Power Rankings could help with people showing up, as well as shows and quality of the RP counting towards a future title match.

Again, we discussed these ideas in Creative, but as former ITR members will tell you, we tried them there, and the reaction was a massive "meh". We usually got in the vicinity of 2/3 votes, including the person who had started the thread (the exception being the end-oyear awards). Of course, here there are at least twice as many of us on the fed, so it may work better, but that was why I initially stated that these ideas would not be worth the bother. But maybe in the near future we could start trying them out, yeah.

The Power 10, for instance - would you guys prefer a character one or a roleplayer one?

Pete, what kind of staff member would present ideas and be doubtful of whether or not they would work? :p

At first, the PWA's RPOTM/ROTM were successful and manage to get a large number of votes. However, when we started to lose members, people became less motivated to write and read other peoples' rps in general. Thus, those two awards died. We did try to revive them later on, but in the context of a thread, so people really didn't see our posts about it. Mostly because said posts were made within a results or recap thread.

Personally, I'd love to see a character Power 10/15/25 like the one I used to do with Claressa. I miss those days. That was so much fun, especially using the icons from the renders on psd dreams, although here we have PY.'s minitrons, so it would look a lot better.

I've read some stuff. I don't like the creative direction of the e-fed and I kind of blame Pete for that, a lot. However, I wasn't a big fan of ACW when I first came here too, which is why 75 % of the people we brought over to ACW left within a week. But since the topic title is "Giving something back" then I think it is appropriate to compliment Pete.

I think I can speak for Slim and every other staff member at ACW that Pete is probably one of the greatest possible acqusitions to the staff team because yeah, okay; might not be the smartest or most logical but he tries, and this just proves it. Yeah, the rep system doesn't mean all that much, but would you rather have no credit and shown NO feedback as opposed to a rep for at least doing a RP? At least they are doing SOMETHING. Showing SOME kind of appreciation.

Whether it is dumb, sucks, or doesn't mean shit, you guys joined the e-fed to RP and that is it. So in my opinion, reps, award system or fake money or anything else other than just the opportunity to RP itself is a bonus. So thank you.

You're welcome Nick.

Just to clarify, we don't really have any creative input in the RPers individual production. If anything we've actually been trying to cut down on the more garish stuff. By that I don't mean stopping anyone from writing what they want, I mean stuff like making sure a vampire character is not insanely powerful, and all that stuff that I've always spoken against when it comes to RPing.

And Nick, it's not like I'm the fedhead...I'm actually more active in the public relations side of things (with initiatives such as this one) rather than storylines and booking.

You guys had your style but our style was already here and working. Seeing as how "all" these people never rp'd once I'd be more inclined to say they didn't like the forum as a whole or that they chose to go other places they were already members of as that often happens. It amazes me how interested your are in a fed your not a part of. You come off as a dick even in your praising of Pete who along with everyone else is doing a good job. If you don't like this place I will gladly find the man that has a gun to your head forcing you to be here and kill him so that you may leave.

I'm kinda curious who the 75% who left are, though, considering: me and BDC are still here, as are Sean, Flip, Andy, Ashez, RRS and EOM. Shaun is on hiatus due to Internet problems, but will be back, and Ryan and Scott were never RPers to begin with. The only people who didn't join were you (Nick), Chris (who says he doesn't want to RP at all now) and Steve. And the only person who outright left was Steve.

So I'd say, if anything, 75% of the people are still around, not the other way round like you implied.

THAT HAS NEVER BEEN A GOOD EXCUSE! Jesus Christ! You all defended him when he was such a prick to me on ITR by just saying "Nick is Nick". Fuck that! He hasn't joined the e-fed, so he really shouldn't criticize, as he has no part in it. Nick, I like ya bro, but you always find a way of getting under people's skins when you say shit like this.

RRS, look who you're talking to here. When *I* say that, I must have a reason to do so, don't you think?

That's the thing though; I ended it off with a compliment. You guys don't like tough criticisms? Oh well. Being criticized is a sign of you doing something right. You guys are good enough, the e-fed is good enough, and you are popular enough for someone like me to critique your shit. Actually, in page two of this (which is why I actually decided to say something) is because you and Andy still cannot get over shit that happened in PWA and in at least three other threads I keep seeing you guys throw little jabs my way, about this e-fed being fun as if the other one wasn't. You are only trying to talk shit because I took it seriously. That is an unfair Blue assumption especially since you guys wouldn't have gotten as close as butt-buddies if it wasn't for an e-fed that I turned into a big deal. Hell, you are STILL using my match card format. I must've done something right.

Slim or whoever it was is taking too much offense to me talking shit about the e-fed. You think I'm a dick? Oh well. I think you're a dick for thinking I'm a dick. I also think it is a dick move to approve a merger but then not giving anything back to anybody that joined the site. I know that has nothing to do with you, but the fact is; I have my feelings about some people here but that is just the way it is. If I'm a dick, that doesn't mean that I shouldn't have an opinion. I can say whatever I want and if you have such a problem with it, then just put more attention to your e-fed and not me. Believe me, your e-fed needs it.

RRS, stop trying to ride my coattails into being relevant. You're a face and a heel only at times when it is going to generate more attention to yourself. if I'm such a douche and so immature or whatever, then avoid me like the plague you drama queen.

Yup, I'm a drama queen, you're just some douchebag who actually thinks he's smart, when in reality, he's not. It's not your fucking matchcard style you dumbass! It's been used countless times in a ton of e-feds! I've seen it used many times. Stop trying to take credit for it. You are severely misguided in all the assumptions you say about me, it's ridiculous. And are you referring to me when you say "you can't get over shit that happened in PWA."? I personally don't care, In my honest opinion, Pete was never a good choice for any kind of staff position in PWA(I'm not shitting on you Pete, so calm your tits) as he was far too biased in his opinions. And proved that he could be extremely hot headed, much like yourself whenever somebody challenged him. I'm not saying I'm any better, because I am not.

Guys...last warning...KNOCK IT OFF.

RRS stop trying to white-knight, vent frustrations, whatever you're doing. I'm not flaming Nick, so why should you?

Nick, you voiced your opinion and I didn't take offense to it, even though whatever you dislike about this e-fed wasn't brought about by me. Now stop attacking others for doing the same against you.

Let's stop this flamewar because it doesn't help anybody, and it sure as hell doesn't help the fed OR the forum OR anything like that. Roleplayers, back to your roleplaying; Nick, back to whatever it is you do. And let's get on with our lives, 'cause we have a PPV to get through.

OK?

OK.
