This Thursday, we are treated to the first ever High Octane Wrestling show, as Carnage gets the ball rolling live from The Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, which is of course the old home of WCW. This promises to be a big show, as not one but TWO championships will be decided live on Carnage, as well as the beginning of a tournament for the X-Division Championship.

The Genesis Championship will be on the line in a Four Corner Match, as Matt Morgan, Elijah Burke, Mr Kennedy and Paul Burchill all try to put themselves in the history books as the first ever Genesis Champion. Of course, they will not all be able to win, as only one man will walk out champion. The question at hand is who will that person be?

The Extreme Championship will also be decided with Jimmy Jacobs taking on the ECW Original, the Sandman. Many see Sandman as a master of extreme, but with a new age leader in extreme in Jimmy Jacobs in the ring with him, which man will prevail?

The first round of the X-Division Championship Tournament will take place, with Jamie Noble taking on Samoa Joe. This is sure to be a hard hitting, high flying matchup, with only one man staying alive in the tournament. Who will that man be?

As well as that we have a Tag Team Match between The Hooliganz, and the team of Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes, plus so much more.

This definitely isn’t a show to miss.​

Hey Elijah is a mixed martial arts wrestler and he is a great man to have as your first champion. He can work the microphone too and well I feel it would be smart to give it to him atleast first.

Jimmy Jaccobs vs. Sandman
Sandman is old and washed up/imo Jimmy Jaccobs is the future and I think you are really going to give him the ball and run with it and by first giving him a win against a legend. Though Sandman will put up a great fight and we will get ourselves an Ohhh my god moment of the week.

Jamie Noble vs. Samoa Joe
For some reason I see an upset win. Noble is a great competitor and you are probably going to give him a mid card title and Joe will make his way upper into the main event scene after losing this match and forget about it.

Hooliganz vs. Dibiase and Rhodes.
Just to even things out some heel wins and some face wins. no real reason behind chosing them.

Looks great Kendrick; Ill drop a review by when it is up. A very good card for the first show and I am sure this BTB will start off with a high note and great action will be shown in the first Carnage show. lol Good name by the way (I have Carnage too).

A plain black screen is shown to begin the broadcast.

Narrator: When one man, when one company is in control for too long, things become stagnant.

Mr Kennedy is shown.

Narrator: People who deserve a spot, don’t get it. Other people who haven’t earned their spot, keep it.

Randy Orton is shown.

Narrator: Some people are just loaded with potential, yet are never utilised to their full extent.

Paul Burchill is shown.

Narrator: Other people are just flat out ignored.

AJ Styles is shown.

Narrator: But with a new company, does it have to be that way? Do the deserving have to get held back? Of course not. The deserving will get exactly what they deserve. Meanwhile, those who deserve nothing shall get nothing.

Sabu is shown.

Narrator: Now is the time to go extreme.

Samoa Joe is shown.

Narrator: Now is the time to show that ‘X’ factor.

The camera then cuts to the top of the new HOW stage, where pyro explodes, firing the fans up for the big night. We pan around The Georgia Dome, the home of WCW, where the sold out crowd are showing their excitement by yelling out and holding up their signs. We then cut to ringside where we see our announcers, JR and Paul Heyman.

JR: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever High Octane Wrestling Show. This is Carnage, and that may just be what we can expect to see tonight, with two of our titles to be decided!

Heyman: That’s right JR, tonight we have both the Genesis and Extreme Championships on the line, as well as the beginning of an X-Division Championship Tournament! What a night it should be!

=Wreck=


Mick Foley makes his way out in front of the crowd to a big pop. The HOW General Manager walks down the ramp and rolls into the ring, where he grabs a microphone.

Foley: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to HOW Carnage.

The crowd pops.

Foley: As General Manager of HOW, I just felt that I should come out here and thank you all for coming to the first ever Carnage! This is a big night for the company, and I appreciate each and every single one of you joining us here. So thank you!

The crowd pops.

Foley: Now I could harp on about how big this company is, and how we have two HUGE titles match tonight. Or about how we have the best wrestlers in the world. Or about how we are not only the future, but also the present of professional wrestling.

Foley winks at the camera.

Foley: Or I could let you watch some wrestling!

The crowd pops.

Foley: And I think that seems to be the popular choice. So ...


=Voices=


The cold, conniving ‘One Man Dynasty’ Randy Orton walks out to a bucket load of heat from the crowd, who clearly do not approve of Orton’s presence. If Orton cared you couldn’t tell as he walked down to the ring, cool, calm and collected like always. He climbs up into the ring, then gets a microphone handed to him, before standing in front of Foley, the heat still pouring in.

Orton: Mick, I believe you are forgetting something. You’ve come out and got your little pop from the crowd, but you forgot the one big announcement that you are meant to be making.

Foley looks at Orton and reaches his arms out to the side, asking Orton what in the world he is talking about.

Orton: Look Mick, we’ve been through a lot together. We’ve spat in each other’s faces. We’ve slapped each other across the face. We’ve hit each other over the head with steel chairs. And hell, we’ve even dropped each other into thousands and thousands of thumbtacks. Despite all of that ... no, because of all of that; I respect you. And I know that you respect me back. After all, beating you was what cemented me as a ‘Legend Killer’. So because of this respect, you know what you have to do. You know that you have to officially announce me as the first ever HOW Champion.

The crowd boos, not wanting Orton to be the first champion.

Orton: Come on, Mick. You know that deep down, I’m the best you have here. I'm your hottest commodity, and you know that you want to keep me happy. You know that you want to keep your top guy happy. So just name me champion, and we can get on with the show.

The crowd boos, hoping Mick won’t do it, as they definitely don’t want to see such a repulsive human being as their HOW Champion.

Foley: I could do that Randy.

The crowd screams out, “No!”

Foley: But something tells me that the people here in Atlanta, Georgia ...

Foley gives the thumbs up as the crowd pop.

Foley: Don’t want to see that. And come to think of it Randy, neither do I. But since I’m a fair man Randy, I’ll tell you what. Tonight, in our Main Event you go one on one with ‘The Enigma’ Jeff Hardy ...

The crowd pops at the mention of the big match.

Orton: What? You have got to be kidding me!

