Its nice to have a brother who's gonna buy this. And he's still in High School, so when he goes off to school it's all mine haha. Can't wait for it. I loved Grand Theft auto 4, and this looks 1000x better than that. There's a lot of good games coming out soon.

Appears to be the official final map. Think this is from the guide book. May not look it that much at first glimpse but jesus it is huge by looking at comparison pics, scale, etc. And pretty much everything on the map is used in some way like the ocean.

Leaked Xbox 360 version shows that GTA V is indeed, under development for both PC and the PlayStation 4.

Hope it's not just a rumor and a fulfillment of what people have been predicting all along, the prospect of GTA V not being on PC keeps me up at night.

Awesome start to the game. I can't wait to get deeper into this world and just do absolutely everything there is to offer.


Any purpose to the buddy/friend stuff? If I remember correctly in GTA 4 it would build relationships and stuff.

I was playing tennis before and it was WAY to easy.

I'm pretty sure my GPA is about to drop to like a 1.5. This game's ridiculous. I got mine at the midnight release.

Michael's son getting him high then the cut scene with the monkey's and aliens then to top it off with the flying, MAGICAL!

Might be my favorite part so far

Trevor is amazing.....felt the game started off kind of slow but stuff really got intense with Trevor....most of his missions have been my favorite so far.

I just got to Trevor too and I must admit his missions have been the best, although I think I prefer Michael and Franklin personality wise.

Surprised there isn't more discussion happening in this thread.

I'll do a little positive/negative thing:

Positives:

3 characters just breathes a massive fresh air into the story. I often find myself pondering who to use next, just to check what they've been up to really.

Driving. A big step up from IV.

The world. Amazing.

Great cars everywhere.

I could go on and on with the positives but I think we all get it.

Negatives:

Random occurrences don't happen often enough!

There aren't reasons to explore around. There's barely any collectibles (50 space parts and 50 scrap papers). I just wish there cash stashes, upgrades or even weapon cases to find scattered around the world.

Takes a little too long to lose wanted level.

Fuck do I suck at flying. Was bad at it in 4 and I'm having issues again .

As for characters so far Trevor and Michael are my favorite really not a fan of Franklin as I've found most of his mission pretty blah....and his whole story is just overdone.

Took me at least 9 tries to fly the plane but Copter was allot easier.
