As noted earlier, The Rock underwent abdominal surgery on Monday after sustaining injuries from his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 29. Johnson's rep confirmed that because of the surgery, Rock was forced to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Pain and Gain.

Director Michael Bay also commented on the surgery and offered the Rock some advice from the red carpet:

"Dwayne's hurt tonight. He was pushing it too hard. [He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men."
Michael Bay who ruined films based on children's memories wants a person to stop doing something because it reminds people of their childhood when he's on TV. Why Michael Bay do you hate the children? Why?

Michael Bay should grow up and stop relying on explosions to "make his movies good".

Besides he is probably jealous that Rock doesn't need to be a director, and force actresses upon him if they want a job to get laid.

I always lol at people who say Michael Bay ruined Transformers, great films in my opinion.

As for this, I can somewhat see where Bay is coming from. We all thought Rock was done, it almost kind of seems like he's back just to relive his glory days.

But at the same time I dislike Bay for saying it because I've enjoyed seeing Rock back.

So much hate over nothing. He didnt say it to be mean, he said it while laughing and joking in the actual video and Rock was cool with it. Bay even said he wants to see rock wrestle more matches

He did specify only "300-pound men". Maybe he's just sick and tired of seeing too many giants. Gotta say, I sort of agree with him.

Why should I care what Michael Bay thinks of anything that has to do with wrestling?

This makes me wish I'd posted this article last night as I knew that the other half of his comments wouldn't get posted.

HHH said "Who is 300 lbs."

The Rock said something along the lines of funny shit "I should start wrestling women"

And Bay basically said watch the video it's obviously I'm poking fun at the fact that the rock missed the premiere and we all laughed knowing it "was a joke"

it was all on prowrestling.com today tried to find it in their archives but that apparently takes you to only TNA shit.

Yeah I don't care what Bay has to say on anything, even if he is trying to woo us with his poor excuse for humour.

If Michael Bay were serious about that, I wouldn't have an issue with it. The part where he'd have a very valid reason to criticize Rock is when other activities start hampering your ability to fulfill the obligations that come with your main job. If you end up missing filming for a movie because your side job injured you enough to have surgery, if you end up missing things like premieres, then it affects your career. What if other casting directors worry that your activities on the side will potentially push back filming for their movie and it makes them wary of hiring you?

It's not like the WWE has been known to be very tolerant of their people doing outside jobs either. Exceptions exist and generally it seems to be under very select circumstances.

Wow. A shitty porn director turned shitty Hollywood "film maker" thinks he knows how to entertain?
Seriously, this flop artist has had way too much to say for way too long. How he is still in business is anyone's guess.
Maybe if the Rock had more explosions in his movies, he'd change his tune, but some people know how to use plot structure.

Until Bay produces a decent film, no one should take his advice on Hollywood, film making, or acting seriously.

Successful? How about Pearl Harbor, a movie that bombed harder than...well...the bombs! Or how about Armageddon? A film so horrendous that Bay himself went onscreen and apologized for making it? Oh, and Bad Boys *shudders*.

This pretty much says it all. It's an opinion, no need to totally trash the guy. He admitted later that he's happy for The Rock.