Foley: Hang on, let me finish. You go one on one with Jeff, with the winner going a long way towards getting himself a shot at the HOW Championship.

Orton: What do you mean?

Foley: Well Randy, that’s for me to know, and for you to find out. Bang bang!


=Wreck=


Foley walks over to the ropes, then drops to his back and rolls out of the ring down to the floor, while Orton looks at him, obviously not happy with the announcement.

JR: What an announcement from Mick Foley! That is a big Main Event that we have here tonight.

Heyman: And one has to wonder JR, what exactly did Foley mean when he said that it would go a long way to securing a title match?

JR: Only Mick Foley knows the answer to that question, Paul.

The camera cuts across to the backstage area, where Matt Morgan is shown walking towards the camera.

JR: Matt Morgan is coming for the Four Corner to decide the first ever Genesis Champion, and that match is up next!

The camera cuts to show Dave Penzer standing in the ring.

Penzer: The following contest is a Four Corner Match, with the HOW Genesis Championship on the line. It has a thirty minute time limit.


=Sleeping Giant=


‘The Blueprint’ Matt Morgan makes his way out in front of the crowd to a reasonable pop. He poses, then walks down the ramp and climbs up into the ring.

JR: The genetically jacked, physically stacked Matt Morgan is a menacing force, and he is going to be a hard man to beat here tonight.

Heyman: That he is, JR. I mean look at this man, he is huge! It’s going to take something big to keep him down.

Penzer: Introducing first, from Fairfield, Connecticut, weighing 330 lbs, ‘The Blueprint’ Matt Morgan!


=Generator A=


The Englishman, Paul Burchill walks out and poses to some small heat. He then walks down the ramp and climbs up into the ring, before posing on the turnbuckle.

Heyman: This man is someone who may be able to take Matt Morgan down. ‘The Ripper’ Paul Burchill is damn near unstoppable when he gets going.

JR: There’s no doubt that the Englishman is talented Paul, but can he cope with the pressure of the big time?

Penzer: From Chelsea, England, weighing 247 lbs, he is ‘The Ripper’ Paul Burchill!


=Turn Up The Trouble=


The brash, confident fan favourite, Mr Kennedy steps out to a big pop from the crowd. He poses, then walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring, where he poses as a microphone drops down into his hand.

Kennedy: Ladies and gentlemen, HOW now brings to you the future of the professional wrestling. Weighing 243 amazing lbs, from Green Bay, Wis-con-sin ... Miiissssssssssttttttteeeeeeerrrr Kennedy!

The crowd cheers as Kennedy walks across to the turnbuckle, then mounts it and poses.

Kennedy: Kennedy!


=Don’t Waste My Time=


The former master amateur boxer, Elijah Burke walks out, with a big smile plastered across his face as the crowd boos. He walks down the ramp, then climbs up into the ring.

JR: Elijah Burke is confident as always, now he just have to prove himself by winning the belt here tonight.

Heyman: Don’t be surprised if it happens, JR. Burke is very, very good.

Penzer: Their opponent, from Jacksonville, Florida, weighing 230 lbs, Elijah Burke!

Matt Morgan vs Paul Burchill vs Mr Kennedy vs Elijah Burke

We start off the first ever match to take place in HOW with Paul Burchill and Mr Kennedy. After a small bit of mat wrestling, Mr Kennedy was able to get the advantage. Burchill was able to comeback though, before Elijah Burke tagged himself in. Matt Morgan also tagged in, and the big man used his power at first to dominate Burke, until Burke was finally able to duck a bicycle kick, leaving Morgan to fall out to the floor. Burchill looked ready to assault him, before stopping and telling Burke he could do it himself.

Burke left Morgan out there, before attacking him with kicks when he came back in. After using some more cheap tactics, such as chokes to keep the big man down, Burke went over and mouthed off to Burchill. Burchill wasn’t having any of that rubbish though, as he tagged himself in by slapping Burke! Burke wasn’t happy as he had to leave the ring, while Burchill came in and kept control of the big man while being unsuccessful to score the victory. Burchill even nails three DDT’s, but Morgan kicks out twice, with Kennedy interrupting the third pinfall! With Burchill frustrated, Morgan tries to launch a comeback, but Burchill goes with a rake of the eyes. Morgan scores with a flapjack on the running Burchill straight after though, before both men crawl across to their corners and make tags.

Kennedy and Burke charge into the ring, with Kennedy taking control. He hits some clotheslines and throws Burke around with a back body drop and a suplex, before going for a pin which gets interrupted by Burchill. Morgan then climbed back into the ring and charged across to NAIL A BICYCLE KICK ON BURCHILL, SENDING HIM FROM THE RING TO THE FLOOR! Morgan then follows Burchill out, while Kennedy waits for Burke to get up. When Burke does, Kennedy nails a roundhouse kick on the second time around, sending Burke down to the corner. He then hits the facewash, while Burchill reverses an Irish whip and sends Morgan into the steel steps! Kennedy goes for the pin, but for the second time Burchill interrupts with a kick straight to the head. Kennedy groggily gets to his feet, hurting from the kick, ONLY TO BE NAILED WITH THE C-4! Burchill gets up and Burke charges across, before nailing him with a knee to the mid-section, and hitting a 4up combination, sending him falling out of the ring! Burke then backed across to the other corner and called for the Elijah Express. Kennedy pulled himself up with the turnbuckle AND BURKE WENT FOR THE FINISH, ONLY FOR KENNEDY TO SIDESTEP! Burke stopped himself just in time, ONLY TO TURN AROUND INTO A MIC CHECK! Kennedy hooks the leg of Burke, resulting in the three count!

=Turn up The Trouble=


Kennedy gets back to his feet and the referee raises his hand in victory, before the referee hands him his newly won Genesis Championship. Kennedy looks down at it with a huge grin upon his face, his happiness shining through. He is so proud of himself that he forgets to announce himself the winner, as he instead holds the belt up high to the cheers of the crowd.

JR: Mr Kennedy, our very first Genesis Champion here in HOW!

Heyman: And boy is he happy about it, JR.

JR: So he should be. It’s a big achievement.


The camera cuts backstage, where we see Lacey with Jeff Hardy, eliciting a cheer from the crowd.

