I see what you're saying. I remember when Reigns somehow had a good match with Big Show. I still think that it takes two to make a match good, but Cena does get to work with the best, so....

Yes, Reigns and Show did have a good match. As much as I don't like Show, the guy is still mobile for his size and age, unlike that lame ass turd, Kane.

ADR also pulled a good match with Reigns, Orton and Rollins, as well. It does make two to make a match good, which goes to show Reigns isn't hopeless both in the ring or on the stick. The brass is just too hands on with the guy. Let him breathe, FFS.

Especially on the mic. He'd sound better if what he said was a natural reaction. They should just give him bullet points.

-Keep it short
-Mention this
-Don't mention this

..and now you've got a qt who kicks ass and doesn't talk too much.

Totally. He just needs to be straightforward with his promos. Him simply saying "I'm gonna whoop your ass" would work, because he does look like a guy who could whoop your ass.

There are a few guys out there who could wrestle a broom and put on a good match. Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels were able to put on stellar matches with guys who never had another decent match in their career. I've seen Hiroshi Tanahashi do that too. These three guys were able to put on the complete offense for some opponents.

Cena is not a terrible wrestler. Before he became WWE Champion for the first time, I actually enjoyed a few of his matches. He can wrestle, it's just for the longest time, he didn't. He wrestled the same furmulaic Hulk Hogan match where he got his ass kicked until the end of the match and then had his miraculous comeback and won. That's what me and many others were sick of.. it was a guy who we knew could wrestle but wasn't.

Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Rollins and others are good wrestlers but they aren't the caliber of Flair, Michaels and Tanahashi in which they can completely carry an opponents offense so Cena does deserve some credit for those matches also.

I think Triple H even knows that it would be lame as hell for him to take this opportunity to put the title on himself instead of pushing someone else. His ego isn't that crazy anymore. Now Cena on the other thats a different story. Big Match John wants to become that 16 time.

If Triple H put the title on himself, it would not be to promote his ego. It would likely be because the WWE currently is without Seth Rollins, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton etc... their upper card is very thinned out. It he put the title on himself, it would likely be to add more upper card dynamics.

That being said, I don't think there is any chance this will happen. The title will likely go to Reigns or possibly Sheamus. However, considering the weak upper card, it could go to someone who we are not expecting in a way to give them an instant push. I have no idea who that would be, but you never know.

I'm really looking forward to this because I love when things like this happen. I loved it when it happened before Wrestlemania 4 and I loved it even more when they gave the belt to the Royal Rumble winner in 1992.

I seem to remember Cena having a somehow decent last man standing match with Khali at one point, if that doesn't show his quality I'm not sure what will. He isn't a great worker the majority of the time but he does have it in his locker so to speak.

Bryan has worked in some very difficult circumstances and made them good at least hasn't he (I remember a Mark Henry / Bryan / Big Show triple threat for the WHC being more enjoyable that it had any right to be plus his matches with Kane)

Daniel Bryan can definitely carry a lesser opponent. But I don't personally feel he is the caliber of Flair in how Flair could take a guy who has never put on a good match and make the guy look like a five star performer.

Yeah I get where you're coming from, I personally wouldn't put anyone on the level of Flair in that respect. I'd put Bryan on the level of HBK in that regard though. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

No, I agree. I really only included HBK and Tanahashi because I didn't want anyone to think I was just being biased towards Flair but no one touches Flair in this regard. Bryan is definitely more on HBK's level.

I don't know if you can put the genie back into the bottle in regards to trying to get Reigns over in the "bad-ass Goldberg squash match" type of way. Once we've become accustomed to seeing him wrestle superstars on the main roster and even main eventing Wrestlemania, I think a lot of folks would wonder why he's even being booked against unknown jobbers that we know don't stand a chance against him.

In regards to Ambrose swooping his casual tank-top and jeans for a pair of normal wrestling trunks, no. Just no. His attire already fits him perfectly, since he's supposed to an unconventional character to begin with, and wearing the clothes he does makes it look like he came to fight without bothering to put on the more standard wrestling gear. Not everyone has to be suited with generic wrestling tights. The Wyatts aren't either. John Cena has been the face of the company for over a decade while sporting unconventional wrestling attire like jorts and sneakers to the ring. Ambrose can manage.
If you dislike change that is fine, but don't speak for others. If Reigns was booked as I suggested why get your panties in such a bunch about it?
Stacking the deck is old as stale bread. If the audience hasn't gotten used to it, then it is time they should.

John Cena dresses like a child, WWE's target audience. Mothers dress their child like Cena and make no qualms about it.
Ambrose dresses like a inebriated street fighter. It isn't the same. Ambrose looks like a dead beat dad. Why would WWE market that?
Miz was in the same boat, switched to trunks and suddenly McMahon was very high on him.
Ambrose can manage alright. He can manage to carry Reigns bags and settle being midcard for life. He's better than being a f*cking Sandman (ECW) clone.

Aren't they trying to cover Ambrose's scars on Raw and that's why he wears the wife beater? This could well have been a bit of speculation I heard on here before, not sure.

As deserving as he is, I really don't think they will. With their upper card so thin, you'd also think they'd activate Daniel Bryan. A Daniel Bryan and Cesaro match in the tournament would be awesome but that is the very definition of wishful thinking on my part.

Survivor Series 1998 esque is good too, except not involving a screw job, maybe have 2 faces like Ambrose and Reigns in the finals and one turns heel to win the belt, like heel Reigns and he alligns himself with Haitch.
