

Bahaha all this talk makes me feel like the ACW is going to become the equivalent of PWA or XWF in terms of liberties, creativity, and kayfabe. Hell, maybe even the format of the forums. Something I pused for from day one. And yes, it might've been rushing, but if you wait too long on something, it will die.

No need for another fed. ACW is still there for members who like RP feds and UWF is still around for the TTers it has simply gone through a leadership change. If members want to join then go ahead and if you want to get involved in creative talk to the fed owners and volunteer to help. If either fed were to go down then we probably wouldn't add another for a very long time, we have given many feds a chance but it seems like there aren't enough members interested in feds here to sustain them. Hopefully ACW and UWF can survive and grow.

I know ACW will, because the wolves of the PWA have descended upon it, and we're hungry to RP!

The size of our roster right now (even excluding drone characters who are about to be axed), and the number of new characters added to it, is ridiculous! EVERYBODY wants in on this! If you're one of those who left your character to die, then you, my friend, are the loser!

Yeah, Andy...you might be right.

But you forgot the magna carta of efedding. The show, above all else and before all else, must go on. That's what we're doing. The SHow is going on.
Changes can be talked about. Not argued about or pushed. But anyway...I agree with you, TROY, this is a dead subject!