Lacey: Jeff Hardy, earlier tonight Mick Foley announced that in the Main Event of the very first HOW show, you would be going one on one with Randy Orton, in a match where the winner would go a long way towards getting himself a HOW Championship shot. First of all, how do you feel about facing Orton, and secondly, what do you think Mick Foley’s announcement means?

Hardy: Lacey, I feel good. In fact, I feel great! I’m happy that I get the privilege of being in the first ever HOW Main Event. I really couldn’t care who it was against, because it would be an honour no matter what.

The crowd cheers a small bit.

Hardy: Now I know that Randy is tough, and I know that he is not going to be easy to put down.

The crowd boos at the mention of Orton.

Hardy: But you see, I will stop at nothing to win against not only Orton, but anyone in the world. I’ve always been looked upon as some who’s close, but not quite there. Someone who screws up their chances. Well tonight, I make sure that doesn’t happen as I do all that I can to prove to not only all of these fans that I belong in the Main Event, but also to HOW management. As far as Mick Foley’s announcement goes, I have no idea what it means. But if it gets me closer to achieving my goal of being champion, I’m all for it. This is a new beginning for professional wrestling and this is a new beginning for Jeff Hardy. And tonight, I intend on proving that!

We come back from the break, as Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes are walking down a corridor, seemingly on their way down to the ring. They pass by Randy Orton, looking right at him. Randy Orton stares right back at the and just sneers, before DiBiase and Rhodes turn and continue walking.


=Rocker=


The heavy beat pounds through the arena, as Paul London and Brian Kendrick walk out to the top of the ramp to a decent pop from the crowd. They then sprint down the ramp and slide into the ring, before posing on the turnbuckles and flipping back onto the canvas.

JR: Well here is Paul London and Brian Kendrick, but what an interesting stare down we saw moments ago between Randy Orton and Rhodes and DiBiase.

Heyman: There is definitely an interesting relationship between these three men, with Orton not showing them much respect.

Penzer: The following contest is a Tag Team Match, and it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing a combined weight of 369 lbs, the team of Paul London and Brian Kendrick, The Hooliganz!


=Priceless=


The confident second generation stars, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes walk out down the ramp to a small amount of boos from the crowd. They make their way into the ring, with Rhodes posing next to the ropes and DiBiase on the turnbuckle.

JR: Well here are those two men who may be looking to prove themselves after what looked like some disrespect from Randy Orton.

Heyman: We have two of the most young, talented teams here who will both be looking to prove themselves to become future HOW Tag Team Champions.

Penzer: Their opponents, weighing a combined weight of 467 lbs, the team of Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes!


Match Two

The Hooliganz vs Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes

London and Rhodes start the action off for their teams, showing some mat wrestling to start things off, with London trying to ground his bigger opponent. Rhodes was able to try to counter out of the side headlock with an attempted back suplex, but London flipped over and landed on his feet. He then hit some arm drags, before The Hooliganz started to tag in and out, using double team moves that focused on the arm of Rhodes. After awhile, Rhodes is able to comeback as he drops Kendrick across the ropes, winding him. He then tags in DiBiase.

DiBiase slowly works over Kendrick with right hands and a neckbreaker, only drawing two though. Cody and Ted start to then make regular tags in and out, keeping fresh while keeping Kendrick in the ring. They use their basic offense of knee drops, right hands, suplexes and scoop slams to great effect, with some double teams and cheating also in to try to do as much damage as possible to Kendrick. Continuing the basic, old school offense, Rhodes locks in a sleeper hold, trying to wear Kendrick out to the point where he is knocked out. It proves unsuccessful though, as Kendrick fights back to his feet. he then tries to fight back with some elbows, before attempting to run off, only to be thrown to the mat by the hair viciously by Rhodes. Rhodes then slowly stumbled over and tagged in DiBiase. DiBiase came into the ring cockily, signalling for Kendrick to get up. Kendrick slowly did, but as soon as he did he rocked DiBiase with a big dropkick, sending him down to the mat.

Kendrick then dives over and tags in Paul London, while DiBiase rolls to his corner and tags in Cody Rhodes. Both men come into the ring quickly, but London is the one taking control, using some dropkicks to take over the match for The Hooliganz. London makes the cover after a few dropkicks, looking to get the win for his team, but DiBiase interrupts the count at two. DiBiase then picks London up, only for London to knock his hands away and follow up with a dropsault, sending DiBiase out of the ring, while LANDING ON TOP OF RHODES! Kendrick comes into the ring and charges across, before going for a suicide dive onto DiBiase. DiBiase is able to sidestep though, LEAVING KENDRICK CRASHING INTO THE CROWD BARRIER! London meanwhile gets back to his feet, before running off to the ropes, bouncing off them and landing a shooting star press on Rhodes. He grabs him and drags him across to the corner, ready to finish him off.

As he starts to climb up the turnbuckle, DiBiase climbs up onto the apron and distracts the referee. Harry Smith then runs down the ramp, as London gets right up to the top rope. Smith climbs up onto the apron though, THEN PUSHES LONDON, SENDING HIM DOWN TO THE MAT TO CRASH AND BURN! The crowd boos as Smith drops from the apron and ducks down out of visions. DiBiase leaves the referee, as Rhodes gets up and tells London to do the same. London gets up, and he gets DRILLED WITH THE DDT! Rhodes hooks the leg and picks up the three for his team.

Winners: Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes via Pinfall @ 7:37


=Priceless=


Harry Smith rolls into the ring, as does Ted DiBiase, and the three man link hands, before raising their arms up high while the crowd boos.

Heyman: Priceless with a big win here tonight, right JR?

JR: That it was Paul, but could they have gotten it without cheating?

Heyman: These kids are talented, they didn’t need to cheat and nor did they cheat. If they had, they would have been disqualified!

JR: Oh come on Paul, you know well and good it was behind the referee’s back.


The camera cuts backstage, and we see Mick Foley behind his desk in his office, looking at some papers. A mixed reaction is then heard, as Chris Jericho comes into Mick’s office.

Foley: Chris, what can I do for you?

Jericho: Foley, you know well and good what you can do for me. Or rather, what you should have done for me. You should have put me in the Main Event. Not Jeff Hardy; me!

