Pork: Well Round 1 went quite like I expected. Not to many surprises.

Pork:The matchups are not to bad but I see a few of them pulling away from the others in this round.

Fuji:I can see that too but don’t ever count out the upset that can happen in this and every region.

Blade (1)

Pork:Blade sliced his way through the first region with hardy any fight put up. Helen tried but she ultimately was a victim herself.


Fuji: Blade was just to much of a day walker for her.

Pork: This tag team duo barely escaped the clutches of Lori in the first round as she was using her mind control to get them to fight each other and in the midst of the fight they started to hug and then they smoked her.

Fuji: The cute pair won oh my.

Gail Weathers (12)

Pork:Gail is now in life 998 she always lives.

Fuji: That’s true. Is anyone even reading these things or just looking at the pictures above?

Pork:That is a possibility. Alice will win this match then again she could lose she was made in a test tube.

Martin Brody - Oh come on, the man twice faced down a vicious great white shark and both times he came out on top. Couple that with having to deal with the idiotic Amity mayor and an inept deputy makes him the manliest of men and a great hero.

Shaun - As much as I love Macready, there's still a school of thought that by the end of the film, he was another Thing simply trying a last desperate measure to preserve itself. That would kind of take the hero out of him while Shaun was just hero through and through once forced into it.

Ginny - Probably my favourite Friday the 13th final girl, Ginny is a strong female character who stood up to a menace in a pillowcase. Clarice isn't a hero so much as someone simply doing her job.

Alice - As with Ginny in Friday, Alice is probably my favourite heroine in the Nightmare series and I just love her character PLUS she actually survived Freddy twice while Nancy (the other top contender for Best Nightmare Heroine) got smoked.

1. Blade - He made a life out of killing vampires.

2. Gail - Both are lame duck choices. Gail managed to survive a few movies, but she wasn't even the main heroine. Meanwhile, Tina barely did anything in her movie. Hell, she only lived because of daddy.

3. Alice - I really liked Kristen, but Alice made a life out of killing zombies while Kristen died in her second battle with Freddy.

4. Tommy - Easy win for the kid. Not only was he a kid who battled a killer (Once again, a soft spot for me), but he was far smarter than the teens and was the one who actually killed Jason.

Loveable and fucked up Sidney Prescott, everyone's favorite little victim! She's been surviving a living nightmare for over 15 years. Not only has she had to kill her boyfriend and his mother but she's had to take care of her own brother and cousin. Her life's not easy but she survives.

5. Shaun - Shaun Of The Dead

4. R.J. Macready - The Thing

He's Macready dammit!

11. Clarice Starling - silence of the Lambs

3. Ginny - Friday the 13th - Part 2

Ginny showed showed that she was smart and passionate. She didn't panic when she realized Jason wasn't just a myth and she survived.

7. The Frog Brothers + Sam - The Lost Boys
vs.
2. Alice Johnson - A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5: The Dream Master/Child

As with Ginny in Friday, Alice is probably my favourite heroine in the Nightmare series and I just love her character PLUS she actually survived Freddy twice while Nancy (the other top contender for Best Nightmare Heroine) got smoked.

Alice is most definitely my favorite. She's this shy, awkward dreamer who becomes a confident ass kicker by the end of the story. For her family and friends she takes the fight right to Freddy. Not only does she survive twice but she bests him twice. Technically Nancy failed to even beat him the first time. He's still alive at the end of the film and kills her mother. By the time we get to her second appearance he dispatches her father and finishes off the Thompson family by finally taking care of Nancy herself.

Tina but I agree with Jim they both blow

Alice reluctant at first but 8000 movies later is still kicking zombie ass

John Nada is the baddest man on the planet, after finding out about the aliens he could have turned tail or sold out but NO he chose kickass and chew bubblegum....Tommy was a fucked up kid who had little choice but to become what he was

1. Ash - Ash spent three movies battling the evil undead. I always liked that Ash was just a regular guy thrown into the role of being a hero.


12. Dr. Dan Chalis - Chalis didn't need to do anything. He could have easily just stayed in his hometown and tried scoring with a nurse or something. However, he went out to solve a mystery and then tried to save the world. Andy didn't really do anything in the first two movies. He tried surviving and had a lot of other help.

3. Jaimie Lloyd - Unlike Andy, Jamie did a lot to try and combat Michael. Whether it was being bait in Halloween 5 or saving her son with a little clever thinking in H6. I still don't see Jack as a normal horror guy.

2. Buffy - The one was a heroine when she didn't need to be, the other was a criminal who was forced to try and stay alive.
