They bill Kofi as being from Ghana, West Africa during his ring entrances and everything, but when talking about him in articles and other times, he's JAMAICAN. He used to talk in a JAMAICAN accent, but that was scrapped for some illogical reasons after they started saying he was from Ghana. And to top it all off, his theme is still JAMAICAN. Every time I keep hearing they say he's Jamaican, it drives me nuts. Like seriously, it makes me want to kick an infant every time.

It pisses me off more that he's still employed.

I haven't heard them reference Kofi as being Jamaican lately.

Articles as in like magazines? WWE magazine has been wrong on several different levels ever since it switched from the Raw and SD magazines. The newer magazines are a joke, and that isn't even the WWE Kids magazine.

I do agree on the theme song though. If they really want to get away from Kof's "Jamaican past" they really should have changed his theme song. They need to give him some Wyclef.

There are TONS more people that are more useless than Kofi tbf. TRUTH, Hornswoggle, Kozlov, McIntyre, and Khali just to name a few.

It pisses me off that they put him in the program with Orton late last year and nothing came out of it. For a second there we were all high on Kofi because his feud with Orton was more interesting than anything going on on Raw at the time, then Sheamus became champion and all of a sudden WWE dropped Kofi.

No, "we" weren't. We were shocked for one day that he can speak fluent English and has some sort of a character. Then realized he's still shitty, boring, sucks up to the crowd, has terrible theme music, terrible 'catch phrases', terrible signature moves (and signature move names, CONTROLLED FRENZY!@), terrible finisher, terrible unnecessary and unneeded build up to said finisher, etc.

I don't understand why everyone was so high, and mighty on him when he was to debut. His career highlights include being carried by Orton, a decent feud with Shelton, and being squashed by Sheamus.

Kofi Kingston the 2010 version of Rocky Maivia

I made a thread about it last year. He just smiles alot and never talks. He's a one dimensional character that won't ever be able to evolve, unless the WWE goes back to a more adult oriented direction and transforms Kofi into a Voodoo believing, Jamaican drug dealer badass heel. (lol, it would work, you guys)

It totally would work if they brought back the blood & adult content. He could be like King Willie from Predator 2, but younger. They'd have to make Kofi a true believer in the LOA without going over the top like they did with Papa Shango (Baron Samedi ripoff). They'd probably name a finisher "Roll the Bones" or something as lame. I never saw the appeal of Kofi, he is one dimensional & can't sell for shit.

^ Adamle actually said "Kofi's Jamaican me crazy", was a complete fail.

It's kind of annoying that they now say he's from Ghana when introducing him for a match but later on talk about him being Jamaican and stuff. He's also complete shit imo, I wouldn't release him though, I'd just job him to all the other midcarders and try to help them out. Can't believe they gave him a feud with Orton :smh
