There is more chance of seeing a ghost than an alien lol.

Of course, Because Aliens would have to travel here, Or we would travel there.. A Ghost is on this planet, If there is such thing.

This is going to sound crazy to non-believers but it's 100% true.

I believe in ghosts and saw a few when I was a kid.

I remember all of it like it was yesterday. I was so fucking scared, I would try to scream for my parents and nothing would come out.

First encounter, I was just going to bed. I used to sleep with my door open (haven't ever since this day). Everyone else had already gone to bed so all the lights in the house were off. I opened my eyes and saw an old lady go past my door. She had a bun (hairstyle), a white shawl and a typical old lady dress. She just went passed my door and I never saw her again.

Next encounter, I saw the shadow of a girl with long, wavy hair on the wall.

My blinds closed once by themselves.

Bags in my closet would start to make noise out of the blue.

I was in my basement alone and the sound of someone dragging their feet on the ground caused me to run so fucking fast up the stairs, I had never run that fast in my entire life.

My dolls would suddenly fall after being securely standing for months.

I saw a scottish terrier run into my room. I closed my eyes and he was gone when I opened them.

I heard my name being said a few times. That was fucking scary.

My dad still lives there and he is there by himself. I have no idea how the hell he can stay there. That house is creepy as fuck.

I believe every word. I posted one I had earlier in this thread, but I have had a lot of "encounters" or experiences. When I was in my early teens in the 90's I used to sometimes see weird shit when I was home alone. Once I saw a disembodied hand floating for a second or two, then disappearing. Another time I was playing SNES in my basement, which was a finished basement that had a jukebox (bought for $100 from a bar). I had all the lights on, music playing at a decent volume as I was playing Super Punchout or Super Street Fighter 2. I paused my game & went upstairs to use the bathroom & get a drink. After doing so I went to the basement door, where I saw everything shut off. There was no electrical problems, my dad is a master electrician, I can definitely rule that out. I turned the lights on to see what the hell happened & that's when I saw that the switches for the SNES & jukebox were in the off position & tv was shut off. I ran upstairs as fast as I could & locked the basement door. In that house I'd sometimes get the feeling that I was being watched, but there would be no one around when I turned to look. I don't recall experiencing weird shit in that house after I turned 14 or so in 94.

I lived in an apartment about 6 years ago with my father & sister. At the time I had broken fragments of my hip & fluid in the joint, which left me in immense pain, key to the story. I would get woken out of sleep by the pain, it was intense enough that really only an oxycontin would dull the pain a bit. So one night my leg fell off my bed & I woke from the pain. I was wondering how the hell I was going to get it back up, when I felt a hand lift it up & put it back into my bed. Then I felt the blankets pulled over me & the sheet tucked in, followed by a pat on the shoulder. At first I thought it was a member of my family, but a) my door didn't open & b) I could hear them all sleeping. Often after that I would wake up to feel & see my sheets tucked in around me, like whoever was doing it was doing it in a protective manner. All of the tucking in stopped completely after I moved to a new place, where there hasn't been anything like that at all.

Wow! I had a few situations with my TV when it suddenly turned off. I've had a sudden cold breeze pass by.

I fucking love stuff like this, it's so creepy but interesting.

Did anyone in your family die? Maybe a friend? Unless the spirit who was tucking you in maybe had kids on their own and were looking out for you.

Awesome stories!

It's frustrating, though, when people look at you like you're fucked up. I know what I saw and I wasn't crazy. It was there and I can remember it so well.

My grandfather died of lung cancer in the early 1970's, caused by welding, before myself or any of my cousins were born. He was a welder who worked on the World's Fair in Flushing NY, I know for a fact that he helped build the globe that is near the grounds close to where the NY Mets play (Citifield), which has been in movies & on tv shows. If you've ever seen "Men In Black", the ending is all on the World's Fairgrounds. He & a grand-aunt (who didn't have kids) are the only people I could think of. I did like the tucking in because it felt comforting instead of the "angry" encounters you hear people having. It may have been a restless spirit of someone who lived there prior to apartments being built. That area had a large native american population & after that it was a colonial town that George Washington stayed in briefly during the Revolutionary War, like pretty much every town in NJ. George Washington seemed to sleep in every town in NJ, NY & PA, most towns have a historical marker.

It would be really cool if it were him. My grandpa died before I was born and I always wonder if he's hangin' around that house.

I don't believe in God and I don't believe in a heaven or a hell so I don't think we go to either when we die but if we get to float around freely, I plan on entering a first grade class and writing on the chalkboard to see if anyone pisses their pants.

I do, however, do not dismiss reincarnation at all. I was thinking about why I am afraid of some things because it doesn't make any sense but if something happened to me in a past life, that could be the answer. Another thing, one of my dogs now (he is 3) is EXACTLY like my dog that passed away in 2004. She was 13 and died of cancer. Anyways, his entire persona is like an exact copy of hers. He is even about the same size as her (he is a Boston Terrier, she was a Sheltie) and he has cropped ears, which she also had. Like her, he is a very people oriented dog, he runs and hides at the slightest raise in voice, he's quiet, it's just really weird how they are so much alike.

Yeah. At least once a year deja vu happens to me. It usually is something mundane like driving down a road I've never been on & see a house that was in a dream. I've even had it where someone says something in a dream & the person says the exact same thing in real life.

I can't say I've ever experienced that. I have woke up in bed only able to move my eyes, while my whole body is paralysed.