The crowd boos heavily.

Jericho: Mick, what are you promoting by putting someone like Jeff Hardy in the Main Event? What kind of message are you sending to the public by not only putting Jeff Hardy in a Main Event match, but by also setting him up for a chance at the HOW Championship? Mick, Jeff Hardy is someone who chronically screws up. He’s a drug user, he’s a liar, and quite frankly, he’s scum.

Heat pours in.

Jericho: Meanwhile, you have someone like me waiting, wanting a match but being unable to get one. So tell me Mick; what’s the deal? Why are you putting someone like Jeff Hardy ahead of me? Why are you putting some coked up kid ahead of someone who is not only a role model and an honest man, but also the best damn wrestler you’ve got?

Heat pours in again.

Foley: Chris, I have to do what’s best for business as General Manager, and you know as well as anyone that Jeff Hardy sells. You’ll get your chance to prove yourself soon enough Chris, but tonight is Jeff Hardy’s night.

Jericho: We’ll just see about that.

The crowd boos as Jericho walks out of Foley’s office.

=Enter Sandman=


The familiar beat plays, as the camera searches around the crowd, searching for the beer swilling, cigarette smoking ECW Original. The camera eventually finds him, as the Sandman walks down through the crowd, who are all cheering and patting him on the back, with a beer in one hand and a Singapore cane. He walks down the steps, then climbs up onto the crowd barrier, then opens the beer can and pounds it against his skull, before sculling it quickly. He jumps down from the barrier and throws the beer can away, before smashing the cane into the apron and climbing into the ring.

Heyman: The Sandman is the man of extreme! JR, this man is a former ECW Champion, and tonight, he should be adding the Extreme Championship to his already extreme résumé.

JR: I know where he came from Paul, but I think you’re a little overconfident.

Penzer: The following contest is an Extreme Match, and it is scheduled for the Extreme Championship! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing 240 lbs, the Sandman!


=The Haunted=


Jimmy Jacobs makes his way out to no big reaction from the crowd, with a few cheers and a few boos being heard. He walks down the ramp with a steel spike in hand. He starts to climb up into the ring, when Sandman cracks him in the side with the cane!

JR: Well, with this being an Extreme Title Match, it is of course, an Extreme Match meaning no count out, no DQ and falls count anywhere.

Heyman: And just look at Sandman take it right to Jacobs, using the rules to his advantage!

Sandman vs Jimmy Jacobs

Sandman continues to go after Jacobs with the cane, after Jacobs dropped his spike in pain. Sandman whacks him again, causing him to fall out of the ring. Sandman then took it to Jacobs outside of the ring, hitting him with the cane until Jacobs finally ducked a shot. The two then brawled around ringside, with Jacobs getting the upper hand and pulling out a few weapons out from under the ring to use, including a garbage can lid, a stop sign, a garbage can and a baking tray.

The action then moved back into the ring, with Jacobs continuing his assault, until he thought he had the control, at which point he picked up his steel spike. Sandman got back to his feet, WITH JACOBS WILDLY SWINGING AT HIM, TRYING TO STAB HIM IN THE HEAD! Sandman ducked under it though, escaping near certain defeat. He then kicked Jacobs in the midsection, causing him to drop the spike, BEFORE DROPPING HIM WITH THE WHITE RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP!

Sandman then fought back to his feet, before telling Jacobs to get up. Jacobs got back to his feet, and Sandman went right onto the offense, starting out with some jabs before taking him down with a haymaker. Sandman then went through a flurry of offense, slamming Jacobs into the mats quite a few times with a suplex, neckbreaker and scoop slam, only to get a two for all the effort though. Sandman then rolls out of the ring, and grabs his cane for all to see. He comes back in and measures Jacobs, wanting him to get up. Jacobs gets to his knees by pulling himself up the leg of Sandman, as Sandman raises the cane, ready to strike. JACOBS SWINGS HIS ARM UP THOUGH, AND CONNECTS WITH WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE!

He then takes the cane out of the hands of Sandman, before DRILLING HIM IN THE HEAD WITH IT! Sandman wobbles on his feet, and Jacobs grabs him around the head, then runs over to the corner AND NAILS THE CONTRA CODE! Jacobs looks set to hook the leg of Sandman, but instead he shakes his head, saying no. He then gets back to his feet and walks across to the ropes where his steel spike lays. He picks up the spike, then stands over Sandman, telling him to get up. The heat starts to come in, as the crowd don’t approve of Jacobs’ actions. Enough is enough, and in their opinion it has been enough. It isn’t enough for Jacobs though as he almost begs Sandman to get up, a sadistic smile on his face. Sandman slowly pulls himself up, but he would soon wish he hadn’t as JACOBS STABS HIM IN THE SKULL! He hooks the leg of Sandman as the blood starts to flow from his forehead, picking up the win.

=The Haunted=


Jimmy Jacobs gets to his knees before wiping his hand across the face of the Sandman, gathering the blood onto his hand. He then wipes it across his chest, before the referee hands him his newly won Extreme Championship. Jacobs wipes the remains of the blood across the centre plate of the belt, almost as if he is baptising it in a sick ceremony.

JR: Well we now know about this young man Jimmy Jacobs and what we can tell you is that he is one sick, twisted individual!

Heyman: JR, he is also our Extreme Champion, and I for one like Mr Jacobs. I feel he would have fitted perfectly in the original ECW!

JR: Well you’re not wrong there, Paul. You were a bunch of misfits after all.

We come back from the commercial and see Lacey standing by backstage in the interview area next to Samoa Joe.

Lacey: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Samoa Joe!

A small cheer is heard from the crowd, with some of them familiar with Joe.

Lacey: Joe, up next you go one on one with Jamie Noble in the X-Division Championship Tournament First Round. What are your thoughts going in to this?

Joe just stands there, looking at Lacey. He then walks straight past her and away, before the camera cuts back to ringside, where we see Dave Penzer standing in the ring.

Penzer: The following contest is a First Round Match in the X-Division Championship Tournament, and it is scheduled for one fall.

Jamie Noble makes his way out to a small pop, holding his hands up. He then walks down the ramp and climbs up into the ring, before posing on the turnbuckle.

