They are still trying to get everyone to forget about Jake Roberts, and the Steroid scandal of the early 90's. Funny 30 years ago Vince would have drug dealers get the guys drugs before a match, now they cant even smoke a joint at home.
Current WWE fans weren't even born in the early 90s. Eddie n Benoit like everyone said was the catalyst. again, they don't have to do any of that, vbecause their employees are independant contractors and you can't babysit your employees when they get home....But WWE seems to because Blue government officials brought them to congress for a day and wasted everyones time.
Most IWC fans might not be, but critics sure as hell were, and people like that will not forget an employer buying narcotics for his performers, and pushing steroids on his performers very easily. Eddie & Benoit just happened in the age of information, so they didn't need a documentary to make it as well known.
Throwing out alot of unfounded allegations aren't we? Federal government probe couldn't link McMahon to pushing steroids on to his employees and his only charge was receiving a shipment of his own personal stuff when it was still legal. As for providing Jake Roberts with drugs, more bullshit. It's really easy to throw out lies when facts are not even bothereed to be looked at because it's rasslin.
