yeah and I'll keep saying I have no idea why you think this when the guy still can't cut a promo at a main event caliber. Match wise he's great. but he's well below average in promo and charisma, and general overness. I don't see main event in him whatsoever in this company and while I respect your opinion, I just don't get it at all.
See, I would say the same thing to you. I see a guy like Sammy oozing charisma and when you say that he doesn’t have any, I think are we looking at the same guy? I mean there’s a reason why a legend like Jericho has kept that kid near him for what is it at this point, 5 years? In two different versions of his group because he clearly sees the future in him and he’s been his number two guy this entire time he’s pushing him for something so I think if Jericho see something and I feel like I’m in good company. Respectfully as well.

I also feel like Tony clearly thinks Sammy has a future because he’s always fitted somewhere in the company. Always with top guys. Usually getting pushed.

As for cutting a promo, I don’t know I think he’s fine. But that’s also why like I thought pairing him with Don Callis was also a pretty good idea because that’s the whole point of of being in a group like that is you put the guys that are generally not as good on the promo and you let Don cut the promo.

So yeah, agree to disagree on Sammy.

I mean that post I was responding to was you already saying I lost you lol.

Again, I’m equally as perplexed how you don’t think Sammy Guevara is awesome. But like I said, I’m at least consoled that I believe Jericho and Tony do see something in him so I think that kid is gonna go somewhere even if I’m alone in that thought on here.

However, I will say oozing was probably a bit of a strong word, but he definitely has charisma. I just get fired up because I think this kid has it and I’m dying on the hill that this kid is awesome.

see you're not understanding. I do think Sammy is awesome. I don't think he's a main eventer though (**in aew) I wrote a whole paragraph as to why but I deleted it because it felt kind of mean and I actually don't wanna tear the guy down.

I mean that’s fair enough but to me those are conflicting thoughts. I would never call someone awesome if I didn’t think that they had the potential to go to the top. If I thought someone was midcard for life like is often the argument around Taven or Cody or Jarrett to me that’s not awesome. I think that guy is literally mid. Like I know he doesn’t have what it takes to be a top guy but it’s just perspectives I guess.

Yeah that's not at all conflicting thoughts. I can like a wrestler and still see limitations in their game and their placement on the card.

Like I said, it’s all about perspective, but I think there’s a difference between liking a wrestler and thinking a wrestler is awesome. Awesome is a pretty strong word in my opinion. Here’s the thing too like I like some wrestlers that I don’t necessarily think will be a world champion, but I don’t think I would like argue against them becoming a world champion if you know what I mean. Like you said, you wrote a pretty long post, but then deleted it because you thought it got pretty mean. I can’t think of a wrestler I liked I would do that with. I would probably just say I don’t think he’ll be a world champion this year, but maybe in the future.

Anyways. We disagree.

I think danhausen is awesome but I don't ever want him in the main event. Same with pco or minoru suzuki

Fair enough like I said, we just have a different perspective on what we think is awesome.

I’m still kind of just busting your balls while also defending Sammy just because I like Sammy, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion of course.

Like I was saying in the previous post though I just think it’s interesting because like I said, I don’t think I can name a wrestler where I would feel strongly enough about them to say they’re awesome but then also feel the need to categorize in all the ways that I don’t think they’d be awesome enough though to be in a main event program. But that’s just me I guess maybe.

I think the Matt Taven thing is still the most relevant for me in general. Because I feel like when you say like this person‘s gonna be a future world champion I don’t necessarily mean he’s gonna hold it six times for a total of like 1000 days. I just mean like maybe in two years he will be in a good story with maybe MJF or whomever he might get a win on pay-per-view hold the belt for three months and then drop it to somebody else and then maybe not touch it again for another two years. I think people, have this idea that someone has to be pigeonholes as either a mid guy or main event guy when I think people can kinda do both and it’s entirely possible.

Honestly God bless him and luck to him and TNA. But I don't see this as a big signing. If I'm wrong then good for him. But I don't think this is a difference maker for TNA

Not everything needs to be a difference maker, though.