JR: Jamie Noble is as tough as a two dollar steak, but just how tough is Samoa Joe?

Heyman: Well Joe looked deadly focussed before, so I don’t like Noble’s chances.

Penzer: Introducing first, from Hanover, West Virginia, weighing 202 lbs, Jamie Noble!

Samoa Joe walks out, to a smallish reaction from the crowd, mostly cheers. He walks down the ramp, then climbs up into the ring, not posing or anything, just looking dead focussed.

JR: This man Samoa Joe looks like he is focussed on his goal, and that goal is the X-Division Championship.

Heyman: And from what I’ve seen of Samoa Joe, he’ll get what he wants.

Penzer: His opponent, from American Samoa, weighing 290 lbs, Samoa Joe!

Jamie Noble vs Samoa Joe

The match starts out quickly, with Noble trying to get some offense in on Joe straight away, as he went with right hands. He then went for a kick to the midsection of Joe, only for Joe to catch his boot then take his head off with a clothesline. Joe takes control, using jabs to keep Noble in the corner. He then whips Noble across to the opposite corner, before charging in at him. Noble is able to dodge and run off though. Noble goes for a clothesline on the turning Joe, but it doesn’t knock him down. Joe just stands through it. Noble went for another one, but Joe connected with a snap powerslam, turning the tide of the match.

Joe completely took over, going through his offense, which included his powerbomb/half Boston crab/STF combo, as well as the facewash and his single leg dropkick/senton splash combo. Joe then thought he had it in the bag, as he at Noble up for the Muscle Buster. Noble was able to counter back though, kicking Joe right in the face. He then came back with a missile dropkick and a tornado DDT, with both only drawing twos. Noble then tried to go for the fireman’s carry rib breaker, which JR told us he was now referring to as the Noblizer.

Noble was unable to lift Joe though, resulting in Joe coming back with multiple backhand slaps, sending Noble back to the corner. He turned his back, then hit a turning enzuiguri. Joe sat Noble up in the corner, then NAIL THE MUSCLE BUSTER, before LOCKING IN THE COQUINA CLUTCH, with the referee stopping the match.

Winner: Samoa Joe via Referee Stoppage @ 6:13


=Killing Beat=


Joe gets back up to his feet, looking down at Noble with a look of sick satisfaction upon his face. The referee raises Joe’s arm as he looks down at Noble.

JR: Samoa Joe looking amazingly impressive here tonight. He just wants to hurt people from the look of it!

Heyman: And that may take him all of the way up to the X-Division Championship.

JR: Well there are still six other men in this Tournament, so don’t be positive that Joe has it just yet.

The camera cuts across to a graphic, promoting the Main Event of Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton.

JR: No one can quite get a reaction from the crowd like Jeff Hardy, and by God, does he ever get it. Jeff has never been a World Champion, but right now is the time he can get closer to his goal of being one.

Heyman: Well we heard what Chris Jericho had to say about this man earlier, and I have to say that I agree with Jericho. Hardy really is nothing but a screw up.

Penzer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Cameron, North Carolina, weighing 230 lbs, Jeff Hardy!

Randy Orton walks out in front of the crowd for the second time for the night, receiving a cold reception from the crowd, who are showering the third generation star with boos. He walks down to the ring slowly, before climbing up into it and posing on the turnbuckle.

JR: Randy Orton has had an interesting night tonight. Not only did he demand the HOW Championship, but he also had a slight run in with Rhodes and DiBiase earlier.

Heyman: Orton is the man around here JR, expect to see a lot of him.

Penzer: His opponent, from St Louis, Missouri, weighing 245 lbs, Randy Orton!


Main Event
Singles Match
Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton

The match starts out with a little bit of wrestling, with Orton and Hardy both using headlocks early to try to not only wear down one another, but to also feel each other out. Jeff gets the advantage at first, after taking Orton down with an arm drag. He hits a few more, before going back to the headlock. Orton is able to launch a comeback when he gets out of the headlock by raking the eyes of Hardy. He then takes him down with a dropkick, hitting Hardy right in the jaw.

Orton showed his intent as soon as he got on the offense, using stomps to keep Hardy down straight away. Orton kept the control of Hardy going for the next portion of the match, working over his head and neck, only drawing two out of every pin attempt though, never able to get the three. Orton kept the assault up though, going back to one of his preferred moves of a sleeper. Hardy fights back up out of it though instead of quitting, before turning and hitting a jawbreaker. He stumbles over to Orton, looking to follow up, only to be clotheslined out of his boots.

Orton went back to the sleeper again, looking to wear Hardy down to nothing. It was again unsuccessful though, as Hardy fought back up to his feet again, this time coming with elbows to the midsection of Orton. He gained some separation and ran off to the ropes, before coming back and ducking an Orton clothesline so that he could execute a one armed sleeper slam. Both men slowly get up to their feet, with Hardy recovering from the earlier beating and Orton recovering from the big move from Hardy. Hardy takes complete control of the matchup, using his speed to his advantage, with kicks being the main source of his offense. He isn’t quite able to put Orton away though, leading him to go for the Twist of Fate, despite the fact that Orton probably isn’t weak enough for it. He sets Orton up for the move, but Orton pushes Jeff off to the turnbuckle, ONLY FOR JEFF TO RUN UP THE TURNBUCKLE AND COMING FLIPPING BACK WITH THE WHIPSER IN THE WIND!

Luckily for Orton, he sees Hardy coming and drops down to the side, leaving Hardy to crash and burn. Orton then grabs the struggling Hardy in a sleeper again, before lifting him back onto his feet and dropping down to his knees with a backbreaker on Hardy. He makes the cover, but can only get two from it, with Hardy showing that he is still alive in the match. Orton looks to finish that though, as he drops down to the mat and stalks Hardy, wanting to finish the job with the RKO. Hardy gets up, and Orton attempts to strike on his prey, JUMPING UP INTO THE AIR IN AN ATTEMPT TO END THE MATCH VIOLENTLY WITH THE RKO! Only Hardy is able to counter, pushing Orton forward. Orton lands on his feet, then turns around right into a kick to the midsection, QUICKLY FOLLOWED UP BY THE TWIST OF FATE! Hardy looks around, then rushes across to the corner and climbs to the top rope. He looks set to jump, when suddenly the lights go out.


