How was your year?

With the year almost over, I think it's time for us all to reflect on our 2014's.

Was this year a good one or a bad one? What were your ups and downs? Feel free to share any information on how your 2014 was.

Man, what a year this has been. This year has been great minus a hiccup here and there.

The highlights of my year was my son, Robert (or Baby Swamps), and getting married. My son was born back In Jan and is already walking and saying, Momma and Da Da. Hard to believe he will be a year old in less than a month.

The downside of the year was when I failed out of Trooper School. Didn't pass the Advance EVOC course, but I should be going back to the school next Summer (I Hope). Didn't lose my job, but I was reassigned to the Capitol Division up here in Atlanta.

Congrats on the baby and marriage, I know for sure that you are an awesome father or husband. As well, I know that you will pass Trooper School next year, best of luck on that pal.

It was pretty damn good all round.

I got a part time job I really enjoy, I did well in my end of year exams, I have a good group of friends and I am just enjoying my life overall.

I got divorced, my best friend was diagnosed with cancer and my mother died. Not exactly the best year so I'll be very happy to see it go.

My grades this year in school are my best ever. My social life is going damn well. I got a PS4. Everything has been pretty good. No complaints. Oh yeah the undertakers streak was ended by Brock lesnar. That sucked :

Fuji, I never knew about the divorce sorry to hear man.


Middle of the road year. Successfully negotiated the role of best man for the first time (not heard anything negative about the stag weekend or best man speech, so HOORAY FOR ZOIDBERG), finally passed the management course I'd been on for ages at work, got promoted, then realised I hated the new role : Moved out of my parents at last and into a shared flat with a mate and his missus, that's still going well despite everyone telling me otherwise.

So yeah, some decent progression this year. Sadly haven't run a single race this year due to persistent injury problems, but I guess you can't win them all.

Average year for me. Nothing to important or all that bad so I can't complain other than a few new aches and pains in the joints but I guess that's something to do with being 38.

My daughter starts kindergarten next year so that makes me happy less money to daycare so that should be good.

Just want to say I love all of you guys here and hope you guys a better year in 2015 than 2014 and @Fuji Vice sorry to hear about all the loss in your life. I have been down the divorce road myself. I will drink one for you my friend.
