Tough one as I actually don't think Karate Kid is a good movie per say, just that it is a constantly enjoyable, cheesy, guilty pleasure of a romp. I have issues with Redemption's ending, but then it does have one of my favourite actors in Tim Robbins so he swung it.

Karate Kid is also extremely dated. Just not the movie it was 30 years ago.