=Break The Walls Down=


Hardy looks at the entrance way, waiting for Chris Jericho to apparently come out after his disparaging remarks about Hardy earlier. Hardy is snapped back to his match though by a fist to the head from Orton. Orton then grabs the hair of Hardy and drives his skull into the top turnbuckle a few times. Hardy wobbles around on the top rope, and Orton grabs him around the neck, BEFORE PULLING HIM FORWARD AND DOWN, SNAPPING HIS FACE DOWN INTO THE MAT WITH A VICIOUS RKO! Orton hooks the leg of the quite possibly unconscious Hardy and gets the three.

Winner: Randy Orton via Pinfall @ 13:13


=Voices=


Orton gets back to his feet and stands over the body of Hardy, with the referee raising his arm up in the air. Orton looks as smug as ever, while the crowd boos, unhappy that Hardy practically got screwed out of the match by Chris Jericho.

JR: Well Randy Orton has done it, but not without Chris Jericho getting involved out of nothing other than jealousy of Jeff Hardy being in the Main Event.

Heyman: Come on JR, you know Hardy shouldn’t have been there! Jericho is right!

JR: You may think that Paul, but I just can’t think that Jericho did this for any other reason. He wanted to be in the spotlight, but Jeff Hardy took it away from him.

The camera cuts down on Hardy, who is just starting to move as the camera fades away.

Review of Carnage

Good start with the entrance package, you always go the bit extra and it pays off.

Foley with a good introduction, that was thankfully kept short. I don't like the way you write entrance music as it is a bit distracting and big compared to the rest. Bolding people's names is also unnecessary imo, but this is just pickiness. I also think you focus too much on crowd reaction which is also not needed, tbh it doesn't matter why the crowd boo, as it's obvious. Orton promo was good and in charachter. Nice main event and should deliver.

Four way match coming up, and I take it the Genesis title is the mid card title. Thirty minute limit? Time limits suck imo. Too much effort for the entrances imo. I mean, it's great that you give them so much explanation, but it really doesn't add to the show, and you could save explaining everything to PPV. I don't like this match type, and I doubt the wrestlers would let themselves get tagged in. I see you are using a half recap style that kinda works well, imo. The capitals thing for big moments was scary imo, and I wouldn't do that again if I were you. Kennedy winning is alright I guess. Why was there a 30 min limit if the match went for 13. Pointless, imo.

Alright promo by Jeff hardy, and I didn't expect more. Lacey as interviewer? I would have preferred Torrie. Next match was the tag team, and Priceless were so going to win this one. Harry Smith sucks, he should stay out of that stable imo. Jericho promo is pretty good imo, and set up interest for a possible main event attack. Ugh, I hate blue writing on black skin, but I'm too lazy to change.

Ok, now is the X-Division bout and I'm almost certain Joe will win. I hope he doesn't end up with the title when all is said and done though. Ok, I like the double finish thing and the referee stoppage, but I think an explanation on the stopping of the match would be good, even if it's obvious. Lol at Noble not being able to lift Joe, what a fatass. Anyway, the right man won and looked dominant doing so.

Next is the Main Event. I like the pace of this match and I find no problems with your writing style, it makes for interesting matches that do not falter off into too much description. Hardy counters the RKO into the Twist of Fate, just like the reverse of what Orton did at last years rumble. Pwnage. Goes for the Swanton, but Jericho's music plays. I would have prefereed him walk out onto the top of the stage and just glare, or maybe snicker at Hardy. Anywayy, SUPER RKO!!! Awesome imo. The match ends, setting up Hardy vs Jericho and Orton vs someone, lol.]]

AC- One thing I may suggest is maybe you could cut some time off when describing entrances and commentary, and put it into your matches. I would rather read a longer match than Heyman talking about everybody during their entrances. I was only pointing out the things I didn't like in this review, and you can see how picky the things were, proving HOW great this show was, pun intended. Great first show, keep it up.

Carnage Review

First off, no Recap. I tried it too, it was too strange.

Loving the video Package at the beginning. Like X-Power said, it payed off. I like the sound of two titles on the line XD. JR and Heyman will work well together. Foley comes out. Foley is spot on here. I was glad he thanked me for coming to the first show. Oh no, here comes Randy

That guy is full of shit! *kayfabe moment* Looks like you have nailed Orton on the head too. I lol'ed at Orton's first line, and Foley being so ridiculously clueless, and stupid, not to realize what he is trying to say. Nice references to there amazing IC Title, Hardcore Match. Great match. *gasp* He wants to be first ever HOW Champion. How come I can tell Foley will tell him to earn it.

ZOMG! I was right. Well, he did word it differently. Predictability, lack of interest. Looking forward to the match, it iz eh gunna be gud!!!11!! One thing, WTF? How can these imbeciles be so foolish as to not know what, "Long way to securing a title shot" means. Surprisingly it means going a long way towards getting a title shot. Lol.

Should be a good match, anyway. Mr. Kennedy is my fav to win. Should be good. First off, like what you got going with the CAPITAL LETTERS. Brings more impact to the match. Liked this match, Glad Kennedy went over. A push? Anyhoo, good ending. Liked how you make it seem like Burke was okay, but then suddenly he was not again, and was nailed with a Mic Check. Tad short for my taste, but I know nowadays you are pushed for time.

Jeff Hardy interview. Yummy! Forget that I ever said that :shifty: Anyhoo, I like where you are going with Jeff, instead of being a dark face, you have him mellow, excited, and generally a great guy. A Supper Baby Face I call it. Only prob is, this can get stale. So he is in a super heated feud, you can switch him dark, so he does not get boring, and have him say, "No more Mr.Nice Guy!"

Next, you have a Tag Match. Kendrick and London together, FTW! Priceless are a good team too. Don't mind who win's this tbh. I guess, Londrick though. I liked the style of writing in this match, so you are not explaining every single detail, which can get boring. Harry Smith!!! Second Gen Superstars Stable? Hope so. Classic heel tactics, super heat! Good match man.

