Scorpio Sky Vs El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado

Hombre Blanco gets the biggest pop from the crowd as they enter the ring. He also gets the upper hand early in the match, and the audience witness some good old fashioned lucha libre inspired rasslin'. A nearfall already after 1 minute but Sky kicks out and fights back. They take the match outside the ring for a moment, where they exhange a couple of irishwhips onto guardrails and steel steps. They get back into the ring at the referee's 16 count (Remember the 20 count out rule in GDR) El Hombre gets the upper hand with a kick to the midsection and a necbreaker manouver. He leaps up on the second rope and connects with a modified Lionsault. He makes a cover 1....2... No! Sky kicks out right before the 3 count! They exhange some grappling moves on the canvas before Sky gets El Hombre into a bridge pin position 1....2.....El Hombre reverses 1.....2....No! Sky kicks out! El Hombre gets back on his feet first and charges for the ropes. Sky counters and delivers a dropkick to El Hombre's legs. He covers him 1.....2....No! El Hombre kicks out! Both men gets back on their feet and hooks up with a test of strength. Sky gets the upper hand and twitches El Hombre's neck into an painful submission grip. El Hombre fights back and with a couple of elbows to Sky's face he is lose from the grip. He charges for the ropes again, and this time he succeeds. Spear! Sky goes down with a force! El Hombre makes the cover 1.....2.....3!

Round 2 In The GDR Gold Rush Tournament
Mistico Vs Matt Sydal

Anticipated matchup here and the crowd goes wild when the two performs move after move, almost dancelike between the ropes in the squared circle. They exchange blows and kicks and both make good use of the ropes, the turnbuckles and the ring apron. Mistico nails a swinging DDT to Sydal but Sydal manage to get his foot on the bottom rope when Mistico covers for the pin. Sydal grabs Mistico and puts him in a cradle pin. Mistico kicks out and both men gets back on their feet. The crowd continue to cheer for both men during twenty minutes when Sydal gets the upper hand after a yakuza kick who sends Mistico into the ropes. He knocks Mistico down with a clumsy lariat and climbs the turnbuckles. He leaps off connecting a Shooting Star Press to Mistico. He covers 1....2.....3!

Round 2 In The GDR Gold Rush Tournament
Jack Evans Vs Super Dragon

The fans starts to chant This is Awesome even before the bell is rung. There is no upper hand in the opening minutes as they exchange moves and counter moves. Some stiff shots and kicks are also delivered. Evans goes for the ropes but gets knocked down by a lariat. But Evans is back on his feet as quick as he gets knocked down. Dragon charges for another attack, but Evans manage to get out of the way with a Matrix like manouver. He reaches for Dragon and grabs a hold or Dragons arm, performing a arm drag like manouver, sending Dragon halfway over the ring. Evans gets back on his feet and goes for the turnbuckles, but Dragon manage to stop him and throws him off the second turnbuckle with a powerbomb. Dragon covers 1.....2.....Evans kicks out! Both men gets back on their feet and they exchange a couple of blows before Evans fails with a Yakuza kick. Dragon takes advantage and lifts Evans up for a Barry White Driver. No! Evans reverses it into a DDT! Dragon goes down and Evans wastes no time, making a cover 1....2....No! Dragon kicks out! Evans puts Dragon in a submission manouver, but Dragon manage to get his hands on the bottom rope and the referee breaks the two men apart. Evans gets back on his feet first and charges for the ropes. He uses the ropes, bouncing back, knockind Dragon backwards onto the ropes on the opposite side with a dropkick. Before Dragon manage to retaliate, Evans charges again and connects with another dropkick, sending Dragon over the top rope and down on the floor below. Evans waste no time leaping over the top rope, landing a Flying Bodypress on Dragon outside the ring. The referee starts on his 20 count as they exchange shots, still lying down on the floor. Dragon gets back on his feet and nails a knee to Evans' face then rolling him back into the ring before he enters himself, breaking the referee's count on 12. Dragon lifts Evans up for another Barry White Driver attempt. But again Evans manage to get out of the hold and counter attacks, this time with a Neckbreaker. Evans covers 1....Kick Out! Dragon sends a couple of stiff shots to Evans before he gets back on his feet and charges for a big swing with his right arm. No! Evans gets out of harms way and sweeps Dragon's legs, putting him in a submission manouver. Dragon struggles to get to the ropes, but Evans got lucky, locking the submission in the middle of the ring. Dragon, with brute force stands up on his feet, with Evansd still hanging on. Samoan Drop! Evans crashes with the canvas from the impact and Dragon quickly lifts Evans up, for a third Barry White Driver attempt. This time he connects! Evans goes down and Dragon makes the cover 1....2....3!

As Super Dragon celebrates his victory in the ring, a pretty big masked wrestler enters the ring and knocks him down with a vicious clothesline. He lifts Dragon up on his shoulder and nails a Death Valley Driver. The show ends with the masked wrestler posing over Super Dragons lifeless body.​





OOC: I skipped commentary and backstage segments for this show, just to get it back on track again. I will do some major changes after the first PPV.
