Nah but seriously, I was going to come here and say he "may as well" cause not much shit TNA throws at the wall sticks so what would they have to lose? They'd pop a rating for a Hogan title match like January last year when he came in...or the year before...or this year...damn he's had a memorable run!

Although half way through my post explaining how a very short title reign would bring some fans in I realised I sounded like a complete tool and that even I can't play devils advocate on this one and I ply my trade playing devils advocate in every day life.

He can have the title IF he gets awarded it, so he doesn't have to bury anyone, by an equally egomaniacal heel on-screen personality but on the same show he loses it to a face Austin Aries or Samoa Joe who comes out and says "you can't wrestle anymore and this company sucks even harder now old man" and wins in about 2 minutes after Hogan misses all his spots because he can't walk and taps out to something or he'll die. Then cool, you were champ at 59, brother!

They gave it to Sting last year whos around the same age, and nobody watches TNA anyway so why not?

Would be pretty damn funny IMO.

I'm just surprised it's taken this long for him to consider it...

I think it'd be pretty fun to see. As well as idiotic, unnecessary, and a huge step in the wrong direction of course.

I like this, lol.

It'd be a great heat-generator for somebody.

I'm not surprised at all that he wants one, I honestly would be kinda' surprised if they actually did give him one though. This is TNA we're talking about however, so it can't be too surprising.

Seems pretty tongue in cheek, but then again never say never with this company.

Thinking about it though, I'd probably rather see Hogan with the belt out of intrigue than most of the world champions I've seen in TNA.

Could be wrong, but I think Hogan is about eight years older than Sting. Also Sting is in working shape and does not have the history of injuries that Hogan has.

Had he not redone the hip that was his recent surgery he would have already been champion, most probably during the end of the immortal angle.

If it happens, then LOL @ TNA as a whole. There is no need for him to even be on TV, let alone wrestling, let alone in contention for the top prize. It accomplishes nothing, diminishes the belt, ruins the guy who drops it to him, and offers absolutely nothing for the future of the business. Unless he jobs to Hardy as part of his and Dixie's continual bending over for the junkie cunt.

LOL Why didn't TNA put the belt on him sooner.

Should've gotten the strap the same day he showed up.....How many people would watch Impact for all the wrong reasons? And wasn't his match against Flair a ratigns draw for them a year or two ago?

Nostalgia is all TNA has booked for themselves since their inception.....don't know why nobody seems to take that in.

Go ahead, let him run with it. Its not like TNA has anything to lose at this point. They are already at the bottom of the bottom in my opinion.

I don't see the issue. Hogan big enough that he can have 1 more title run. JKust can't make it too long just because he can't wrestle. But you can make the storyline really good give him a title shot and have him lose it soon.

Can you explain how the storyline will be really good?

It will involve Christopher Daniels, becaue according to TNA fan logic, he makes everything work.