Right then. Promo time XD! Classic Heel Stuff from Jericho. I like his conniving approach, trying to get his way into the Main Event. The obviousness of a Hardy attack in the Main Event is out of this world. Good promo overall. He sounds so horrid and sick, making references to Jeff's Drug Use.

EXTREME! Looks awesome. I would love to see this match, in real life. Stab him in the head this early? NUTTERS! I hope to see him do it properly :shifty: Anyhoo, this is going good and extreme. Lol @ Sandman hitting a hay maker. Don't actually know why it made me laugh either. Cane to the head! Contra Code! ZOMG! Spike to the head! Dude, that is sick. Jacobs won, good. I am guessing the spike is going to be a usual thing he takes to the ring?

Next we have a promo. Well not really a promo. Joe did not say anything. This confuses me

Lol. Joe vs. Noble? Strange. Joe is obviously going to win. It was a good match none the less. Not too much of a squash, which is good. I liked the ending, with a double Finisher thing. It was cool, and it made Joe seem angry and frustrated, wanting to get things done. Are you going for a heel, monster Joe? Seems like, and I like it.

Main Event! I loved this match. Greatly written. "The match starts out with a little bit of wrestling" LMAO! Well of course it started out with wrestling. That's what people do in a wrestling match generally. Lol. Anyhoo, Started off slow, and got quicker and quicker, before coming to a climax but no! Jericho halts the pace of the match quickly. Suddenly you know it is over as soon as Orton smashes Jeff Head with a fist. Great stuff.

Fab first show my man. Bringing a new BTB out in a month. Remember to review it. Final though. I see a Jericho vs. Hardy feud, surprisingly.

But who will Orton feud with for the title? RVD? Angle or Cage? Will he feud for it at all? (probably)

 

[Qwake]

Opening promo: I like Mick Foley as GM, and this promo started well with the basic intro sort of thing to the company and I knew someone was waiting to come out I just wasn't sure who it would be. I am glad it was Orton cause he is awesome and both men were in good character, I also liked how you brought up the history of the two. Good way to open the show and announce the Main Event which should be great!

Opening four corners match: I didn't know what to expect at first, I haven't read recaps from you before and I usually like your normal writing style but the recaps aren't bad. This was a decent match from what I had read, would have been great in full. As soo as I saw Burke enter the ring last I thought "here is the winner" but I am really shocked that you gave Kennedy the win after all the hate you used to give him lol. I see a Kennedy/Burke feud here which I always wanted to see, should be some good promos as well as matches between the two. You kind of buried Matt Morgan in this match, dunno if that was the plan but he didn't look to well until the bicycle kick. Good match though and I can't wait to see where Kennedy goes from here.

Jeff Hardy interview: Basic interview, quite boring which means that it was very in character for Jeff. It was pretty much the same old stuff which is all Jeff says so overall nothing to bad about it. I guess it brings a little hype to the Main Event too.

The Hooligans Vs Priceless: This match started off well with some good quick action, it was fast paced for a while but as the match went on it started slow down a little which was good. I predicted The Hooligans to get the win here but again I was wrong thanks to the interference of Harry Smith, I don't like Smith but he could do well in the Second Generation team. Good heel victory from what would have been a pretty good match. I'm not sure if that was just to build Priceless up and get them heat or if it was to start a feud but I am interested to see where this goes.

Mick Foley/Chris Jericho: You really nailed Chris Jericho here, you got his character very well and again Mick was quite good too. I can see Jericho interupting the Main Event trying to get himself put in a match where he can work his way up to Main Event status. Good little chat here and I wonder what Y2J will be up to...

Extreme Championship Match: This was a pretty brutal match. I finally predicted right, I knew you wouldn't have Jacobs lose. Some good action in this match, good use of weapons as there should have been and good ending making Jacobs look even better by using the spike instead of ending it when he should have. I dunno where he is going from here on out but I expect a big storyline for him or atleast some good matches/defences.

Jamie Noble Vs Samoa Joe: Well what JR was saying before the match I didn't like Noble's chances, I thought it was going to be worse then it was but I am glad you gave Noble a little bit of a fighting chance. Good win for Joe, you made him look very dominant as he should look. The X-Division Tournament is something to look forward to in this BTB, there shall be some good high flying matches with alot of my favourites in them. I see big things for Joe in this BTB!

Main Event: Wow, I was really into this match. Hardy and Orton mesh well together in the ring and both of their styles are great to read. I liked how you gave Orton all of the headlocks/Sleepers because that is very realistic and having Hardy come back well each time with a new huge move kept the match pace moving along nicely. The ending was awesome, Randy got the win which also makes me happy! But I am lost as to what you are gonna do for them now lol.

AC: Great first show, I am liking the changes in your writing. You are actually putting good effort into the commentary which I think alot of people should start doing because it really shows us what match we are leading into and stuff so nice job with that. The matches in recap are actually quite good, it saves people from reading long ass matches on a normal show when they could just read your good long matches on PPV. The angles you have going seem to be looking good too. Sorry for taking so long to check this out lol. I like the idea of the one hour show, that way when you have nothing there for a certain superstar on Carnage he can just go and do something on Velocity which is good thinking. I was starting to wonder why you didn't use many guys on this show but I am guessing you will be using them next week in the X-Division Tournament or in tag team action and I am still curious as to who is in the Main Event scene so Ill try to check out next weeks show or skim through Velocity if I get the chance to.

 

[THE Brian Kendrick's Biceps]

Over the last few months, we have all seen Montel Vontavious Porter of WWE be tested out with a long losing streak. Many people around WWE think it’s to make sure that MVP is in WWE for the long run, and that he won’t do a Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar and just walk out. However, it may have backfired.

For the past month, WWE have been trying to negotiate with the so called high paid entertainer in SmackDown! history. MVP has shot down all offers immediately. The WWE are in a pickle here, as MVP wants a push before he re-signs his deal, while WWE want him to continue to lose to make sure he is committed in the long term to the greater cause of the WWE.

Something is going to have to break here. If the new kid on the block in High Octane Wrestling can look like it is at least going to be viable competition in the future, MVP just might find himself signing there. This can’t be something WWE want, after earmarking him as a future champion upon his arrival on the blue brand.

We’ll have more on this as it develops.

