So I came across an awesome quote this morning and I thought I'd share it with all of you here....

If I were not an atheist, I would believe in a God who would choose to save people on the basis of the totality of their lives and not the pattern of their words. I think he would prefer an honest and righteous atheist to a TV preacher whose every word is God, God, God, and whose every deed is foul, foul, foul. -Isaac Asimov

Pretty cool no? Anyone else have any interesting quotes that they'd like to share? Well if you do, here's the place.

"my sport is your sport's punishment"

no one is really sure where this came from, but it's the best running related quote I've ever come across. Makes us runners sound bad-ass.

It's not how many times you fall, but how many times you pick yourself back up.

I read this quote about 20 years ago and it has stayed with me. I don't remember who said it though. I thought it was a great quote and still do.

I've been rich and I've been poor, and being rich is way better. Money isn't everything but it doesn't suck.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy.’ They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.

- John Lennon

Thomas Jefferson, who warned his fellow citizens over 200 years ago about what is happening today by saying:

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

Someone on my Facebook news feed said "It doesn't matter what year it is, if your heart is in a bad place at 11:59 pm then it will still be in the bad place at 12:01 am."