The rating for the first ever HOW show has come in, and it is a very promising 2.42. Although this is well behind RAW, it is a huge improvement on what iMPACT! used to rate, and is getting quite close to SmackDown! territory.

Rumours are suggesting that if Carnage was to start to get higher ratings than SmackDown!, then the HOW braintrust may consider moving Carnage to Friday night, in an attempt to show WWE that they mean business.

Coming off the back of what was quite an impressive debut for HOW Octane, they have signed three huge sponsors, which will guarantee them a profitable future. Subway, Cadbury and Pepsi have all inked deals with the new promotion, in what is a shock for WWE, as they were sure Subway would re-sign with them.​

Thanks for the feedback so far guys as well. Really appreciate it, and I think the second show is going a little better than the first.​

MVP is really awesome, and I can see him fitting in your BTB, not only regarding the grand scheme and needing a ME heel, but also I can see him meshing well with many others in the BTB.

As for the rating, I see it as a little unrealistic as the first show should have prebably been lower than it was, before allowing the rating to climb. I don't see them eclipsing Smackdown for a while though.

And regarding the sponsors, I think the stealing right under the WWE's nose is the very beginning of what could be an eventual HOW vs WWE feud, in the not-so-near future. Cadbury is pretty tasty though so that's a plus.

[Moonlight Drive]

Sweet little thing at the start. Foley and Orton had some good interaction and bringing up the history between them was cool, rather than ignoring it. Hardy vs Orton looks to be rather epic. Good start to the show

It's nice to see you're putting effort into everything, but you truly are wasting your time putting that much into entrances. I'd rather see the other aspects do better than extended entrances. Anyway, onto the match. Nice opener, but I noticed you slipping in and out of 1st and 3rd person throughout. You should keep your eye on that. A nice finishing sequence, I'm kinda eh about Kennedy being champion, I'll see what you do with him.

Enjoyable Hardy promo, unlike his usual real life ones. Seems to me you're going to go for the same angle WWE is doing, Hardy getting so close yet so far.

Orton, Rhodes & DiBiase? I hope they don't join into some stable, since we're already seeing that in WWE. I don't know why Randy would give either respect either tbh. Another good match, it was more about the debut of Smith than anything. Some more of the 1st/3rd problems, but Harry joining about with DiBiase and Rhodes more than likely spells them forming a stable. I've changed my tune actually, I'm into the idea of a stable, if, it's not the same to WWE and you cut your own mould, which I'm assuming you will.

Awesome promo with Y2J/Foley. Triple Threat at your PPV with Orton/Hardy/Jericho, I feel it in my waters. Best promo so far.

Sandman continues to go after Jacobs with the cane, after Jacobs dropped his spike in pain

1st/3rd in the same sentence. I'll leave that alone for now though, just thought I'd show you what I meant. I don't think there was enough back-and-forth in this match, it was really just Sandman throughout the beginning, then Jacobs, then finish. But the finish was awesome, spike to the skull. I knew Jimmy would be champ, I'm intrigued to how he'll be used.

Perfect Joe promo. No talk, just action. You made Joe look great in this match, whilst still keepping Noble with a little credibility. He is going to storm through this tourny.

Match of the night by far. These two guys mesh so well, wish they'd have another feud. Like I said, best match by a long shot. There was some a lot of great action ad the finish was the icing on the cake, Y2J vs Hardy perhaps?

Overall, good first show. I much preferred your old style but whatever. You should watch your 1st/3rd person writing. Right now, you've left a lot for me to want to see your next show, so I definitely will.

Actually, all is in third person. 1st person is 'I', second person is 'you', and third person is like a narrator. At no point did I say 'I', and it stayed from a narrator's perspective. All in third person.

The backstory was good, but a little too elaborate imo, not that theres anything wrong with that. I just dont see the importance of writing out every little conversation as the details in a backstory are not what make it good or not. Nevertheless you have a good roster, but I don't like the BTB name. 'HOW Champion' doesnt have a ring to it ya know. Good luck again.

I totally agree - and I understand if it seems "necessary" to brush over every conversation with a fine tooth comb to relay important facts of information regarding a BTB. That has to be respected.

The problem is, there's so much of it - and we're not here to read the Wall Street Journal. Online reading is normally subject to "getting the facts out" straight and simple. That doesn't mean you need to make the storyline basic, it just means if you want a larger audience reading your BTB, I'd suggest shorter, sharper and to the point.

Over the last few months, we have all seen Montel Vontavious Porter of WWE be tested out with a long losing streak. Many people around WWE think it’s to make sure that MVP is in WWE for the long run, and that he won’t do a Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar and just walk out. However, it may have backfired.

This got me interested. Will he be joining HOW?

For the past month, WWE have been trying to negotiate with the so called high paid entertainer in SmackDown! history. MVP has shot down all offers immediately. The WWE are in a pickle here, as MVP wants a push before he re-signs his deal, while WWE want him to continue to lose to make sure he is committed in the long term to the greater cause of the WWE.

Geez, what will happen. You have a nack of keeping me reading.

Something is going to have to break here. If the new kid on the block in High Octane Wrestling can look like it is at least going to be viable competition in the future, MVP just might find himself signing there. This can’t be something WWE want, after earmarking him as a future champion upon his arrival on the blue brand.

I hope he does sign. MVP is fantastic on the mic. Gards take note of what JAmes is doing here. He is making, getting a big wrestler, realistic.

The rating for the first ever HOW show has come in, and it is a very promising 2.42. Although this is well behind RAW, it is a huge improvement on what iMPACT! used to rate, and is getting quite close to SmackDown! territory.

Already? Tad unrealistic. I would like them to build it up. But it is great news for HOW.

Rumours are suggesting that if Carnage was to start to get higher ratings than SmackDown!, then the HOW braintrust may consider moving Carnage to Friday night, in an attempt to show WWE that they mean business.

Lol, RATINGS WAR! I would love that.

Coming off the back of what was quite an impressive debut for HOW Octane, they have signed three huge sponsors, which will guarantee them a profitable future. Subway, Cadbury and Pepsi have all inked deals with the new promotion, in what is a shock for WWE, as they were sure Subway would re-sign with them.
